2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional telephone, a charging current supply terminal in a charging holder is electrically connected to a charging terminal of the mobile telephone by simply mounting the mobile telephone on a desktop charging holder. The charging terminal is electrically connected directly to the terminal of the rechargeable battery because the terminal is exposed outside the housing and the voltage of the rechargeable battery is low so that there is no risk of electric shock. Therefore, in a normal use state, the voltage of the rechargeable battery is directly applied to the charging terminal exposed outside the housing of the mobile phone.

A portable telephone is often carried in a pocket of a user's clothes. In this case, especially in summer, the user may sweat and moisture and salt may adhere to the mobile phone. Generally, a mobile phone has a transmitter at one end and a receiver at the other end, an antenna protruding from the housing on the receiver side, and a charging terminal and other terminals on the transmitter side. It has a structure in which a connector for transmitting a signal or data to a device is provided. The connector is installed in the housing and a cover is provided,
This cover is normally closed except when connecting other devices. Therefore, the user often stores the mobile phone in the pocket with the receiver side with the antenna facing up, that is, with the charging terminal down so that the mobile phone can be stably stored in the pocket. On the other hand, the charging terminal was exposed outside the housing of the mobile phone, and the voltage of the rechargeable battery was applied as it was. If the user sweats a lot in this state, the inside of the pocket becomes wet with high temperature and humidity, and the rechargeable battery is discharged through moisture or salt attached to the end where the charging terminal of the mobile phone is located. In some cases, the continuous talk time or continuous standby time may be reduced earlier. This discharge is a very weak current and does not affect the user's body.

As shown in FIG. 1, a battery chamber 70c for housing the rechargeable battery 2 is formed in the case 70 on the case 70b side. The battery compartment 70c is formed with an opening for attaching and detaching the rechargeable battery 2, and the battery compartment lid 3 is detachably attached to this opening. In the present embodiment, the battery chamber cover 3 is formed separately from the rechargeable battery 2. This allows the rechargeable battery 2 to be used when a plurality of colors of the housing 70 are prepared as an assortment, or when a different mark or carrier name is displayed on the battery compartment cover 3 for each communication carrier (carrier) to be delivered. It can be dealt with by changing the battery chamber lid 3 to match the color of the housing 70 or to the specifications of the carrier in common.
Even if a large number of rechargeable batteries 2 are charged in advance, flexibility can be easily used, and productivity is improved.

An antenna 10 is provided on the receiver 90 side of the housing 70.
0 is provided to protrude from the housing, and a connector 110 for transmitting a signal or data to the charging terminal 4 and another device (hereinafter, peripheral device (not shown)) is provided on the transmitter 80 side.
The connector 110 is mounted on the circuit board 60 and installed in the housing 70. The connector 110 is provided with a cover 70d for protecting an electrical connection portion, and the cover 70d is normally closed except when a peripheral device is connected. On the other hand, the charging terminal 4 is disposed at the end of the case 70 on the transmitter 80 side, and is exposed outside the case 70 via the opening 70 f of the case 70 b and the opening 3 a of the battery compartment cover 3. As shown in FIG. 4, the charging terminal 4 is electrically connected to a power supply terminal 12 for the rechargeable battery 2 via a charging circuit 10 having a backflow prevention function and a protection function. As shown in FIG. 2, the power supply terminal 12 is exposed in the battery compartment 70c through an opening 70h facing the battery compartment 70c of the case 70b, and when the rechargeable battery 2 is mounted in the battery compartment 70c. The electrical connection is obtained by contacting the terminal 2a of the rechargeable battery 2. The charging circuit 10 includes a diode and a current limiting circuit or a voltage limiting circuit, and has a backflow prevention function and a protection function. Thus, when the user places the mobile phone in the pocket with the receiver side with the antenna facing up, that is, with the charging terminal down, the user sweats and moisture and salt are removed from the mobile phone. Since the voltage of the rechargeable battery 2 is not applied to the charging terminal 4 even if it adheres to the battery, discharge of the rechargeable battery 2 due to moisture or salt can be prevented.
