The invention relates to a preformed cable joint, preferably to a bent cable, as defined in the preamble of claim 1. A mechanism for use in a cable joint. The invention also relates to a rotating electrical device as described in the preamble of claim 24. Cable joints typically include two cables and a fitting that fits between the cables to join them. The cable fitting is usually fitted over a straight cable positioned underground or on a cable ladder, and the cable fitting and the cable are securely fixed in relation to each other. However, the use of cables, or high voltage insulated conductors, in the stator windings of rotating electrical equipment results in cable joints that are fitted over folded (curved) cables, thus creating a new type of stress or stress. It will be subjected to bending stress. Also, cable joints and cables will experience motion due to both thermal expansion and mechanical vibration. Another problem associated with such applications is that the cable and cable coupling cannot be anchored to a common fastening device. EP 0 732 787 discloses a device for wrapping a cable joint. FIG. 2 of this document illustrates a stabilizing bar mounted along a joint. The purpose of this bar is to provide structural stability to the joint, especially to prevent sharp bends. The rod is secured to the cable jacket using a compression clamp. This document also discloses a flexible (or hard) shell that is placed around the cable fitting and is filled with a hardenable encapsulant to seal the cable fitting. The encapsulant cures to a gel-like consistency. Other devices for encapsulating cable joints, in particular various sleeve designs, are known, for example, from DE 344 1311 and EP 0316911. However, any of the known devices are capable of simultaneously absorbing the dimensional changes of the cable mainly due to thermal expansion and contraction, without damage to the device and yet forming the joint, i.e., the two cables and their joints. There is no ability to keep the cable joints stationary with respect to each other. Examples of rotating electrical equipment that are relevant in this context include synchronous machines, conventional asynchronous and double-fed machines, AC machines, applications in asynchronous static current converter cascades, outer rotating Machine and synchronous flux machine. The arrangement according to the invention is particularly suitable for rotating electrical equipment which operates as a generator in a power plant for generating electric power. It is an object of the present invention to provide a mechanism for a cable joint designed to solve the above-mentioned problems, especially in a joint on a bent cable. This object is achieved by a mechanism of the type described in the preamble of claim 1 with the special features defined in the characterizing part of claim 1. Another object is to provide a rotating electric device in which the above-mentioned problems have been solved. This object is achieved through a machine of the type described in the preamble of claim 24, which is provided with the features defined in the characterizing part of claim 24. Thus, in a mechanism in the form of a support designed to be applied over the entire cable joint in such a way that the parts contained within the joint remain substantially immobile in relation to each other, The body includes at least one securing element that resiliently secures the cable to the cable, the securing element providing a mechanism capable of absorbing dimensional changes in the cable due to thermal expansion or contraction. This achieves the advantage that the joint is straight and stays in place and the joint area is not subjected to bending stresses. At the same time, changes in the cable dimensions are absorbed and therefore do not adversely affect the joint. The result is a very reliable and secure cable joint. This mechanism also has the advantage that it can be used not only in high-voltage electrical equipment, but also in other situations where a support for cable joints, especially bent cables, is required. The cables contemplated by the arrangement according to the invention are preferably of the solid extruded insulation type currently used for power distribution, such as XLPE cables or EPR insulated cables, used for windings. Such a cable comprises an inner conductor consisting of one or more strands, an inner semiconductive layer surrounding the conductor, a solid insulating layer surrounding it, and an outer semiconductive layer surrounding the insulating layer. Such a cable is flexible, and this flexibility is based on the fact that the technology for the mechanism according to the invention is mainly based on a winding system in which the winding is formed by a cable that is bent during assembly. As such, it is an important property in this context. The flexibility of an XLPE cable typically corresponds to a radius of curvature of about 20 cm for a 30 mm diameter cable and about 65 cm for an 80 mm diameter cable. In the present application, the term "flexibility" is used to indicate that the winding has a flexibility up to a radius of curvature of approximately 4 times the cable diameter, preferably 8 to 12 times the cable diameter. I have. The windings must be configured to