ースの開口部と相対向する前記カバーの裏面位置に脆弱
部分を破断溝により形成した破断開放部と、該破断開放
部に対応する形状の補強板材とを備えた自動車用エアー
バッグ装置において、 前記内装カバーの破断開放部の裏面側に下方に伸びる水
平断面矩形状の補強リブを突設し、該補強リブの前,後
側壁(長手方向)にそれぞれ所定間隔で形成した係合孔
を設け、前記係合孔に前記エアーバッグケースの前,後
側端面(長手方向)に固着したフック部を、前記補強板
材のヒンジ部から下方に延長される取付部を介して係止
し、かつ前記補強リブの左,右側壁を前記エアーバッグ
ケースの左,右側端面からそれぞれ所定の距離離間させ

成したことを特徴とする自動車用エアーバッグ装置。
