2. Description of the Related Art In conventional precision electric discharge machining, an electrode material is made of an expensive material such as silver tungsten, copper tungsten, electrolytic copper, etc., so that the holding portion is separated from the electrode, and the electrode is machined into a required shape. The material had to be firmly fixed to the holder. The fixing method was to use soldering, brazing, crimping, adhesive, etc., and insert the electrode material into the tapered hole through the tapered rib, and fix it with parallel screws There are many methods, such as expensive methods to fix the electrode directly by cutting screws and holding a horizontal screw, but all of them take time to fix the electrode, and if you remove it, the electrode itself will be scratched or deformed, and you can accidentally remove it without damage Even if the electrodes are reattached and adjusted, they will never return to the initial bell, and after the discharge work, most of the electrodes will be stored with the holder attached or discarded together with the holder. Which was.

In precision electric discharge machining, electrode machining is performed with a tooling stem recommended by each manufacturer in manufacturing a rod-shaped electrode shape. However, there are many problems in a method of fixing an electrode material portion and a portion holding the electrode material portion. There was. (A) In the case of soldering, brazing, crimping, or using an adhesive between the electrode material and the holding part, it takes time and equipment to fix the electrode material to the holder, and the holding part cannot be reused. Was discarded or stored as it was. (B) A holder that has a tapered hole and a parallel male screw in the holder, and the taper sleeve is attached to the electrode and fastened with a parallel screw nut is fixed. The holder itself is expensive and it is economical to prepare a large number of discharge jigs. It was difficult. (C) In order to simplify disassembly, if the electrode material and the holding part are directly threaded and joined, or if a hole of the electrode material shape is drilled in the holder and the horizontal screw is held down, the fluctuating load due to machining during electrode shape manufacturing Weak and unreliable. (D) In the fixing method of (b) to (c), once it was detached from the holder, it could not be reset with initial accuracy even if it could be fixed to the holder again. The present invention has been made to solve the above drawbacks.

According to the present invention, the hole (1-2) provided at the end of the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1) has an appropriate fitting margin and depth with respect to the rod-shaped electrode material (3). The rod-shaped electrode material (3) is inserted into the hole (1-2), and the force generated by a minute change in the taper diameter due to the tightening of the taper screw (1-3) and the taper nut (2) provided on the outer shape is applied to the hole. The rod-shaped electrode material (3) is strongly fixed by providing a slit (1-4) that replaces the deformation of (1-2) and makes the deformation smoother and more effective.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the following can be performed and the present invention is effective. (A) Even if a dimensional defect due to electrode processing error occurred during electrode processing, the electrode material could be replaced immediately. (C) Since the fixed bonding force between the rod-shaped electrode material and the holder acts strongly, the width of the allowable processing load on the electrode is widened, and the processing can be performed with a sense of security, thus improving the efficiency. (D) A hole (1-) provided in the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1).
The fitting allowance of 2) is 0.0 with respect to the rod-shaped electrode material (3).
When the electrode was processed to be larger by 05 mm to 0.01 mm, even if the electrode was removed from the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1) and set again, it could be reproduced with unprecedented accuracy and in a short time. (E) Holes (1-) provided in the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1).
The shape of 2) is the same as the cross-sectional shape of the rod-shaped electrode material (3) to be fixed.
The same result was obtained with polygons. (F) The electrode can be removed without any damage from the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1), and the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1) fixes a new rod-shaped electrode material (3) to fix the electrode. Since the processing can be advanced, the work efficiency has been significantly improved. (G) Since the holder is composed of two parts, the rod-shaped electrode material holder main body (1) and the tapered nut (2), the cost can be greatly reduced. (H) Even if one of the tapered screw (1-3) and the tapered nut (2) of the rod-shaped electrode material holder body (1) is a parallel screw, a tightening effect can be obtained. (I) The same result could be obtained even if the shape of the holder gripping portion (1-1) was tapered, round, or square according to the tooling system of each processing machine. (V) The present invention could be used for processing other than electrodes to improve efficiency.