retain their properties even when they are bent and when they are subjected to thermal stresses during operation. Under this circumstance, it is very important that the layers retain their adhesion to each other. The material properties of the layer, in particular its elasticity and the relative coefficient of thermal expansion, are decisive factors here. For example, in the XLPE cable, the insulating layer is made of cross-linked low density polyethylene, and the semiconductive layer is made of polyethylene mixed with soot and metal particles. The volume change as a result of temperature fluctuations is completely absorbed as a change in radius in the cable, and the relative difference between the coefficients of thermal expansion in the layers in relation to the elasticity of these materials is relatively small. Directional expansion can occur without loss of adhesion between the layers. The above material combinations are to be regarded only as examples. Any other condition that also satisfies the specified conditions and that it be semiconductive, that is, have a resistivity in the range of 10 -1 to 10 6 ohm-cm, for example 1 to 500 ohm-cm or 10 to 200 ohm-cm. Combinations naturally fall within the scope of the invention. The insulating layer may be a solid thermoplastic material such as low density polyethylene (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), polybutylene (PB), polymethylpentene ("TPX"), cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), etc. It may be composed of a crosslinked material or a rubber such as ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) or gyricon rubber. The inner and outer semiconductive layers may be made of the same base material, but with particles of a conductive material such as soot or metal powder mixed therein. The mechanical properties of these materials, especially their coefficient of thermal expansion, depend on whether soot or metal powder is incorporated, at least in the proportions required to achieve the required conductivity according to the present invention. Relatively little affected. Thus, the insulating layer and the semiconductive layer have substantially the same coefficient of thermal expansion. Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer / nitrile rubber (EVA / NBR), butyl grafted polyethylene, ethylene butyl acrylate copolymer (EBA) and ethylene ethyl acrylate copolymer (EEA) are also suitable for semiconductive layers. A polymer. Even when different types of materials are used as bases in the various layers, it is desirable that their coefficients of thermal expansion be substantially the same. This is the case for the combinations of materials listed above. The materials listed above have relatively good elasticity with an E coefficient of E <500 Mpa, preferably <200 Mpa. This elasticity is absorbed in the radial direction of the elasticity by any slight difference between the coefficients of thermal expansion for the materials in the layer, and is sufficient to prevent the layers from delaminating from each other without any cracks or other damage. Things. The materials in the layers are elastic and the adhesion between the layers is at least as great as that of the weakest material. The conductivity of the two semiconductive layers is sufficient to make the potential substantially equal along each layer. The conductivity of the outer semiconductive layer is high enough to include an electric field in the cable, but low enough not to cause significant losses due to current induced in the longitudinal direction of the layer. Thus, each of the two semiconducting layers essentially constitutes one equipotential surface, these layers substantially confining the electric field between the layers. Of course, this does not preclude placing one or more additional semiconductive layers in the insulating layer. The mechanism according to the invention is primarily intended for use in cable joints in which the spliced cable is composed of high-voltage cables, the advantages of which are particularly outstanding in the art. One particular feature is stated that the cable is comprised of high voltage cables. One additional feature is located the diameter of the high-voltage cable in the range of 20~250Mm, electrical power interruption area is that in the range of 80~3000mm 2. Further features and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the remaining dependent claims. As a special advantage, the fixing element is made of an elastic material. According to a first embodiment of the invention, the support comprises at least one rigid yoke, wherein the shape of the inner surface of the yoke facing the joint is adapted to the outer shape of the joint. The support in the form of a yoke has the advantage that it is a very lightweight construction that can be easily manufactured using compression molding or casting. The yoke can also be very easily provided over the entire joint. A plurality of yokes may be used, for example, one support may be composed of three yokes, each having substantially the same shape. As a further advantage, each yoke has an elongated shape and can be terminated at its two ends, and the fixing element is provided for positioning and securely fixing the yoke to the two joined cables. A