Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bamboo zephyr board which is molded irrespective of use or not, of an adhesive by effectively utilizing a trunk of bamboo, leaves other than the trunk and branch parts. SOLUTION: Two kinds of synthetic resins are used for a zephyr 2 produced from a bamboo of a wide range from undryness to dryness. A special yarn 4 synthsized by a core yarn at a high melting point and a crust 6 coating the core yarn at a low melting point, is added by a specific amount and kneaded. When they are heated at a temperature wherein the crust is molten and pressurized on forming, the crust acts as a binder for linking the zephyr to the core yarn to obtain a bamboo zephyr board wherein the core yarn supplements the strength and pliability of the board.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Although the importance of wood in building materials remains unchanged today, advances in building methods and the emergence of new materials are gradually reducing their importance. For example, there are many buildings mainly made of wood, but they are too labor-intensive and expensive and their size is limited, so replacement of prefabricated buildings with metalized main components and standardization for factory production is progressing. Timber used in buildings only paid for part of the building.

[0004] As described above, wood has been provided in various forms as building materials, but the poor reproducibility of wood has made it difficult to obtain and contributed to an increase in cost.
In search of low-cost building materials, bamboo materials, which had previously been limited in use despite good reproductivity, have been reviewed, and with the advancement of production technology, it has become possible to process round bamboo into flat plates. It has begun to be recognized as an alternative building material to some wood products.

Although bamboo is superior in reproducibility to wood, many types of bamboo have a hollow cross-sectional shape, and their diameter and length are narrower and shorter than wood. It has the negative factor of being big. For this reason, even if a thick and long bamboo is suitable for a material for development, the rest except for the material portion and a large number of bamboos are not suitable for the material, and the application is still limited.

Zephyr is mainly made of bamboo trunks ranging from undried to dry, excluding knotlings and internodes. If a long bamboo is processed with a grooved roller, continuous reticulated fibers can be collected, but cutting is required. Therefore, short fibers are directly obtained by crushing and crushing short bamboo previously selected from the range of 10 to 100 mm, preferably 10 to 70 mm.
The Zephyr is stirred and mixed to interlace the fibers more randomly, and then heated indirectly with steam or hot air, or directly heated with high frequency or microwave, and then pressurized to obtain a required shape.

In the case of producing Zephyr from undried or almost undried bamboo, vascular glues such as hemicellulose and lignin contained by heating exude to the surface to serve as a binder, and the adhesive is used. It can be formed into a board without using it. By adjusting the amount of the Zephyr and the pressure, it is possible to easily manufacture a board corresponding to hardness and density ranging from a particle board in which wood chips are compressed or an M, D, F board to an uncompressed heat insulating material such as glass wool.

When Zephyr is produced from bamboo in a dry or nearly dry range, oozing of the contents by heating cannot be expected at all or sufficiently. Therefore, a synthetic resin melted at a desired heating temperature when kneading Zephyr is used. Select the fiber yarn, and the volume ratio is 5
When added in the range of 50%, preferably in the range of 5 to 20%, the yarn melted by heating acts as a binder, and the zephyrs can be fixed to each other by pressing to form a board. For example, polyethylene yarn can be used at a lower heating temperature.

A single-material yarn changes its shape by melting and can only play the role of a binder. However, at least two types of synthetic resins are used, and a high melting point is applied to the core yarn and the outer shell that covers the core yarn has a low melting point. When the heating operation is performed at a temperature at which the outer skin melts using the special yarn, the outer skin acts as a binder connecting the Zephyr and the core yarn, and the core yarn supplements the strength and flexibility of the board. It has an ineffective effect.
For example, in a special yarn in which the core yarn is polypropylene and the outer skin is polyethylene, polyethylene melts.

In order to form the desired shape after kneading the Zephyr, a set mold is used. If the required pattern is formed by protruding on the surface of the mold, the pattern can be transferred to the surface at the same time as the board is formed by the operation of heating and pressing, so it is easy to manufacture a board with many dents or through holes on the surface it can. Such patterns need only be considered in terms of mold removal, and various patterns can be formed on the board surface. When Zephyr has a trunk as a main component, the color of the molding surface is white, so that the surface is colored with a paint as necessary.

Embodiment 1 FIGS. 1A and 1B show enlarged cross-sections of a side surface and a part of a board made of Zephyr. In the step of obtaining Zephyr 2 in FIG. 2B, the bamboo as a raw material is lengthened, rolled on a roller and rolled to form a Zephyr, and then a suitable length is obtained.
It is sliced into shorter lengths, the circumference is divided into small pieces, and the pieces are crushed into a reticular fiber. The thickness and length of the fibers after being made into zephyr are easy to make uniform in the former, but difficult to make uniform in the latter. However, there is an advantage that kneading is difficult even if the fiber is too long, and the cost is not increased in terms of equipment.

The bamboo zephyr board according to the present invention has the following effects. Zephyr, obtained from undried bamboo, has its own material act as a binder, eliminating the need for a separate adhesive. In zephyr obtained from bamboo ranging from undried to dried, the yarn of the added synthetic resin fiber acts as a binder, eliminating the need for a separate adhesive. The special yarn of two kinds of synthetic resin was used to supplement the strength and flexibility of the board. The addition of chips with crushed leaves and branches allows the molding surface to be patterned with the leaves and branches, making it possible to color the leaves at the heating temperature, thus creating a use as a cosmetic material. The hardness and density were changed by adjusting the amount of heat and pressure, and the various boards with various properties such as elasticity, heat retention, sound absorption and cushioning were obtained. The use of bamboo leaves and branches also contributed to the effective use of bamboo. With its water-absorbing function, it has expanded its applications beyond the construction field. Recycling or disposal after use has become easier.
