In the case of the above-mentioned conventional squid head corner 10, the rainwater falling from the surface of the outer wall plate 30 is received on the upper horizontal surface 13, so that the rainwater tends to jump there. It is. Furthermore, when the falling rainwater flows from the upper horizontal surface 13 to the front vertical surface 14, since the two surfaces intersect at 90 degrees, the motion direction changes sharply and swells outward at the intersection. As a result, some parts jump out and fall to the ground. Such a behavior of rainwater gives an image of rejecting unnecessary ones from the inside to the outside, and is not preferable as an image of the rain-closing of the overhang portion.

As described above, the squid head comer 10 is attached by attaching the vertical attachment flat portion 11 between the horizontal trunk 20 and the back surface of the outer wall material 30 and the eave heaven material 23 and the pillar 21. Since the horizontal mounting flat portions 17 are mounted so as to be sandwiched between them, the eave heaven material 23 is attached to the horizontal mounting edge 21 after the vertical mounting flat portion 11 of the squid head corner 10 is mounted. The eaves material 23 must be mounted so as to sandwich the horizontal mounting flat portion 17 which is one mounting end. That is, the mounting time of the eave heaven material 23 is restricted by the mounting operation of the squid head corner 10. In addition, the length of the eaves material 23 must also be determined in consideration of the positional relationship between the squid head corner 10 and the rear vertical surface 16. An object of the present invention is to provide a new overhang member which has solved the above-mentioned inconvenience of a squid head corner as a conventional overhang member.

In the overhang member according to the present invention, when attached to the overhang portion of the building, the rainwater falling from the surface of the outer wall plate to the protruding portion is formed on the upper inclined surface inclined obliquely downward or a curved surface portion following the upper inclined surface. It is received in. In any case, the rainwater fall point is inclined obliquely downward, and the jump of rainwater is greatly suppressed as compared with the case where the rainwater falls on a horizontal plane.

Further, the rainwater that has fallen flows down along the upper inclined surface, goes down along the curved surface formed at the tip thereof, and reaches the lower horizontal surface. From there, it falls to the ground. Since the tip region of the protruding portion of the overhang member is formed as a curved surface, the direction of motion of the rainwater flowing along the overhang member does not change sharply, so that part of the rainwater jumps outward and falls to the ground. Situations are reliably avoided. As a result, the image of the overhang portion after the rain becomes good. Furthermore, the curved surface in the tip region brings out a soft taste, and the appearance design is also improved. The curved surface in the tip region may be a surface having a continuous curvature in a cross-sectional shape, and may be any shape such as a semicircle, a partial circle, an arc, and an ellipse.

[0010] In the overhang member according to the present invention, the rear mounting portion is inclined obliquely upward to the rear surface side. When mounting on the overhang portion, the eave material already mounted on the building side is used. The rear mounting portion is mounted on the lower side such that the front edge is applied. This means that the installation of the eaves can be performed independently of the installation of the eaves and the overhang members, and the installation time of the eaves is not restricted by the work of installing the overhang members, Further, it is possible to avoid that the length of the eave material is limited by the size of the overhang member.

In a preferred aspect, the overhang member according to the present invention includes a step extending in the longitudinal direction near a root portion of the upper inclined surface in the protruding portion. In this aspect, in addition to the design effect of making the deep space gap portion on the upper inclined surface look narrower due to the step, the presence of the step exists even if water leaks through the vertical mounting flat portion. Accordingly, the water leak is smoothly drained together with the rainwater falling along the surface of the outer wall plate.
