前記プログラムの時間軸方向の分割数を入力することにより1ブロックの再生時間を決定する再生時間決定手段と、1ブロックの再生時間を入力することにより前記プログラムの時間軸方向の分割数を決定する分割数決定手段と、
前記再生時間決定手段及び前記分割数決定手段のうち入力が行なわれた方の手段の決定結果に基づいて多画面表示を行なう制御手段とを具備してなることを特徴とする画像再生装置。

前記制御手段は、前記分割数決定手段で決定された分割数に応じて、多画面表示を複数回に分けて行なうことを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像再生装置。

前記制御手段は、前記プログラムを構成する画像データのうちのフレーム内符号化画像を用いて、前記プログラムを時間軸方向の分割点を設定するとともに、分割された各小画面に動画像を表示させることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の画像再生装置。

プログラムを構成する一連の画像データを、時間軸に沿って複数のブロックに分割し、各ブロックの画像を縮小して同一画面上に同時に多画面表示してそれぞれ再生する画像再生装置において、
前記プログラムの時間軸方向の分割数を入力することにより1ブロックの再生時間を決定する再生時間決定手段と、
この再生時間決定手段の決定結果に基づいて多画面表示を行なう制御手段とを具備してなることを特徴とする画像再生装置。
