前面ケースで構成される内部スペースをプラズマディス
プレイパネル及びパネル駆動回路が収容される前方スペ
ースと信号処理回路が収容される後方スペースとに分離
し、前記前面ケースに固定される遮蔽板とを備え、前記
前面ケースと前記背面カバー及び前記遮蔽板が共に電磁
波遮蔽効果を有する部材で構成されたプラズマディスプ
レイ装置において、 前記前面ケースの側壁部にはほぼ全域に亘って内側に突
出する突合わせ部を設け、この突合わせ部の一部に切欠
部を設け、この切欠部の位置に対応する前記前面ケース
の側壁部の内側には前記突合わせ部より低い位置に取付
部を設け、前記遮蔽板の突合わせ部を前記前面ケースの
前記突合わせ部に突合わせた状態で前記前面ケースの前
記取付部に当接する取付部を設け、前記遮蔽板と前記前
面ケースとの互いの前記突合わせ部を突合わせた状態で
互いの前記取付部の間をビスで締結し、前記背面カバー
の突合わせ部を前記前面ケースの前記突合わせ部に対し
て前記遮蔽板を介して突合わせた状態で前記背面カバー
の突合わせ部と前記前面カバーの前記突合わせ部との間
をビスで締結したことを特徴とするプラズマディスプレ
イ装置。
