Foldable agricultural machine and moving the machine from working position to transport position
How to fold
The present invention is an agricultural machine that can be brought from a working position to a transport position,
At the work position, a plurality of power lines arranged in a side-by-side relationship
A main frame including an operating member is provided and at least substantially in a working position.
Centering on a first pivot axis oriented horizontally and substantially perpendicular to the normal direction of travel of the machine,
Further, at least a center of the second pivot, which is transverse to the first pivot, is at least
Swirl means is provided so that one of the swivels takes a transport position, and further controls the swivel angle.
The present invention relates to an agricultural machine provided with a control means for controlling an agricultural machine.
The invention also relates to a method for bringing an agricultural machine from a working position to a transport position.
The use of agricultural machines with a wide working width is becoming more and more frequent. These agriculture
In the transport position, the machine should be folded down to a smaller width to make it suitable for transport on public roads.
Can be folded. Such an agricultural machine is described in German Utility Model 9109324.
No. 4 known. In this publication, six electric tedder members (rotors) are used in a working position.
A so-called hay tedder with is described and illustrated. The tedder member is usually
Parallel to the direction of travel of the
It is rotatable around the heart and has a working width that is much larger than the width of the tractor. This dried
The grass tedder has a width in the transport position that approximately corresponds to the width of the tractor.
This machine consists of a central group of two rotors and two rotors on each side.
With a group consisting of The two side groups are fixed to the central group and work
Swivel about a respective first pivot that extends horizontally and in the direction of travel in the position
While the central group is fixed to the frame, horizontally and at right angles to the direction of travel.
It is rotatable about the facing second pivot. Fold from working position to transport position
During folding, the rotors in both groups are first raised 90 degrees about their respective first pivots.
And then the central group of rotors pivot upward and forward about the second pivot.
Turn. On the other hand, the rotors in both groups simultaneously turn forward, so in the transport position
The two-sided group finally extends obliquely upward and forward with respect to the direction of travel of the machine.
On the other hand, the rotation axes of the rotors in both groups face forward with respect to the traveling direction.
The term "laterally" here means that the axes form a random angle between each other.
Meaning, the term “axis” here means both the virtual axis and the actual axis.
The disadvantage of this folding method is that the center of gravity of the machine shifts to a considerable height during the folding process.
Is to move.
From FR-A-2 686 97, a telescope having first and second pivots is disclosed.
The god is known. This is the machine described in German Utility Model No. 9109324.4.
In order to fold from the working position to the transport position, as opposed to the machine,
A turning motion occurs. On the other hand, there are only four tedder members, two of which are the outer tedder members.
The damper subsequently pivots forward to reduce the width. Final position to be taken by work members
Again, the position can be compared with the position according to German Utility Model 9109324.4
. As a result, the height at which the center of gravity of the machine moves during the folding process is actually lower,
Still quite expensive. Moreover, the height of the machine in the folded state is relatively high. Therefore one
For this reason, working with this machine requires considerable care. An example
For example, there is a risk of damage due to the machine falling.
It is an object of the present invention to reduce at least one of the disadvantages of this state of the art,
It is desirable to completely eliminate this disadvantage. On the other hand, the purpose of the present invention is to
It can be folded from the working position to the transport position, and it is more compact than the working size.
The aim is to obtain an agricultural machine with an optimal transport dimension. The word "dimensions" here
Means length and / or width.
In another aspect of the invention, when the machine is in the folded position and the drive is started
It is another object of the present invention to prevent the drive device and the rotor from being damaged. In another aspect
The light indicates which work members should take to switch from the working position to the transport position.
The aim is to realize a ream movement. This series of exercises is as natural as possible
So that only a minimum of auxiliary means are employed, preferably due to gravity and / or mass inertia.
Realize better.
The invention is particularly, but not exclusively, made of hay such as so-called rakes and teddas.
Related to building machinery. The tedda or rake interacts at high rotational speeds and high forward speeds.
Provide rakes or teddy tines that need to cooperate accurately without interference
Including large rotating parts. Since the crop processing member and its driving device are bulky,
In the folded position, cut off the drive for the crop processing component without damaging the machine.
When changing, it is complicated to fold the machine into the transport position. Tedda or Les
The basic technology of the farm is that much, so compared to other agricultural machines such as weeding harrows
I can't do that.
