Radial damping mechanism for turntable of CD player
The present invention relates to a tray for supporting a CD used in a CD player or recorder.
Turn with a bearing-mounted shaft
It is about a table. More specifically, the present invention relates to a so-called reference player (r
eference player). The reference player is gold
It is used for testing compact discs (CDs) pressed in a mold. This trial
Test evaluates the quality of the mold because the press work wears the mold.
. The reference player is the nominal track of the track of the CD, especially pressed.
used to measure the radial deviation from the rack), the so-called radial noise.
Things. The noise represented by the distance value is limited to several nm to 12 nm. Raj
Al noise is caused by light from a light source attached to the scanning arm in the usual manner.
It can be measured by scanning the track. Truck Radial Neu
The level of noise can be measured based on the positioning error of the scanning arm. La
The frequency spectrum of the dial noise is single speed mode
In the order of 500 to 10,000 Hz.
The problem that arises in the reference player is caused by the bearing of the shaft that is connected to the turntable.
A certain amount of additive noise added is eliminated from the radial noise caused by the CD
That the frequency spectrum of this additive noise
This is due to overlapping with the frequency spectrum of radial noise generated by CD.
is there. Known solutions to this problem include liquid-filled bearings.
ring), which is much smaller than the noise generated by CD
Generates only noise. This liquid-filled bearing is said to be more expensive than ball bearings
Has disadvantages. The turntable according to the invention allows the use of ball bearings to be continued.
In essence, it was designed to provide a cheaper solution.
In the present invention, the fixing means between the shaft on which the bearing is mounted and the plate is provided so that the shaft is fixed to the tray of the shaft.
It is characterized by having a damping mechanism for damping radial vibration.
An advantageous, simple, and relatively low-cost embodiment of the present invention is that the damping mechanism has less rotation axis.
At least a first bearing surface mounted at a substantially right angle, and the first bearing surface substantially parallel to the first bearing surface.
A second bearing surface mounted on the rotating shaft, and a number of rolling elements in contact with the respective bearing surfaces
And a spring loaded element fitted between the tray and the rotating shaft.
It is characterized by.
The damping mechanism according to the present invention will be described with reference to the following drawings.
FIG. 1A shows a cross-sectional view of a damping mechanism according to the present invention.
FIG. 1B is a top view showing a part of FIG. 1A.
The figure shows a cross section of the turntable 1, which is mounted on a ball bearing 3.
Therefore, it is supported and coupled to the rotating shaft 2 operated by the drive motor 4.
The turntable 1 is provided with at least a substantially cylindrical projection 5 concentric with the shaft 2.
I have. For a CD (not shown) having a central hole, the hole moves on the clamp mechanism 6.
By doing so, it is possible to clamp on the turntable 1. Clamp mechanism 6 is public
It comprises a known substantially cylindrical rotating body which fits with the cylindrical projection 5 and
A number of spring plates 7 fixed to the holes are provided on the periphery. Therefore CD
Can be clamped at a predetermined position. The CD is further positioned at a predetermined position by the cap 8.
, And the cap 8 is disposed on the upper surface of the CD, and is positioned at the center of the turntable 1.
It is clamped to a certain protrusion 5 by magnetic force.
The rotation of the shaft 2 causes a radial vibration of the ball bearing 3 as indicated by the arrow 9,
The vibration is transmitted to the shaft 2. The damping mechanism generates the turntable 1 on the shaft 2,
Designed to prevent radial vibration. For this purpose, the first bearing
The surface 10 is connected to the shaft 2 at a substantially right angle, and the second bearing surface 11 is connected to the turntable 1.
The bearing surface exemplified in the present embodiment takes the form of an annular band surrounding the shaft 2. Second bearing surface
11 and the first bearing surface 10 may comprise a plurality, preferably three, independent ball bearings or other
Separated by spherical elements 12. These elements 12 are annularly spaced around the axis 2 at approximately equal intervals
In the figure, one of them is shown. In this case, the ball bearing is
And 11, these bearing surfaces are preferably made of metal carbide. Ball bearings
They are separated by a car structure (not shown). At the same time, bearing surfaces 10 and 11
By a number, preferably six, of coil springs 13 arranged annularly around the axis 2
Both have been pulled, one of which is shown in the figure. Spring 13 is preferred
Or one surface of a ball bearing. Such a structure is mounted on the second bearing surface 11
A certain degree of freedom of movement with respect to the axis of rotation 2 is given. In addition, turntable 1
Further, it has a certain degree of freedom of movement with respect to the axis 2. In the axial direction,
If you are strong. This is because the spring 13 presses the bearing surface against the ball bearing 12.
This is because that.
The operating principle of the damping mechanism is as follows. If a radial vibration occurs on axis 2
However, the turntable 1 actually has a radial
Do not transmit vibrations to the CD, cap 8 and other parts coupled with the turntable.
Guarantee that Because the shaft 2 is fitted in the radial direction by the spring
Because. The ball bearing 12 ensures relative displacement of the bearing surface without friction. Ta
When the inertia due to the mass of the turntable and the set of CDs placed thereon increases, the vibration
Becomes larger. Also, in actual practice, some viscosity and / or
Is the force that resists Coulomb friction or, more generally, turntable movement
And its magnitude increases the speed of rotation of the turntable with respect to the axis.
When added, it is desirable to increase the size. Turntable mass and mating
Viscous damping related to the overall spring constant exceeds the limit value to prevent vibration
Selected to attenuate the turntable. Spring, turntable,
It is desirable that the total bandwidth of the system with these components does not exceed 100Hz
. This gives a good separation of the vibration bands from the radial noise of the CD track.
I can. Proper viscous damping can be achieved, for example, by the correct choice of the material of the bearing surfaces 10 and 11
can get.
The spring is preferably fitted parallel to the axis 2. In that position, at least
Even in the rest position the transmitted radial force is theoretically equal to zero. Tar
Slight expansion of the spring only due to slight deviation of the table from the rest position
And the turntable is returned to the rest position. Accordingly
Therefore, when a spring having another rigidity is applied, a weak repulsive force is obtained. For ball bearings
Of course, in order to pressurize the bearing surface, a high spring stiffness is necessary.
The elasticity contributes to the improvement of vibration damping. This fits the spring parallel to axis 2
To be achieved.
In addition to the embodiment described above, the second bearing surface 11 is disposed below the first bearing surface 10.
Embodiments are also conceivable. Thereby, in the operating position, the turntable is
Will be suspended.