device for elastic clamping may be provided. According to a second embodiment, the support is characterized in that it comprises a sleeve. The shape of the sleeve is coupled to the joint because the inside diameter of the sleeve is substantially the same size as the maximum outside diameter of the cable joint. According to an advantageous variant of the second embodiment, the sleeve is constituted by two axial sleeve parts which allow the support to be easily fitted over the entire joint. Dividing the sleeve into a plurality of sections with an air gap between them is also advantageous for cooling the joint. The sleeve or sleeve part according to this second embodiment may also advantageously be provided with small openings or slits in the wall of the sleeve to allow cooling of the joint inside the sleeve. The support further comprises at least one attachment means for joining said sleeve portions. This second embodiment and its variants also preferably include two bushes, one at each end of the sleeve to secure the sleeve to the cable. Shaping the support as one sleeve or two sleeve halves with the bush provides the advantage of a particularly strong support, while at the same time protecting the entire cable joint as well as a portion of each cable from substantial external influences. Is provided. The bush is preferably divided into two axial bush halves for ease of assembly. The bush has the advantage that it can consist of a prefabricated standard bush for high and medium voltage cables. Frequently used materials include rubber, such as ethylene propene rubber or silicone rubber, which allows some elasticity in holding the cable. This is also advantageous in terms of thermal expansion. The bush allows a certain amount of expansion within the cable and adjusts itself as the cable cools and contracts. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the bush is provided with special means for absorbing dimensional changes of the cable, either internally or externally, preferably due to thermal expansion or contraction, such as radial undulations. Have been. This offers the advantage that the bush can absorb thermal expansion in the underlying cable insulation. According to another feature, a special advantage is obtained because the support and its accessories can be made of a conductive material, thus allowing the joint to be grounded. Alternatively, if grounding is to be avoided, the support and its accessories can be made of electrically insulating material. Rotating electrical equipment has traditionally been designed for voltages in the range of 6-30 kV, with 30 kV usually being considered the upper limit. This generally means that the generator must be connected to the grid via a transformer that steps up the voltage to the grid level, i.e. in the range of about 130-140 kV. The present invention is primarily intended for use at high pressures. High voltage is here understood to mean a voltage above 10 kV. The standard operating range for a mechanism according to the invention can be a voltage from about 36 kV up to 800 kV. Second, the present invention is intended for use in the art at voltages below 36 kV. By using high-voltage insulated conductors, also called high-voltage cables, with solid insulation similar to that used in cables for transmitting power (eg XLPE cables), the voltage of the equipment is directly connected to the power grid without intermediate transformers To a level that can be achieved. Thus, the conventional transformer can be eliminated. However, an important requirement for this is that the cables can be joined in a reliable manner, and the invention makes this possible. For a better understanding of the invention, the two embodiments are described in detail below, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, FIG. 1 is a view schematically showing a support according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a schematic cross section of a cable joint in a state where the support according to FIG. 1 is applied. FIG. 3, FIG. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a cable joint with the support according to the second embodiment applied, FIG. 4 shows a variant of details in the support according to FIG. FIG. 5, FIG. 5 shows a second variant of details in the support according to FIG. 3, FIG. 6 schematically shows a modification of one of the supports in FIG. 3, and FIG. Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view through a high-voltage cable for which the mechanism is particularly suitable. According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the support is in the form of a yoke 1. The yoke has an elongated shape and terminates at two ends 3,4. The shape of the yoke is adapted to the contour of the cable joint it is to support. In the example shown, the shape of the yoke exactly follows the shape of the cable joint. However, only the inside of the yoke has a shape corresponding to the cable joint, but its outside surface can have any other suitable shape, such as a simple shape from a manufacturing point of view. The yoke is preferably applied centrally on the joint, with its end portions 3, 4 in contact with two cables 6, 7 joined by a cable joint 9, as illustrated in FIG. is there. In order to secure the yoke to the