Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a folding container quite high when the same is assembled in a box shape and compact when it is folded. SOLUTION: In forming this folding container, a pair of first side panels 2 mounted rotatively on a pair of facing sides of a rectangular bottom panel 1 and a pair of second side panels 3 mounted rotatively on the other pair of facing sides are folded in a condition where the side panel 3 are folded on the first side panels 2 folded, and after the side panels 2 are raised, the side panels 3 are raised for forming a box shape. It is so set that either or both pairs of the side panels 2 and the side panels 3 superimpose in a folded condition. The height of the rotating pivot position of the side panels forming a pair and superimposing is the same, and the superimposed part 15 of each side panel forming a pair and superimposing in a folded condition is made thinner than the part where the side panels are not superimposing.

2. Description of the Related Art Folding in which a long side plate is rotatably mounted on a long side of a rectangular bottom plate and a short side plate is rotatably mounted on a short side of a rectangular bottom plate. Containers are known. For example, Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 63-11772
Japanese Patent Publication No. 5 discloses a folding container of this type. The conventional example disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 63-117725 is as shown in FIG. 13. In the folded state, the paired short side plates 3a are in horizontal contact with the upper surface of the bottom plate 1 in a horizontal state. In addition, the pair of long side plates 2a are folded so as to overlap with the upper surface of the short side plate 3a in a horizontal state.
For this reason, the bulk in the folded state can be reduced.

In the above conventional example, the length in the direction orthogonal to the long side of the long side plate 2a (that is, the length in the height direction of the long side plate 2a) is short in the bottom plate 1. The length of the short side side plate 3a in the direction perpendicular to the short side direction (that is, the length in the height direction of the short side side plate 3a) is shorter than approximately 1 / 2a of the length of the side side. Approximately 1 / 2a of the length of the long side of 1
It can be folded compactly as described above, but the height when assembled in a box shape is low (that is, the depth is shallow), the storage amount is small,
In addition, when a tall storage item is placed, there is a problem that the folding container assembled in a box shape protrudes upward from the upper opening, and the folding containers cannot be stacked vertically in the stored state.

[0004] Therefore, the height when assembled in a box shape (that is, the depth is deep), the storage amount is large, and
For example, the length of the long side of the side plate 2a in the direction orthogonal to the long side of the side plate 2a is set to be longer than about 1 / 2a of the length of the short side of the bottom plate 1 so that the tall items can be stored. It is conceivable that it is. In the figure, reference numeral 9 denotes a horizontal shaft portion for pivoting the side plate 2a on the long side, and the heights of the horizontal shaft portions 9 on both sides in the figure are at the same level.

In this case, as shown in FIGS. 12A (a) and 12 (b), the paired long side plates 2a overlap each other in a folded state, and the overlapping long side plates 2a overlap each other.
5 and the non-overlapping portions also have the same thickness, which increases the folding height shown by H in FIG. 12A, and increases the bulk when transported in a folded state or when stored in a folded state. Problem.

It is conceivable that the pivotal position of the side plate on one long side and the pivotal position of the side plate 2a on the other long side are set at different heights, which is indicated by the above H. Although the folding height can be reduced, the length of the side plate 2a on one long side is longer than the side plate 2a on the other long side in the height direction, and the side plates 2a on both long sides can be formed by the same mold. In addition, even in the case of folding, the side plate 2a on the longer side having the longer length in the height direction is first tilted, and then the side plate 2a on the longer side having the shorter length in the height direction is tilted. The folding order of the side plates 2a on both long sides is determined so as to be superimposed on it, and if the folding order of the side plates 2a on the long sides is reversed, they cannot be folded. Moreover, it is not practical in terms of operability.