On the one hand, an agricultural machine according to the invention features a combination of the measures according to claim 1
And The working member is preferably at least about 55 degrees about the first pivot, more preferably
Or at least 70 degrees to the transport position. Thus the center of gravity and the transport height of the machine
Can stay low. The working members in both groups are
The working members, if any, can be pivoted with them.
On the other hand, an agricultural machine according to the invention features a combination of the measures according to claim 4
And In this embodiment, the working member can first pivot forward or backward, so that more than one
Continue to be supported on the ground, if any, on the running or supporting wheels, then turn upward
I do. In this case, the folding should not be tightly synchronized to guarantee stability.
Instead, the center of gravity is still kept low.
The invention is intended, for example, to reduce the length of a row of working members arranged in a side-by-side relationship.
One or more working members, one or more, before or after turning
Leaves the possibility of folding over other working members.
Rotor tines can catch crops on hay tedda
To adjust the tine to a small angle to the horizontal, i.e., up to 6 degrees.
Rotating data is known per se. This adjustability is
From the working position to the transport position to adjust the dimensions of the machine to a size suitable for road transport
It has nothing to do with folding agricultural machines. This adjustability in the working position
For example, to bring agricultural machinery to a free-running position while turning on farmland
ing.
The greater the turning angle according to the present invention, the higher the effect. For example, in the working position
If the length and / or width of a working member is greater than the height, then about 90 degrees
Preferably, it turns. The swivel is preferably such that the working member in the transport position is
It is done in such a way that it does not touch. For example, when the working member is running wheels in the working position
This means that if the wheels are no longer in the transport position
It does not land on the ground. The width and maybe also the length of the agricultural machine
When it is necessary to reduce the working member, the working member is pivoted about the first and second pivots.
It is desirable to make it. The turn is made forward or backward with respect to the normal direction of travel
Not only that, but also above or below. Swivel with horizontal axis or finger down
It can also be done about the opposite axis.
Australian Patent No. 417056 discloses a central frame and
A foldable halo with side frames connected to the central frame.
It is shown. To achieve a substantially vertical position, the two side frames and the center
A frame is a common first pivot that extends horizontally and perpendicular to the normal direction of travel of the machine.
Can be pivoted upwards, and then the side frames are horizontal and in the working position
In the normal direction of travel of the machine, about each second axis extending parallel to the direction of travel
You can turn forward. The second axis consequently reduces the width of the machine at the transport position.
Therefore, it will extend vertically in the folded position.
The invention will now be further described based on non-limiting examples and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
This will be described in detail.

The operating member 18 engages the coupling element 17 and pivots the element 17 about the pivot 16.
You.
In order to adjust the rotor 5 at a slight tilt angle (6 degrees from the horizontal plane) in the working position,
The articulated frame beam 6 pivots about a pivot 19 that extends substantially parallel to the pivot 16.
It is attached to the coupling element 17 so that it can be turned. This adjustment in the working position
In this example, a hydraulic cylinder / piston assembly is used, and
This is possible with the matching operating member 20. In another embodiment, the frame beam 6 is
Secured to the coupling element 17, the rotor 5 is individually adjustable with a small inclination angle. work
During the adjustment in position, the ground of the running wheels 21, one of which is provided for each rotor 5,
It is always important to maintain the above support. This adjustment method uses the rotor 5 shown in FIG.
Is generally limited to an angle of about 6 degrees between the forward tilted position and the substantially horizontal position
. Since each rotor 5 has its own running wheels, it can be adapted to the local conditions of the farmland at the working position.
Can be adapted individually.
As shown in FIG. 2, the plurality of rotors 5 pivot between the working position and the transport position.
In the center, over an angle of at least about 45 degrees to, for example, about 90 degrees in this embodiment.
Can turn together. As a result, the length of the agricultural machine 1 is considerably shorter.
Contracted. Then each side part is forward, ie in the direction of arrow A, again about 90 degrees or
Pivoting about each pivot 13 over a possibly larger angle, FIG.
And the positions shown in FIG. At this position, the width of the agricultural machine 1 is considerably reduced.
In order to further reduce the length, the rotors 5 outside the side groups are connected to the same side group.
For example, in the direction of arrow B shown in FIG.
, Can be pivoted about the pivot 14. In the folded position shown in FIGS. 3 and 4
, The drive of all the rotors 5 is not impaired, at which position the rotors 5 have harmful consequences.
