Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for photographing the grounded shape of a tire during travel of a vehicle on a wet road surface ensuring that the grounded shape and the behavior of the tire can be observed by projecting images clearly. SOLUTION: When the grounded shape 8 of the tire 7 traveling on a transparent plate 3 having a water film is photographed from beneath the transparent plate 3, a water film 6 of an aqueous solution wherein the concentration of a white (N9) or reddish yellow (hue signs of 7YR to less than 2Y, lightness value of 5 or more, saturation value of 4 or more) or yellow (hue signs of 2Y to less than 6Y, lightness value of 6 or more, saturation value of 4 or more) pigment is 2 to 10 wt.% is formed on the transparent plate 3 and the tire 7 is caused to travel on the transparent plate 3 coated with the water film 6 of the aqueous solution mixed with the pigment; the grounded shape 8 of the tire is photographed from beneath by a video camera 4.

2. Description of the Related Art When observing a tire contact shape when a vehicle is running on a wet road surface, the tire is generally run on a transparent plate having a water film, and a ground contact portion of the tire is placed below the transparent plate with a video camera. For example, there is a method of photographing.
However, since this method cannot shield external light such as sunlight coming from outside, it is installed below the transparent plate when photographing the tire contact shape on the transparent plate having the water film. The light from the illuminated lighting device loses to the external light, so that the image of the tire contact portion becomes dark and the contour of the contact portion becomes unclear, which makes it extremely difficult to observe.

As a method for solving this problem, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No.
JP-A-128196 discloses an apparatus for photographing the ground contact shape of a tire running on a transparent plate having a water film from below the transparent plate.
There has been proposed a method in which a water film having a thickness of 4 to 6 mm is formed from an aqueous solution mixed with 40% by weight, and an image of a tire contact shape when the vehicle is running is taken on the transparent plate.

[0004] As described above, in the method of observing the tire contact shape using an aqueous solution mixed with milk, while the tire is black, the milk mixed water film is emulsified white, so that external light is not reflected. There is an advantage that the contour of the tire grounding portion becomes clear by cutting off and the shape can be easily observed.

[0005] However, an aqueous solution containing milk is a white opaque liquid in which protein is a suspended colloid, and fat contained in milk is a fat globule and is emulsified. In the water film, the scattered proteins and fats cause stains and give off a foul smell on the vehicle, so it was necessary to wash the vehicle and the transparent plate immediately after photographing. In addition, it is more difficult to use the aqueous solution mixed with milk for a long time because it solidifies and precipitates on the transparent plate, and the contour of the tire contact area becomes unclear, making it difficult to observe the shape. there were.

Therefore, when photographing the tire contact shape when the vehicle is running, the effect of shielding external light such as sunlight is rich, the image is clear, and the contour of the tire contact portion can be distinguished from the non-contact portion. It becomes clear and does not pollute the vehicle or the photographing device even if left for a while after shooting, does not make stains or emit an unpleasant odor, and also allows long-term observation of the condition of the tire contacting part at deep water depth An object of the present invention is to provide a shape photographing method.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The present invention uses a water film made of an aqueous solution containing a mixture of white or reddish yellow or a yellow pigment described in JIS Z 8102, for example, with respect to the black color of a tire. An imaging method is provided in which the contour of the tire contact shape when the vehicle is running is clear. In addition, the pigment has the advantage that it can be easily washed without polluting a vehicle or a photographing device even if it is left for a long time after being scattered, and does not stain or emit an unpleasant odor.
Since it can be used up to a thick water film, it can be applied to studless tires and truck tires having deep grooves.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows a photographing apparatus 1 used in a method of photographing a tire contact shape during running of a vehicle according to the present invention. The imaging device 1 forms a water film 6 of an aqueous solution containing a pigment on a transparent plate 3 through which a vehicle 2 can pass. The concentration of the pigment in the aqueous solution used at this time is suitably 2 to 10% by weight, more preferably 4 to 8% by weight. The concentration of the pigment in the aqueous solution refers to the amount of a pigment commercially available as a raw material, that is, a solid contained in water, expressed in terms of% by weight.

Next, the photographing apparatus 1 configured as described above
A method of photographing the tire contact shape 8 when the vehicle is traveling using the method will be described. The vehicle 2 is caused to travel on the transparent plate 3, and the video camera 4 photographs the ground contact shape 8 of the tire 7 from below, and observes the contact shape 8 of the tire 7 and its behavior. At this time, the water film 6 is JIS Z8 while the tire 7 is black.

On the other hand, if it exceeds 10% by weight, the color of the aqueous solution becomes dark, and the image of the tire contact shape becomes dark and difficult to recognize.

The thickness T of the water film 6 is suitably from 5 to 25 mm, but is particularly preferably from 10 to 20 mm. When the thickness of the water film is less than 5 mm, the effect of blocking external light is weakened, and it is difficult to obtain a clear image. On the other hand, if the thickness of the water film exceeds 25 mm, the color of the aqueous solution containing the pigment becomes dark, and the contour of the tire contact portion becomes unclear, which is not suitable for the purpose of the present invention.

The structure of the present invention is as described above, and has the following effects. By using the aqueous solution of the pigment, there is an effect of shielding against external light at the time of photographing the tire contact shape, and the contour of the tire contact shape on the transparent plate having the water film can be clearly observed. Observation accuracy can be improved. In addition, even if the pigment is scattered and left for a long period of time, it may contaminate vehicles and imaging devices,
There is an advantage that it can be easily washed without stains or odor.

Also, since the thickness of the water film of the aqueous solution can be photographed up to about 25 mm, a studless tire having a deep groove has been used only for observing a contact shape of a passenger car tire having a shallow tire pattern groove. Observation of the grounding shape of tires and truck tires becomes possible. In addition, the above-mentioned pigments, such as the yellow color, disperse well in water, so that they do not coagulate, and can be used for a long time without causing precipitation.
