溶着固定するとともに若干後方に向け斜設し上部にシー
ト5を取着してある。11は背凭、12は肘掛である。
車台4の前部には左右一対の前輪2,2を設けてあり、
この前輪2,2は、車台4中央を中心に左右揺動自在の
揺動アーム13両端に保持され、所謂センターピポット
方式をなし、路面の凹凸に対応可能に構成してある。
又、前輪2,2は、ハンドル1の回動操作により操舵機
構(図示せず)を介してキングピン14を中心に回動さ
れ操向可能に構成してある。15は操作ボックスであ
り、ハンドル1に中央上部に設けられ、アクセルレバー
16等の操作装置を設けてある。又、ハンドル1の軸1
7は強度上、又、デザイン性を考慮して二本構成とし、
ハンドル1のUの字状下端部と回動調整具18を介して
連結してある。19はフロントバスケット、20は前照
灯である。後輪3,3は、モータやバッテリー等からな
る駆動機構等(図示せず)により駆動されるものであっ
て、これらを一体のリヤカバー21によって覆ってあ
る。22はフロントカバーであって、前述の前輪操舵機
構やハンドル軸17下部等を覆うものであって、その左
右両側は前輪2,2のフェンダー7,7と一体に形成し
てある。該フェンダー7,7の後面には段落し部23,
23をその全幅に亘って形成してある。シート5と前方
のハンドル1との間の車台4上は樹脂板で覆って搭乗者
用の平床状のステップ6に構成してある。又、このステ
ップ6の前部は上方前方に傾斜延設する前部ステップ2
4と、該前部ステップ24両側から左右に延設され、前
述のフェンダー7,7後面側の段落し部23,23に重
合する補助ステップ8,8とから構成してある。又、該
補助ステップ8は前部ステップ24よりも若干高位に位
置している為、その間を傾斜面25,25で連続形成し
てある。フェンダー7の後面と補助ステップ8の重合部
の夫々外側端には折曲縁26,26を形成するととも
に、両者をボルト等の止具27により連結してある。2
8はステップカバーであり、滑り止め機能と緩衝機能を
有すべくゴム板で構成し、補助ステップ8,8を除くス
テップ6上に設けてある。シート5に着座する搭乗者
は、ハンドル1操作により左右の前輪2,2の向きを調
整しながら、操作ボックス15に設けるアクセルレバー
16等を操作して走行するのであるが、ハンドル軸17
に近い位置まで延設される前部ステップ24、又、該前
部ステップ24両側から左右のフェンダー7,7の後面
上まで延設される補助ステップ8,8の存在により、前
方側と共に幅方向に広くステップ6が拡張され、車体全
長を長くすることなく足元を広くして疲れなく操縦する
ことができる。又、この補助ステップ8,8は、前部ス
テップ24両側からフェンダー7,7後面上に重合させ
て構成するものであるから、その構成が簡単でありなが
ら十分な強度を有する。なお、この補助ステップ8の裏
面側をフレーム等により更に補強してもよい。又、フェ
ンダー7,7の後面側を補助ステップ8,8によって重
合構成するものであるから、広い面積のフェンダー7,
7後面側の材質や色彩の変更を該補助ステップ8,8を
使って容易に行うことができる。
