Claims (2)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 エアーバッグの膨張展開に伴って裂断可
能な破断部を設けた帯状の布部材をエアーバッグの片側
面に片端末で止着固定し、その布部材を端末止着した反
対側の側面よりインフレータの固定軸をエアーバッグの
外部に突出させてインフレータをエアーバッグの取付け
基部に設けた挿入口より内部に組み付け、このエアーバ
ッグのバッグ本体をインフレータから発生するガス圧で
膨張展開可能に折り畳んでインフレータを含むバッグ全
体を該布部材で包み込むと共に、その布部材の自由端を
インフレータの固定軸に掛け止めて組み立てるエアーバ
ッグ装置において、 布部材を片端末の止着側から反対側に回し込んで中腹辺
をインフレータの固定軸に一旦掛け止め、その掛止め個
所から片端末の止着側に折返し反転させて中腹辺をイン
フレータの固定軸に再度掛け止め、エアーバッグの取付
け基部を布部材で二重に包み込むと共に、折り畳まれた
バッグ本体を包み込んで自由端をインフレータの固定軸
に掛止め組み立ててなることを特徴とするエアーバッグ
装置。
