Claims (4)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 画像記録部でシートに画像を記録し、そ
の記録後のシートを定着装置に入れて記録画像を定着す
る画像形成装置において、 前記画像記録部と前記定着装置間を遮って冷却ダクトを
配置し、 その冷却ダクト内に温度センサを備え、 その温度センサで前記冷却ダクト内の温度が所定温度に
達したことを検知したとき軸流ファンを作動して前記冷
却ダクトに通気してなる、画像形成装置。

An image forming apparatus for recording an image on a sheet by an image recording unit, inserting the recorded sheet into a fixing device, and fixing the recorded image, wherein the image recording unit and the fixing device are intercepted and cooled.