cable, the support also comprises elastic clamping mechanisms 11, 12 at each end. The tightening mechanism may be constituted by a tape wound around the end of the yoke and the cable, or may be constituted by a cable coupler or the like. If the support must be grounded, the yoke is made of a conductive material, for example a metal. In this case, the fastening mechanism must of course be made of a conductive material. Alternatively, if the support is required to be one that does not allow grounding, the material chosen for the yoke and clamping mechanism is an electrically non-conductive material, for example plastic. Should. A second embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. The support here consists of a sleeve 15 which is fitted centrally around the cable joint 16, preferably over the entire joint. Two cables 18, 19 are joined using this cable joint. The shape of the sleeve follows the shape of the cable joint, since the inner diameter of the sleeve is adapted to the outer diameter of the cable joint. Bushes 21 and 22 are located at each end of the sleeve, and the primary purpose of these bushes is to position and secure the sleeve around each cable. The bush comprises, for example, an assembled standard bush for high and medium voltage cables. Frequently used materials include rubber, for example, ethylene propene rubber or silicone rubber, which allows some elasticity in holding the cable. This is advantageous in terms of thermal expansion. The bush allows a certain amount of expansion within the cable and adjusts itself as the cable cools and contracts. 4 and 5 illustrate two particularly advantageous modifications of the bush. In both cases, the bush is split in half in the axial direction. Only one half of the bush is illustrated in FIG. Half 24 of this bush is provided with a semi-circular boring 25 for cable passage. On the inner surface, i.e. the surface facing the cable, a corrugation in the form of a groove 26 of sufficient depth to allow the bush to absorb the thermal expansion in the underlying cable insulation when the bush is fitted over the cable. It has become. Towards the half 28 of the bush illustrated in FIG. 5, a corrugation with a groove 30 is provided on its outer surface. These grooves are formed in the same manner as the grooves in FIG. 4 and have the same functions. The bush also has a central bore 29 facing the cable. The corrugated outer surface of the bush faces the inside of the sleeve. Of course, it is also possible to provide the bushing with corrugations on both the inner and outer surfaces, which may be advantageous where very high thermal expansion can be expected in the underlying cable insulation. unknown. FIG. 6 shows a modification of the second embodiment shown in FIG. Here the sleeve consists of two axial sleeve halves 40, 41 surrounding a cable joint 43 for joining the two cables 45, 46. One half of the two sleeves has the advantage that it is easier to fit into a cable joint compared to an embodiment that uses an undivided sleeve that must slide around the joint. The sleeve halves 40, 41 are united around the joint using attachment means 48, which may be some form of resilient clamping mechanism, for example a cable coupler. In the illustrated example, one attachment means is provided at each end of the sleeve and one at the center of the sleeve. The number of attachment means is selected as required. At each end of the sleeve formed by each half of the two sleeves are bushings 50, 51 corresponding to the bushings of FIG. As is particularly well illustrated in FIG. 6, the support keeps both the cable and the cable joint straight and immobile. In a second embodiment, also having a sleeve or half of a sleeve, all parts can be made of either a conductive material to enable grounding or an electrically insulating material. The sleeve may also be provided with a small opening or slit 53 in its wall to facilitate cooling of the joint. Finally, FIG. 7 shows a cross-sectional view of a high voltage cable 35 that is particularly suitable for use with the present invention. The high-voltage cable 35 includes several strands 31 made of, for example, copper (Cu) and having a circular cross section. These strands are located at the center of the high voltage cable. Surrounding the stranded portion 31 is a first semiconductive layer 32. Surrounding the first semiconductive layer 32 is an insulating layer 33 such as XLPE insulation, and surrounding the insulating layer 33 is a second semiconductive layer. The cables shown differ from conventional high voltage cables in that the outer mechanical protective sheath and metal screen that normally surround such distribution cables are eliminated. Thus, the concept of "high-voltage cable" in the present application need not include the metal screen and outer protective sheath normally surrounding such distribution cables. The embodiments illustrated and described herein are to be considered only by way of example, and the present invention is not limited thereto, and may be modified within the scope of the inventive concept defined in the appended claims. It can be added. It is also emphasized that the invention is not limited to bent cables, but can be used for all types of cable joints that require a support.
