Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material sealing water-tightly a joint between the external wall material end faces capable of preventing a seal material filled into a clearance from leaking out from a contact portion between the contact part of a base joint with an external wall material and the rear surface of the external all material. SOLUTION: This joint material for water tightly sealing a joint between external all material end faces comprises a base joint 20 having a recessed groove 24 formed of an external wall material contact part 21 and double side walls 22, having a space forming fin 2 and a hole 28 provided in each of the side walls 22, and having a fin 25 for sealing provided on the external wall material contact part 21 and a top joint 30 having a fitting projected piece 31 and a fin 32. The rear surface 50 of the external wall material is brought into contact with the external wall material contact part 21, and an external wall material end face 50a is brought in to contact with the space forming fin 26 so as to form a space 52, a wet sealing material 40 is filled into the recessed groove 24, the fitting projected piece 31 is fitted to the recessed groove 24, and the sealing material 40 is filled into the space 52 through the hole 28 so as to form the joint material. Thus, the sealing material 40 filled into the space 52 is prevented, by the sealing fin 25, from leaking out from a contact portion between the external wall material contact part 21 and the rear surface 50b of the external wall material.

In the joint material shown in FIG. 7, the sealing material 8 extruded into the space 12 may leak from the contact portion between the joint joiner 1 and the back surface 10a of the outer wall material. If the sealing material 8 leaks, the amount of the sealing material 8 filled in the space 12 becomes insufficient, and the watertightness of the joint is reduced.

[0004] In the joint material shown in Fig. 8, two fins 13 are provided near the outdoor side of the two side walls 2, and the two fins 13 are provided.
Since the space 12 is formed therebetween, the sealing material 8 extruded into the space 12 leaks into the room over one of the fins 13 on the room side. If the sealing material 8 leaks, the amount of the sealing material 8 filled in the space 12 becomes insufficient, and the watertightness of the joint is reduced.

A wet sealing material 40 is filled in the concave groove 24 of the base joint 20. The wet-type sealing material 40 may be filled in a factory in advance, or may be filled at an outer wall mounting work site. Fitting convex piece 31 of top joint 30
Into the concave groove 24 to be fitted. As a result, the sealing material 40 in the concave groove 24 is pushed out of the hole 28 and pushed into the space 52, so that the indoor portion of the joint 51 is made watertight. The fin 32 is pressed against the outer wall material end face 50a, and forms an outdoor outdoor auxiliary space 54 between the outer wall material end face 50a, the side wall 22, and the space forming auxiliary fin 27.

The seal fin 25, which has been pushed and filled into the space 52 on the indoor side, leaks from the contact portion between the outer wall material contact portion 21 and the outer wall material back surface 50b.
Therefore, the space 52 is accurately filled with the sealing material 40 in a predetermined amount, and the joint is improved in watertightness. Since the sealing fins 25 are inclined toward the side wall 22, leakage of the sealing material 40 described above can be more reliably prevented.

That is, the aforementioned two auxiliary spaces 53 and 54
Has a heat insulating function, so that it is difficult for the heat of sunlight to be transmitted to the sealing material 40. Also, the rainwater that has entered from between the fin 32 of the top joint 30 and the end face 50a of the outer wall material flows down from the auxiliary space 54 on the outdoor side, and the rainwater that has not completely flowed down enters the intermediate auxiliary space 53 and flows down. Therefore, rainwater hardly penetrates to the sealing material 40.

The size (volume) of the groove 24 is larger than the size (volume) of each hole 28 + the size (volume) of the space 52. As a result, a larger amount of the sealing material than the space 52 and each of the holes 28 is filled in the concave groove 24, so that the space 52 can be filled with a sufficient amount of the sealing material 40.

That is, as shown by arrows in FIG. 3, the sealing material flows, and the sealing material flowing toward the outside of the room immediately hits the indoor side surface 26a of the fin 26 for forming a space and flows downward. As a result, the flow of the sealing material as indicated by the dotted arrow is reduced, and the space forming fin 26 and the outer wall material end surface 50 are reduced.
The leakage of the sealing material from the contact portion a to the outdoor side is reduced.

The back surface 50b of the outer wall material 50 is in contact with the seal fin 25, and the space forming auxiliary fin 27 is bent substantially in a hook shape and is in contact with the outer wall material end surface 50a.
The fin 32 of the top joint 30 is curved and the outer wall material end surface 50a
The outer wall material 50 can be displaced in the longitudinal direction with respect to the base joint 20 and the top joint 30 due to the contact with the base joint 20 and the top joint 30. Therefore, even if the outer wall material 50 expands and contracts due to the temperature, the joints 51 can be reliably watertight.

The outer wall material contact portion 21 of the base joint 20 and the joint joiner 23 may be separated in an out-of-plane direction. For example, as shown in FIG.
In FIG. 2B, two mounting walls 29 extending in the out-of-plane direction are integrally provided, and the joint joiner 23 is integrally provided on the two mounting walls 29 in the in-plane direction.

The auxiliary fin 27 for forming the space of the base joint 20 has a linear shape as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, and is bent into a substantially hook shape facing the indoor side when the end surface of the outer wall material abuts. Is also good. Although not shown, the seal fin 25 may be straight, not oblique.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the back surface of the outer wall material is in contact with the sealing fin of the outer wall material contact portion, the sealing material filled in the space is in contact with the outer wall material back surface and the outer wall material. Leakage from the contact portion of the part can be prevented by the seal fin.
Therefore, a sufficient amount of the sealing material is filled in the space, so that the watertightness of the joint is improved.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the fitting projection of the top joint is fitted into the concave groove of the base joint and the sealing material is pushed out of the hole to fill the space, the sealing material is pushed out of the hole. The flow of the sealing material toward the outside of the room is prevented by the fins for forming the space. Therefore, since the sealing material extruded from the hole is filled into the space as a flow toward the room side, leakage to the outside of the room from a contact portion between the space forming fin and the end face of the outer wall material is reduced.
