Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire having air-cleaning function which can suck smoke from the entire space ranging from a region directly under a suction part to a peripheral edge part of a shade, without losing smoke and does not release cigarette smoke and/or bad smell to the surrounding even if a filter becomes dirty and its purification ability drops. SOLUTION: In this luminaire, an emission of air 10 from an air cleaner 2 to the bottom edge of a shade 32 raises an air flow along a slant face of the shade 32, an air flow permitting suction from the space ranging from a peripheral edge part of the shade to an area directly under the center of the shade. The circulation of the air inside the luminaire with no emission to surroundings prevents cigarette smoke and/or bad smell from being released, even when a filter becomes dirty and its purification ability drops. As means for circulating air, the shade of the luminaire 1 employs a double shade 3, so that the air exhausted from the air cleaner can be discharged from a space close to the bottom edge of the shade.

According to the present invention, the air discharged from the air purifier is discharged to the vicinity of the lower end of the umbrella, and the smoke near the lower end of the umbrella is sucked up to generate an updraft along the slope of the umbrella.
Smoke can be suctioned from just below the suction section to the tip of the umbrella without escape. The air sucked up by the air purifier does not circulate in the device and is not radiated to the outside. Therefore, even if the filter is dirty and the purification ability is reduced, the smoke and odor of the cigarette are not radiated to the surroundings. In addition, noise can be reduced because the rotation speed of the fan can be reduced. Since a double umbrella or a duct is provided to allow air to flow through the lower end of the umbrella, an excellent design can be achieved. An illuminator with an air purifying function for providing an air purifier to a luminaire, discharging air from the air purifier near a lower end of the umbrella, generating an airflow along a slope of the umbrella, and circulating the air. . 2. An illuminator with an air purifying function according to claim 1, wherein the illuminator has a double umbrella, and the air from the air purifier passes through the space between the umbrellas and is discharged to the vicinity of the lower end of the umbrella. 3.