It can be driven to rotate without twisting. In this embodiment, the frame beam during the pivoting motion
6 moves about a pivot 16. In another embodiment, rotor 5 is also a frame bead.
To the robot 6.
In another embodiment (not shown), in addition to the outer rotor 5 in FIG.
Additional rotors 5 may be arranged on both sides of the rotor. To bring agricultural machinery to the transport position
Then, the outer rotor 5 rotates about 25 degrees about the pivot 14 in the direction of arrow B in FIG.
You. In yet another embodiment of the invention, an additional rotor 5 is provided in FIG.
Can be swiveled about a pivot (not shown) that is arranged in a short distance. The additional rotor 5 is shown in FIG.
To pivot in the direction of arrow B about the additional pivot, preferably at an angle of 45 degrees.
Thus, the transportation position can be taken.
FIGS. 5 and 6 show a modification of the agricultural machine according to the invention described above with reference to FIGS.
Here is a modified example. The most important difference is that, in this example, when viewed at the working position of the agricultural machine 1,
The orientation of the axis 13 is not horizontal but at least substantially vertical. Working position
When folded from the rest position to the transport position (see FIGS. 5 and 6), all rotors 5 are pivoted 16
And each side group pivots about a respective pivot 13 and
The transport position is taken above the rotor 5 adjacent to the loop. The position shown in FIG. 5 in the transport position
The outer rotor 5 of each side group with the pivot 14
The pivoting of the heart limits the increase in height of the agricultural machine 1 in the transport position.
It is. Perhaps the outer rotor 5 faces the inner rotor on the back side
In addition, a further rotation is made about and parallel to an axis located a little away from the axis 14.
You can also turn it.
With reference to FIGS. 7 to 9, yet another modification of the agricultural machine according to the invention is described.
ing. Unlike the agricultural machines described and illustrated thus far, FIGS.
The agricultural machine has four rotors 5 in the central group, which are
Each of the four rotors is shifted rearward with respect to the traveling direction A,
All the rotors of the central group are arranged substantially in a row. Central group
Not all rotors 5 pivot to the transport position. Special features of the central group
Only two rotors 5 pivot upward about their respective pivots 22. Axis 22 is
It extends substantially horizontally and substantially parallel to the traveling direction A.
The center group is attached to the main frame 3 via, for example, a parallelogram hinge bar structure.
So that the central group is substantially parallel to itself and a sufficient distance away.
Then move further upward to take the transport position. Align the central longitudinal axis of the agricultural machine 1
A little distance from the main frame 3 to be formed,
The arm 6 has a pivot 23 extending substantially horizontally and a substantially horizontal and traveling direction A
A pivot 24 is provided which is oriented parallel (relative to the working position). Plus each side glue
Between the two outer rotors 5 and the two inner rotors 5 of the loop
Two substantially parallel pivots 25 and 26 extending substantially parallel (relative to the
It is arranged at intervals.
Each side group is forward about the pivot 23 and about the pivot 24 from the working position.
And the two outer rotors 5 of each side group are centered on pivots 25 and 26
Around 90 degrees around each of the pivots 23, 24, 25, 26.
Is performed. Instead, for example, as in the embodiment shown in FIG.
All rotors extend substantially horizontally in the working position and substantially perpendicular to the direction of travel A.
It is also possible to pivot about one pivot axis. Rotor 5 is phase
Other alternatives pivoting with respect to one another are likewise possible. In the embodiment shown in FIGS.
The drive for the central group is separate from the drive for the side group,
Obviously, it is desirable to branch off from the central drive.
The present invention also relates to the number of rotors, the method of turning the rotors, and the mutual arrangement of the rotors.
Combining one or more means of two or more embodiments as described and / or illustrated.
Combinations are also intended.
When using this agricultural machine as a tedder, the working areas of the rotors overlap each other.
It is desirable to match. However, the rotor 5 may be designed as a rake member,
If so, leave some time between each work area. The agricultural machine 1 also
It can also be used as a halo for such as-. Agricultural machinery is designed as a tedda
The pair of side-by-side rotors rotate in opposite directions, as indicated by the arrows in FIG.
Turn over. However, other directions of rotation are possible in other applications. About turning, about
A rotation angle of 90 degrees is preferred, but smaller or larger angles, such as about 180
Degrees are possible as well.
