Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loosely or freely installed floor material enabling the accurate execution of work without generating a step height or a clearance between the floor materials adjoining to each other in longitudinal and lateral directions. SOLUTION: A female tongue part 2 having a fitting groove part 2d opened upward in its top surface is installed in the end part on the side of one long side of a rectangular floor-material main body 1, and a male tongue part 3 having a downward projection part 3c capable of being engaged with the groove part 2d in its under surface is installed in the end part on the side of the other long side thereof so that the fitting of the tongue parts 2 and 3 of the adjacent main bodies 1 and 1 can prevent a lift and the step height from mutually generated and the engagement of a fitting groove part 2a and the projection part 3c can regulate a width-direction displacement to eliminate the generation of the clearance. Upward and downward locking hooks capable of being engaged with each other are installed in both end parts, respectively, on the side of the short side of the main body 1 for the purpose of enabling the fitting of the tongue parts 2 and 3 and a coupling between the main body 1 and 1 ranging perpendicularly with respect to the tongue parts 2 and 3.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a floor material to be installed on a floor surface of a floor base panel such as plywood or a floor base material such as a concrete slab, a male part is formed on one end face of a floor material mainly formed in a rectangular shape. A structure in which the male part is formed on the other end surface with a female part to which the male part can be fitted is widely known. It is only configured that the side end faces are actually joined by the male and female real parts, so even if they are joined, there is no restriction on the direction in which the floor materials come into contact with and separate from each other along the floor base surface. Therefore, gaps and steps are likely to occur between adjacent flooring materials due to variations in the skills of the workers and the accuracy of the construction surface, and it is difficult to perform the construction with high accuracy.

[0003] For this reason, the present applicant has filed a Japanese Patent Application No. Hei 4-31.
A flooring as described in No. 7769 was developed. That is, this flooring is provided with a groove that opens horizontally and a groove that opens vertically downward at the distal end surface and the base lower surface of one side end at both side ends of the flooring material that are parallel to each other. And an upper ridge engageable with the vertically downwardly-opening groove and the horizontally-opening groove are fitted to the lower end portion and the base end surface of the other side end portion. A groove formed in the horizontal direction when the male and female real parts of the flooring material are joined to each other at the time of construction. In addition to restricting the occurrence of displacement in the vertical direction due to engagement with the ridge, the displacement in the horizontal direction is restricted by the fitting of the groove that opens vertically downward and the upward ridge.

However, in such a structure, when the floor material is laid on the floor base surface without nailing or bonding, the displacement between the two mutually parallel side ends is restricted. Even if it can be done, the other mutually parallel end faces can only be butted against each other without any restriction, so that sliding between the floor base surface and the floor plate due to horizontal external force due to walking or earthquake occurrence etc. In addition, there is a problem that a gap is generated between the butted end surfaces due to expansion and contraction of the floor plate itself due to moisture absorption / release, and a precise floor cannot be obtained.

Further, the adjacent floor members can be prevented from being displaced in a vertical direction or a step due to floating or the like by the male and female real parts fitted to each other, and the grooves of the upwardly open openings of these male and female real parts engaged with each other. And the downwardly protruding ridge portion can reliably restrain the delusion in the front-rear direction, and furthermore, the engagement between the upward hook portion and the downward hook portion that are connected at right angles to the male and female real portions causes a lateral shift. Therefore, it is possible to always maintain an accurate construction state for a long period of time without causing a gap between floor materials adjacent to each other even by an earthquake or the like.

Further, if the grooves and the ridges and the upward hooks and the downward hooks of the male and female real parts which are engaged with each other are formed of a flexible material, they can be fitted and engaged while deforming at the time of construction. The workability can be further improved, and the flooring material can be given an appropriate cushioning property by imparting elasticity together with flexibility. In addition, the male and female real part and the hook part can be combined with each other. Due to the elastic engagement of the above, even if there is a slight unevenness in the floor base material or a variation in the construction technology, it can be absorbed and the floor construction with the same upper surface can be performed with high accuracy. Thus, the flooring material of the present invention is used as a flooring material to be laid on a flooring material without using nails or adhesives.
The construction can be performed accurately and easily without skill.
