Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of a circuit and the liquid leakage of a battery by cutting an electric current in case of accomodating the battery in a wrong direction of polarities by preventing a contact mounted in a battery box from being contacted with a negative electrode terminal of the battery when the polarities of the battery are set in the wrong directions. SOLUTION: Partition chambers 5a, 5b are formed in a battery box body 1, contacts 2a, 2b, 2c are mounted in a state of being located at both sides of the partition chambers, and conductors 4a, 4b are welded to contacts 2a, 2c. The conductors 4a, 4b are extended from openings 8a, 8c formed on lower parts of the partition chambers 5a, 5b to the external of the battery box to be connected to arbitrary output means. The contacts 2a, 2b and the contacts 2b, 2c are respectively contacted with polar terminals of the battery 3a and a battery 3b. The negative electrode terminals of the batteries 3a, 3b are not contacted with the contacts 2b, 2c in a state that the polarities of the battery are set in the wrong directions, so that an electric circuit is cut off, and the current does not flow between the conductors 4a, 4b.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional battery box for a button battery has a structure in which contacts 2 are disposed on the left and right sides of a battery box 1 and a battery 3a is accommodated therein as shown in FIG.
However, in a battery box with such a structure, if the battery polarity is incorrectly stored in the wrong direction, a current flows in the circuit in the opposite direction. There was a risk of bursting or liquid leakage due to heating. For this reason, although the battery box has been improved to display the direction in which the batteries are stored in the battery box with pictures, etc., and alerting the user, it is often displayed small and difficult to read due to problems with the display space, etc.
If the display is misread, it is inevitable that the above-mentioned danger is caused, and improvement of the display is required.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The present invention is directed to a battery box for a button battery, in which when a battery is incorrectly stored in a reverse direction, a contact provided in the battery box does not contact a negative electrode terminal of the battery. In order to prevent damage such as breakage of the electric circuit and battery leakage, and to use a plurality of batteries, a compartment is provided in the battery box via a contact in the battery box. By making it possible to store one battery at a time in each compartment, and by having a structure in which a contact is always arranged between the batteries stored in the adjacent compartments,
Even when the polarity of some of the batteries is incorrectly stored, the contact provided in the compartment for storing the battery with the incorrectly stored polarity cuts off the current, causing the current to flow backward and The present invention relates to a battery box that can prevent an overload on a battery and prevent an accident such as breakage of an electric circuit or leakage of a battery.