In order to achieve the above object, a folding container according to the present invention comprises a pair of first side plates 2 rotatably mounted on a pair of opposite sides of a rectangular bottom plate 1, respectively. And a pair of second side plates 3 rotatably attached to the other pair of sides to be folded in a state where the pair of first side plates 2 is laid down and the pair of second side plates 3 is laid down. And a pair of first side plates 2 is erected after the second side plate 3 is erected, and is assembled in a box shape, wherein one of the pair of first side plates 2 to the pair of second side plates 3 is provided. The pair or both pairs are set to overlap in the folded state, and the height of the pivotal support position of the overlapping pair of side plates is the same, and the side plates forming the overlapping pair in the folded state are The overlapping portion 15 is made thinner than other non-overlapping portions of the side plate. It is an. With such a configuration, even though the side plates to be paired overlap each other, they overlap at a portion thinner than the other portions of the side plates, so the height of the folding container in the state of being assembled in a box shape is reduced. The height can be increased and the bulk in the folded state can be reduced. Moreover, despite the reduced bulk of the folded container in the folded state, the height of the pivotal support position of the overlapping pair of side plates is set to the same height position, and the same as the overlapping pair of side plates. It can be used even if it is molded with a mold, and it can be folded even if any of the two side plates that are paired at the time of folding is tilted first. It can also be.

The folding container is of a type in which the bottom plate 1 has a rectangular shape and becomes a rectangle in a plan view when folded and becomes a rectangular box in a plan view when assembled in a box shape, and the bottom plate 1 has a square shape. There is a type that becomes a square in a plan view when folded and a box in a square shape when assembled in a box shape. In the present invention, any of the above types of folding containers may be used. The accompanying drawings show an embodiment in which the bottom plate 1 has a rectangular shape. Hereinafter, a case where the bottom plate 1 is rectangular will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10. In the following description, the first side plate 2 is described as a long side plate 2a, and the second side plate 3 is described as a short side side plate 3a.

The side plate 2a on the long side has a length in a direction perpendicular to the long side of the bottom plate 1 that is substantially equal to or more than half the length of the short side of the bottom plate 1, and is turned and folded. In this case, the paired long side plates 2a partially overlap each other. Further, in the embodiment of the accompanying drawings, the length of the short side side plate 3a in the direction orthogonal to the short side of the bottom plate 1 is shorter than approximately 1/2 of the length of the long side of the bottom plate 1. In a case where the side plates 3a are rotated and folded, the paired short side plates 3a do not overlap with each other.

The height position of the horizontal axis portion 9a is set as follows. That is, one of the side plates 2a on both long sides is first tilted, and the long side plate 2a that has been tilted earlier is tilted so as to be lower toward the distal end side, and the side plates on the long side are also tilted. 2a is brought into contact with the upper surface of the bottom plate 1;
Next, when the other side plate 2a on the other long side is turned down, the relation is such that the side plate 2a on the long side that is turned down later comes into surface contact with the side plate 2a on the long side that was turned down first and overlaps. The height position of the horizontal axis portion 9a is set so that Therefore, the height position of the horizontal axis portion 9a that satisfies the above conditions is set to be different depending on the thickness of the long side plate 2a and the length in the height direction.

When folded as described above, the distal ends of the long side plates 2a overlap each other, but the overlapping portion 15 of the distal end of the long side plate 2a is Side plate 2
It is thinner than the non-overlapping part of a. In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, the inner surface of the overlapping portion 15 at the tip (upper end) of the side plate 2 a on the long side is stepped to form the stepped portion 10, so that the overlapping portion 15 is made smaller than other portions. It is formed thin. Here, in the embodiment shown in the attached drawings, the thinned overlapping portion is reinforced by providing more reinforcing ribs 16 than other portions of the long side plate 2a, and the strength of the thinned portion is increased. Is prevented from decreasing. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the base of the step portion 10 formed on the inner surface of the overlapping portion at the tip of the side plate 2a is an inclined portion 10a. This is because when the step 10 is formed at the upper end of the inner surface of the side plate 2a,
Since the stored items may be caught on the base of the step portion 10 when the stored items are inserted into the inside when the container is assembled and used as a folding container, the base of the step portion 10 is formed as an inclined portion 10a made of an inclined surface or an inclined rib. (In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the inclined portion 10a is constituted by the inclined surface), so that the stored items are not caught.

