Description of the Related Art There are various causes of rust, but the most common one is that, for example, iron and iron products come into contact with air containing moisture, and air and carbon dioxide dissolve into the moisture adhering to these surfaces. In these cases, the surface is oxidized by these actions to generate iron rust (black rust (ferrous hydroxide) and red rust (ferric hydroxide)). Rust gradually progresses from the surface to the inside, causing corrosion.

It has also been used. In this case, a steel material or the like is put in a bag or the like formed of a film or the like made of the above-described composition, and contact with the outside air is shut off by heat-sealing the opened portion, and the organic amine and the like are gradually removed in the bag. The rust-preventing action is exhibited by being adsorbed on the metal surface which is vaporized (naturally vaporized in the atmosphere). Although this method is preferable from the viewpoint of rust preventive effect, organic amines as rust preventive agents are often toxic and have a strong vaporization property. It is harmless and easy to handle because it is difficult to handle in terms of safety and health, and because it is more expensive,
In addition, an inexpensive rust inhibitor has been demanded.

An object of the present invention is to provide a metal rust-preventive polymer composition and a method for preventing metal rust. The present inventors have conducted intensive studies to achieve the above object, and as a result, are safe substances listed in the food additive list, do not generate harmful gases at the time of processing or use of molded articles, and naturally occur in Japan. Since it is produced in large quantities, it has been found that slaked lime, which is an inexpensive material, has an excellent rust-preventing effect when mixed with a polymer, and the present invention has been completed.

Is produced by kneading the polymer in a molten state with slaked lime and granulating into a pellet, but the method for producing the composition is not particularly limited. Slaked lime is 0.02 to 100 parts by weight of polymer
Used in a proportion of 50 parts by weight. If the amount is too small, the rust-preventing effect cannot be obtained, and if the amount is too large, the rust-preventing effect is saturated and uneconomical. Preferably it is 1 to 20 parts by weight.
