Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ビデオ情報を索引付けすることを容易にする手法によって前記ビデオ情報 を分かりやすく表示するための方法であって、 連続的なビデオストリーム(stream)を複数のビデオ情景に分割ステップであっ て、前記ビデオ情景の各々は、1つのキーフレームを含む1以上のビデオフレー ムを含むステップ を備える方法であって、さらに、 情景内運動解析を用いて、前記複数の情景の少なくとも1つを1以上のレイヤ ーに分割するステップと、 モザイクとして、前記複数の情景の少なくとも1つを表示するステップと、 レイヤーまたは情景の少なくとも1つについて、内容に関連する(content-re lated)1以上の外観属性を計算するステップと、 前記内容に関連する外観属性または前記モザイク表示をデータベースに保存す るステップと のうち少なくとも1つのステップを備える方法。 2.選択された情景は背景レイヤーおよび前景レイヤーに分割され、前記選択 された情景のモザイク表示が2次元のモザイク表示を備える請求項1に記載の方 法。 3.保存ユニットに前記複数の情景を保存するステップと、 データベースの問い合わせに応答して、前記データベースの問い合わせにおい て定義された1以上の所望の属性に関係づけられる情景を検索するステップと をさらに備える請求項1に記載の方法。 4.前記モザイク表示は、2次元のモザイク、3次元のモザイクおよびモザイ クのネットワークのうちの1つを備える請求項3に記載の方法。 5.情景のレイヤーについて内容に基づく外観属性を計算する前記ステップは 、 前記レイヤーの画像ピラミッドを生成するステップと、 前記内容に基づく外観属性に関係づけられる1以上のフィルターを用いて、前 記画像ピラミッドの各サブバンドをフィルターにかけて各サブバンドに関係づけ られるそれぞれ1以上の特徴マップを作成するステップと、 それぞれの各サブバンドに関係づけられる前記1以上の特徴マップを統合する ステップであって、前記属性ピラミッドのサブバンドの各々は、対応する画像ピ ラミッドのサブバンドに関係づけられる、内容に基づく外観属性のサブバンドを 備えるステップと を備える請求項1に記載の方法。 6.前記内容に基づく外観属性は、輝度属性、色彩属性、およびテクスチャー 属性のうちの少なくとも1つを備える請求項5に記載の方法。 7.前記フィルターするステップは、さらに、 各サブバンドに関係づけられる前記1以上の特徴マップの各々を整流するステ ップ を備える請求項5に記載の方法。 8.内容に基づく外観属性を作成するために前記属性ピラミッドのサブバンド をたたみこむステップ をさらに備える請求項5に記載の方法。 9.内容に関連する所望の外観属性に実質的に一致するビデオ情報についての 要求を受け取るステップと、 前記内容に関連する所望の外観属性に実質的に一致する内容に関連する外観属 性に関係づけられる少なくとも1つのレイヤーを有するビデオフレームまたは情 景を検索するステップと を備える請求項1に記載の方法。 10.要求を受け取る前記ステップは、 問い合わせの形式および問い合わせの内訳を識別するステップであって、前記 問い合わせのタイプは輝度、色彩、およびテクスチャーの問い合わせの形式のう ちの1つを備え、前記問い合わせの内訳は前記識別された問い合わせの形式の所 望の特性を定義するステップと、 前記識別された問い合わせの形式に関係づけられる所定のフィルターの形式を 選択するステップと、 前記所定のフィルターの形式および前記所望の特性を用いて、所望の内容に関 連する外観属性を、前記所望の内容に関連する外観属性が前記データベースに保 存された前記所望の内容に関連する外観属性と比較するために適するように計算 するステップと を備える請求項9に記載の方法