Here, when folding the box-shaped folded container, first, one of the paired long-side side plates 2a is turned and turned down to turn the one long-side side plate 2a. A part of the side plate 2a is in contact with the upper surface of the bottom plate 1 in a state where the side plate 2a is inclined. Next, the other side plate 2a on the other long side is turned and tilted to turn the other side plate 2a on the other long side.
a is overlapped with one of the long side plates 2a which is tilted obliquely by first tilting a part thereof. In this case, since the overlapping portion 15 between the long side plates 2a is thinner than other portions of the long side plate 2a, the height required for the overlap can be reduced, and the folded container is folded accordingly. Can be reduced in bulk.

Here, in the embodiment shown in FIG.
At least the side plates 2a on the long sides are in contact with each other at the distal end A and the base B of the overlapping portion 15, and at least the distal end A and the base B are in contact with each other at the overlapping portion 15 so as to overlap. Even when a load is applied from above, the load can be reliably received. In FIG. 1, the base plate 2 of the overlapping portion 15 of the side plate 2 a on the long side is gradually thicker than the front end portion b.
The thickness of the overlapping portion is changed, and in this way, in a state where the long side plates 2a constituting the pair are folded down, the long side plates 2a are overlapped in the vertical and horizontal directions in the vertical and horizontal directions. And are in surface contact with each other. Here, the term “surface contact” refers not only to the case where the surfaces are in contact with each other and overlaps, but also to the case where vertical or horizontal ribs or lattice-like ribs are formed in the vertical and horizontal directions of one side and the other side plate on the long side. Vertical or horizontal ribs or lattice-shaped ribs when the surface and vertical or horizontal ribs or lattice-shaped ribs are in contact with the surface, or when the vertical or horizontal ribs or lattice-shaped ribs formed in the longitudinal direction and the horizontal direction of the long side plate 2a May be in contact with each other, and in any case, the long-sided side plates 2a that form a pair overlap each other in the vertical and horizontal directions of the long-sided side plates 2a.

On the other hand, in order to assemble the container into a box shape for using the folding container, first, the both side plates 3a on the short side that are horizontally lying are turned upright, and then fall down in an overlapping state. Of the side plates 2a on the long side, the upper side plate 2a on the upper side is turned upright, and then the remaining lower side plate 2a is turned upright as shown in FIG. As a box. In this box-like assembled state, the long side plate 2a is prevented from falling outside in the standing state by receiving and supporting both ends of the long side plate 2a in the standing state with the support projections 4. It has become. In the embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings, the support projections 4 also serve as the locking means 6, and the locking means 6 provided at both ends of the short-side side plate 3a in the state of being assembled in a box shape have long lengths. In this manner, the folding container is assembled in a box shape, and the stored items are stored and transported in the box shape.
It is stored, but in the above embodiment,
Since the length of the side plate 2a on the long side in the direction orthogonal to the long side of the bottom plate 1 is set to be about half or more of the length of the short side of the bottom plate 1, folding in a box-shaped assembly is performed. The bulk of the container can be made higher and the depth can be increased, so that a large amount of storage can be stored, and even a bulky storage can be stored so that it does not protrude from the upper opening of the folding container. And there is no problem even if folding containers are stacked one on top of the other.

In the above embodiment, the side plate 3a on the shorter side than the height position of the pivot portion of the side plate 2a on the longer side.
In the above example, the height of the pivot portion is set higher, but the side plate 2 on the longer side than the height position of the pivot portion of the shorter side plate 3a is shown.
The height position of the pivot portion of a may be increased.
In this case, prior to folding, first, the side plates 3a on both short sides are turned to be tilted in a horizontal state to be stacked on the bottom plate 1, and then one of the side plates 2a on the long sides is turned down. A part thereof abuts on the short-side side plate 3a, and then the remaining other long-side side plate 2a is turned and lowered, whereby a part of the long-side side plate 2a, which has been tilted first, is brought forward. To make surface contact on the surface. In any of the above embodiments,
The length of the short side plate 3a in the direction orthogonal to the short side of the bottom plate 1 is set to a length shorter than substantially half of the length of the long side of the bottom plate 1, and the short pair formed when folded. Although the example in which the side plates 3a on the side sides are configured not to overlap with each other has been described, the length of the short side plate 3a in the direction orthogonal to the short side of the bottom plate 1 is defined as the length of the bottom plate 1.
The length may be longer than approximately 1/2 of the length of the long side, so that the side plates 3a on the short side that are paired when folded are partially overlapped. In this case, the overlapping portion 15 of the side plate 3a on the short side constituting the pair in the folded state is
By making it thinner than the non-overlapping part and making the thinned part overlap, it is possible to reduce the height required for the overlapping of the short side side plates 3a. By doing in this way, the bulk of the folding container in the state of being assembled in a box shape can be made higher and the depth becomes deeper, so that a larger amount of storage items can be stored, and the bulky storage item is Can be stored so as not to protrude from the upper opening of the foldable container, and there is no problem even if the foldable containers are stacked up and down.

