2. Description of the Related Art An apparatus for continuously cutting a wire wound in a coil shape is disclosed in JP-B-58-5-5.
There is an apparatus called a tab shear disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 134-134. In this method, the coil is dropped along a cylindrical drop passage, the drop of the coiled wire is interrupted by the separation finger when the coil has passed a predetermined amount, and the tip part below the separation finger is part of the fall passage. The wire is captured by a plurality of capture levers rotatably provided so that the wire can pass through, and the wire is cut. In other words, the wire rod at an arbitrary position in the cylindrical drop passage is captured by one of a plurality of capture levers that pass through a part of the drop passage by rotating the tip portion by the rotation, and The cutting is performed by the provided cutting blade and the cutting blade provided on the inner wall surface of the falling passage. This device has a feature that the end of the wire does not bend or deform because the wire travels a short distance for cutting.

In the above-mentioned tab shear, the trajectories of the moving paths of the plurality of catching levers are slightly overlapped so that any one of the plurality of catching levers can catch the wire. Is set so that it can be cut anywhere in the cylindrical falling path. However, in practice, a situation occurs in which the coil cannot be cut well, which leads to a stoppage of the equipment and a situation in which cobble cutting of the following material occurs.

As a result of repeated studies on when the above-mentioned cutting errors occur, the following has been found. FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the coiled wire cutting device. In this cutting device, the mandrel 2 is usually arranged at the center of the drop passage 1 so that the wire 3 does not exist near the center of the drop passage 1. Wire 3 to be cut
When the capture levers 4a, 4b, and 4c rotate and the front end portion (hook-shaped portion) passes through the fall passage 1, the capture lever is caught by any of the capture levers, and the cutting blade 5 of the capture lever 5
And a cutting blade provided on the inner wall surface of the drop passage 1. When the wire 3 to be cut is the capture lever 4a, 4b,
In the case of FIG. 2 existing near the movement area (shown by a dotted line) of the tip of 4c, the turning radii of the capture levers overlap so that the wire can be captured by any of two adjacent capture levers. Even if the setting is made in such a manner, the wire 3 that has been accidentally repelled and cannot be captured by the tip of the capturing lever 4a that has moved earlier is captured when the capturing lever 4b that subsequently moves attempts to capture it. The recoil of the lever 4a causes the trapping lever 4b to move out of the movement area of the trapping lever 4b, so that the trapping lever 4b is not trapped by any of the trapping levers and the wire 3 is not cut. And such a cutting mistake is caused by the catch lever 4a,
Since this is a problem that occurs when the wire 3 is located near the movement area of the tip of 4b, 4c, the wire to be cut is previously removed (moved away) from the vicinity of the movement area of the tip of the capture lever. By doing so, it has been found that such a problem of the cutting error can be solved. For this reason, the present invention has solved the above-mentioned problem by providing an exclusion unit for excluding the coil-shaped wire from a specific region in the falling passage at the time of cutting.

The coiled wire 3 moves while falling down the cylindrical drop passage 1 so as to surround the mandrel 2. After dropping by a predetermined amount, the separation finger 8 or the like is inserted into the cylindrical drop passage 1 to temporarily stop the drop, and the mandrel 2 is pulled down (or pulled up) so as not to hinder the cutting. The same number of wire push-out members 6 as the plurality of capture levers 4 located below are caused to enter by the drive mechanism 7. Thus, even when the wire 3 is located near the movement area of the tip of the capture lever 4, the wire 3 is pushed out from the vicinity of the movement area of the tip of the capture lever 4. In this state, the hook-shaped portion 40 and the cutting blade 5 at the starting end of the hook-shaped portion 40 drop the rotatable plural capture levers 4 having a center of rotation outside the cylindrical drop passage 1. The wire 3 is moved across the passage 1 to cut the wire 3. The wire is reliably captured by any of the plurality of capture levers 4 and cut by the cutting blade 5 of the capture lever 4 and the cutting blade 9 on the cylindrical wall surface. After cutting the wire 3, the catch lever 4 and the wire pushing member 6 are returned to their original positions, the mandrel 2 is pulled up (or lowered), the drop of the coiled wire 3 stopped at the top is restarted, and the cutting is repeated.

Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the wire pushing member 6 will be described. The structure of the wire pushing member 6 is not particularly limited, and can be constituted by an arbitrary member. For example, it can be constituted by a plate-like member having a certain width. FIG. 4 shows an example of a preferred shape of the distal end portion when the wire pushing member 6 is formed of a plate-like member. The plate-shaped member having a planar shape has a tapered tip portion. When the wire pushing member is formed of a plate-shaped member, if the tip of the plate is straight, the wire is pushed in the direction of the center of the drop passage 1, so that the shape of the tip of the capture lever is tapered, It is desirable that θ be an acute angle.
Thereby, even when a plate-shaped member is used as the wire pushing member 6, the wire can be cut reliably.

It is preferable that the following consideration be given to the entry position of the wire pushing member into the falling passage. If the wire pushing member and the catch lever are in the same plane, they will hit each other and cannot be cut, so they are set at different heights. Therefore, the fall path is set so that the wire does not enter the movement area of the tip of the catch lever at the catch lever position. It is necessary to determine the entry position of the wire pushing member into the inside. At this time, depending on whether the winding direction of the coiled wire is right-handed or left-handed, different considerations are required for the entry position into the fall passage. FIG. 5 shows a difference between a right-handed coil wire and a left-handed coil wire when the wire pushing member is caused to enter the falling passage at a position below the plurality of capture levers. FIG. 5 shows a longitudinal section of the device of the present invention, in which the advance position of the wire pushing member 6 is set for a right-handed coil. The moving area of the tip of the capture lever moving from the right on the cut surface 50 of the wire is shown by X, and the moving area of the tip of the capture lever moving from the left is also shown by Y. The right-handed coil-shaped wire located near the movement area Y of the tip of the capture lever moving from the left is moved to the position of the right-handed coil 51a or the right-handed coil 51b by the entry of the wire pushing member 6. Therefore, for example, when it moves to the position 51a, the right-handed coil wire 51a does not interfere with the movement area Y of the tip end of the capture lever moving from the left on the cut surface 50. However, in the case of the left-handed coil wire 52, when the wire push-out member 6 is made to enter the same position as in the case of the right-handed coil wire, the left-handed coil is moved to the position of the movement area Y of the tip end of the capture lever moving from the left on the cut surface 50. Wire rod 52
May be located and may be flipped by the capture lever to cause a cutting error. Therefore, it is necessary to set the entry position of the wire pushing member in the left-handed coil wire to the left in FIG. 5 as compared with the right-handed coil wire. As described above, it is preferable to give different considerations to the advance position of the wire pushing member in the case of the right-handed coil wire and the case of the left-handed coil wire.

It is conceivable to use a wide wire extruding member in order to cope with both the right-handed coil wire and the left-handed coil wire. However, as shown in FIG. 4, if the tip of the wire extruding member is formed into an acute-angled tapered shape. In addition, the length e of the distal end portion of the wire pushing member becomes longer, and it is necessary to increase the moving amount when pushing the wire pushing member. When the movement amount increases, the deflection of the wire pushing member also increases, the distance to the cut surface changes, and there is a risk that the wire cannot be reliably removed from the movement area of the tip end portion of the capture lever. In addition, since the distance over which the wire is moved by the wire pushing member increases, the possibility that the cut portion bends also increases.
Therefore, in order to cope with this, if the advance position of the wire pushing member is separately set for the right-handed coil wire and the left-handed coil wire, the moving amount when pushing the wire pushing member is reduced,
The wire can be reliably removed from the movement area of the tip of the capture lever. Since the angle of the wire near the cutting position changes depending on the type of steel, diameter, temperature, and the upper surface position of the coil that is stacked below, the advance position and width of the wire pushing member 6 can be designed according to each case. Good.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Using the apparatus of the embodiment shown in FIGS.
The wire 3 formed into a coil having a diameter of 1000 mm was cut. In this device, a drop passage 1 having a diameter of 1250 mm is used.
A mandrel 2 having a diameter of 800 mm was arranged in the inside, and a turning radius of the capture lever 4 was 900 mm. 10 below capture lever 4
A thin plate having a width of 225 mm and a thickness of 4.5 mm was allowed to enter the wire extruding member 6 at a position of 0 mm. Since the maximum angle of the coiled wire to be cut with respect to the horizontal plane of the wire 3 at the cutting position was 55 °, the details were designed with a margin of 50 mm.
When the coil material has fallen by a predetermined amount, the coil material is stopped from dropping into the fall passage 1, the mandrel 2 is lowered, the three wire pushing members 6 are advanced, the catch lever 4 is rotated, and the hook-like portion falls. The wire 3 was captured by entering the passage, and the wire 3 was cut. The cut wire 3 was carried out from the lower part of the apparatus. A good cut surface was obtained without bending at the cut portion of the wire 3 and cutting was performed continuously, but no cutting error occurred.
