突起部を有する弁体案内とこの弁体案内に上下動自在に
収納されて前記の大空気孔弁座を開閉する遊動弁体とか
ら成る空気弁において、前記の底部に貫通部を設け、上
方から力を加えたときに前記の入口と前記の貫通部の下
面から離れてこれら入口と貫通部を開通し、この力を加
えないと前記の入口と前記の貫通部の下面に密着してこ
れら入口と貫通部を閉鎖するように構成した逆止弁をこ
の入口の下側に設け、弁体案内の側壁の外側と前記の突
起部を切り欠いて上下に通じる溝を設け、前記の蓋の大
空気孔弁座の外方にこの蓋を貫通する貫通穴を設け、こ
の貫通穴の内面に雌ねじを設け、この雌ねじにねじ込ま
れて前記の溝と前記の貫通部を経て前記の逆止弁に至る
押棒を設け、前記の貫通穴からの水漏れを防ぐための水
封構造を設け、前記の取り付け用フランジを前記の底部
よりも上方に位置させてこの取り付け用フランジを水道
管の垂立管の先端の管フランジに取り付けたときにこの
取り付け用フランジより下方の弁箱部分を垂立管内に水
没し、使用時には前記の押棒を前記の蓋の上方から回転
することによってこの押棒を下方に推進させて前記の逆
止弁を前記の入口と前記の貫通部の下面から離れさせて
これら入口と貫通部を開通させ、補修時にはこの押棒を
