(57)【要約】 【目的】 目の調節機能を高めて、目の疲労を解消す
る装置の提供を目的とする。 【構成】 ヒーターと水槽と蒸気を目に当てる接眼部
とその内側に設置した熱水の流出防止の機構によって構
成される。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は目の疲労を解消し、目
の健康を維持する装置に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】一般的に目の疲労の解消には目薬が用い
られることが多い。しかし、これらは栄養剤をはじめ薬
品の化学的作用により外部から目の疲労を一時的に緩和
するもので、人体が本来備えている生理調節機能を高
め、疲労を取り除くというものではなく、人間の生理に
根ざした解消法とは言えないところに問題があった。ま
た目薬には防腐剤が含まれており、生体への悪影響も懸
念される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】この発明は、人体に本
来備わっている生理的調節機能を高めることにより、目
の疲労を解消し、かつ目の健康を維持する装置を提供す
ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するこの
装置は、蒸気を発生させるヒーターと水槽（トレー）、
保安部品から構成されており、蒸気の出口＝接眼部に目
を当てるというものである。蒸気を浴びることで眼球に
は水分が補給され、ドライアイなどの症状を緩和するほ
か、温熱と水分の同時作用により目とその周囲の組織の
血流を良くし、結果として眼球組織の新陳代謝を活性化
させることにより、目の疲労を回復する。上記の作用
は、人間の生理に根ざしたものであり、使い続けること
によって目の調節機能を回復し、目の健康を維持するこ
とが可能になる。

【作用】水槽（トレー）中の水はヒーターにより熱せら
れ、蒸気を発生させる。発生した蒸気はカバー部分を伝
わり、効率的に接眼部に集められる。この状態で接眼部
に暫時、目を当てることで目の疲労を解消し、目の健康
を維持する。

【実施例】一実施例として図１、図２、図３に示した通
りである。図１は本装置の立体図であり、１は蒸気の出
口であると同時に蒸気を浴びる接眼部となっている。２
は蒸気を集め、保温と保安機能を兼ねるカバー部分であ
り、３は４水槽（トレー）と５ゴムパッキンとヒーター
が一体となった本体部分である。６はカバー部分に設置
した熱水流出防止機構、７はカバー部分と本体部分の嵌
合部分から熱水が漏れることを防止するゴムパッキンで
ある。これにより万が一装置自体が転倒しても６と７の
機能によって熱水が外に漏れることがない。９はヒータ
ーの電源スイッチ、１０は電源コードである。図２は本
装置を正面から見た断面図である。１１のヒーターは４
水槽（トレー）の下部にあり、水槽（トレー）中の水を
温め、蒸気を発生させる。水槽（トレー）上の開口部の
周囲は５ゴムパッキンで完全密閉されており、本体部分
の内部に水が侵入しない仕組になっている。１３は本体
部分下の散熱口である。図３は本装置を側面から見た断
面図である。１２の蝶番は本体部分とカバー部分を連結
しており、カバー部分正面にある１４留め具によってカ
バー部分の開閉を行う。顔面をカバー部分上部の接眼部
に当て蒸気を浴びる。蒸気の発生が少なくなり、また蒸
気の温度が下がった場合は、電源スイッチを入れ、水槽
（トレー）中の水を再加熱し、蒸気量と温度を調節す
る。水の補給は、カバー部分を開閉することにより行
う。

【発明の効果】ヒーターで水を加熱することにより発生
した蒸気は、眼球表面を潤し、眼球に水分を補給する。
同時に蒸気は目と目の周囲の組織の血行を良くして、新
陳代謝を高めることにより目と周囲の組織の疲労を解消
する。また蒸気は目と目の周囲の筋肉の緊張を和らげ、
目をリラックスさせる効果がある。ヒーターにより水を
加熱することで、いつでも暖かい蒸気が得られる。カバ
ー部分は効率よく蒸気を接眼部に集めるほか保温機能も
有している。カバー部分の内側に設けられた熱水流出防
止機構により、加熱された水が外部に漏れるのを防止す
る。