FIG. 11A shows another embodiment of the present invention. That is, in the present embodiment, the tip portions are overlapped in a state where the paired side plates (the side plate 2a on the long side in the attached drawings) are folded, and the overlapping portion 15 does not overlap the side plates. It is the same as in the previous embodiment that the base portion of the overlapping portion 15 is thicker than the tip portion, but in addition to this, a part of the non-overlapping portion of the side plate Alternatively, the whole is configured so as to gradually become thinner toward the overlapping portion 15 side, and further thinned continuously toward the overlapping portion 15. In this case, there is no need to form the step portion 10 when the overlapping portion 15 is made thinner as in the above-described embodiment, and it is possible to prevent the storage portion from being caught by the step portion 10 when the storage object is inserted.

FIG. 11B shows still another embodiment of the present invention. In each of the above-described embodiments, a pair of side plates (a long side plate 2 in the attached drawings) is used.
In the example shown in FIG. 11B, the side plates abut at least at the distal end and the base of the overlapping portion 15 when the distal ends overlap with each other in the folded state of FIG. Is an embodiment in which the side plates are in contact with each other in a part of the overlapping portion 15. Further, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 11B, an inclined portion 10a is formed at the base of the step portion 10 on the inner surface of the side plate (in FIG. 11B,
Since the inclined portion 10a is constituted by an inclined rib), the stored portion can be prevented from being caught by the base of the step portion 10 when the stored item is inserted.

In each of the above-described embodiments, when the overlapping portion 15 of the side plate is made thinner than the other portion of the side plate which does not overlap, the inner surface of the side plate is made thinner by being settled or inclined. Although the embodiment is shown, as shown in FIG. 11C, in making the overlapping portion 15 of the side plate thinner than the other portion of the side plate that does not overlap, the outer surface side of the side plate is stepped and the step portion 10 is formed. It shows an embodiment that is formed or thinned by making the outer surface side an inclined surface. In this case, the stepped portion 10 is not provided on the inner surface of the side plate in the use state in which the side plate is set up and the inner surface of the side plate 10 is not inclined, so that the stored items are not caught and rattle. It can be stored without.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, as described above, one or both of the pair of the first side plate and the pair of the second side plates are placed in a state where they are tilted. It is set so as to overlap, and the height of the pivotal support position of the overlapping pair of side plates is the same, and the overlapping portion of the pair of side plates overlapping in the folded state does not overlap the side plates. Because it is thinner than the other parts, even though the side plates to be paired overlap each other, it overlaps at the part thinner than the other parts of the side plate, so with a simple configuration that the overlapping part is formed thinner It is possible to increase the height of the folded container in the state of being assembled in a box shape and to reduce the bulk in the folded state, and to increase the height of the assembled folded container by making the side plates overlap when folded. Can this Fruit, is capable of providing a folding container can be reduced distribution costs. Also, despite the reduced volume of the folded container in the folded state, the height of the pivotal support position of the overlapping pair of side plates is the same, so that the same metal plate is used as the overlapping pair of side plates. It can be used even if it is molded in a mold, so that the cost can be reduced, and even if one of the two side plates paired at the time of folding is tilted first, it is folded. It is also possible to adopt a configuration that allows for easy folding.
