Quick detachable binding
Field of the invention
The present invention provides that a user wears at least one pair of boots on a snow slide
Related to the technology of removably attaching to a shake board device, especially a single hanging
Of the boot against the binding mounted on the snow skiing device using a possible lever
Attachment and removal are performed quickly. This lever is
Provides convenient mechanical work to enable fastening of the fixed band wound on the
It is configured to obtain. The lever is in hand for this mechanically convenient operation
Even with gloves, it can be tightened with one hand.
This application was filed on January 18, 1996 as application number 60 / 010,191.
Based on the provisional patent requested. This application was filed on November 6, 1996
US patent application Ser. No. 08 / 744,290.
The application has been abandoned upon receipt of this partial continuation application.
Description of the prior art
The technology of fixing boots to snow skiing equipment has a long history and is rich in many changes
There are cases. Downhill skiing from cross-country skiing in addition to snowboarding
Like snow slides that have evolved into bindings, the bindings
The requirements for each change and performance of the operation, ease of use and safety
Developed to meet and extends to today. Rotation with mechanical convenience
What the fixed bar teaches here is also the binding of the wake sliding device.
Can also be used.
Remove and reattach at least one boot on snowboard
Need lift help. Normally, to loosen the snowboard, slide one foot
With the no board attached, remove the snowboard from the other foot and
Get off the Alift.
The binding used by the user to attach the boots to the snowboard
Today, there are more than 300 different forms. Bindings for wakeboarding
Also come in many forms. Many bindings are snowboarding or way
Footbed that attaches directly to the
"Standard" consisting of a toe anchor and an instep anchor that secures the user's boot in the door
Can be grouped into one group called "bindings."
Every time, wishing to remove the boots from the binding, then loosen all the straps
There must be. If it is desired to re-install the board, the user must re-install the strap.
Splash me, then stretch to secure the boots in the binding footbed
Must be adjusted.
Current technology teaches a fixed band that is buckled. Some buckles are la
In combination with a cheet, a fixed band with woven teeth moves the ratchet
This firmly tightens through the buckle. Take a certain amount of lift to secure
Thick gloves to release the fixed band and re-engage the band after the lift has returned
If ice adheres to the surface of boots, straps or buckles when wearing
With difficulty. When the snow is deep, it is sometimes difficult to move and stop the ratchet
It becomes.
If the strap is removed from the buckle, the cold and moisture surrounding the snowboard
It is extremely difficult to re-engage the fastening band and buckle under normal conditions
Become.
A solution that eliminates the use of a fixed band is a steel plate attached to the board.
Use the rate to engage with the connector steps on the bottom of the user's boot
Is taught. This type of boot requires a hard sole,
The flexibility of the tool. Steps and boards on boot connectors
The surface plate becomes full of ice and the connector fully engages the plate.
Can not be adjusted.
In addition, the user should step into the snow if the board rests on soft snow
This device must be fixed in the
Rather than engaging the connector with the plate, there is a tendency to push the board into the snow
is there.
A proposal for solving this problem is attempted in U.S. Pat. No. 5,143,396. This
The solution is to use a large, heavy special table made to fit your feet

Teach to use. This fixing band is the one of the fixing band where the tightening bar engages far away.
When moving the ends and tightening the tightening bar, it is desirable to
Engage its special fastening band in the hole combination until it fits tightly
The adjustment is made exclusively by the method used.
U.S. Pat. No. 514,396 attempts to teach the use of a latching device (

No. 514,396 describes how the handle 86 and the fastening means 36 work.
It doesn't describe how it works. To teach exclusively, when the handle 86 is pushed down
Release the clamping bar. According to this teaching,
This release will sometimes occur when the user does not want to.
Further, according to this teaching, the hinge portion of the tightening bar is located at one end.
The handle 86 is at the other end, and a fixing band is provided between the hinge end and the handle 86.
Will be worn.
The mechanical advantage is not taught or using the fastening means 36
Assisting the engagement of the handle 86 is suggested according to US Pat.
I can't do that. For fixed bands around boots that can stretch with ice, snow and moisture

Therefore, the user can easily attach the boot to the snowboard or wakeboard device.
There is a need for a device that can be attached and removed.
This device allows for a wide range of adjustment of the tension of the fixed band to accommodate the user's boots.
It is desirable to be able to.
In addition, adjustment of the fixation band tension is only necessary at first, after removal and boot
Desirably, no special readjustment of tension is required for re-engagement with the card.
In addition, there is no hindrance when using in cold environments with thick gloves.
It is also desirable to be able to clear up. Great power for installation or removal
Is preferably not required. This is negative like moving because it does not come off carelessly
It is desirable to engage firmly in one stroke with less burden.
In addition, the engagement of this device adheres to boots, bindings, straps or boards
It is desirable not to be adversely affected by the forming ice.
In addition, this engagement requires strong pressure to push the board into soft snow.
Desirably not.
In addition, the boots are kept in the binding with simple hanging and unhooking operations.
It is desirable to fix or remove the holding device.
This action is simple enough to engage even if the user is wearing thick gloves.
It is desirable to achieve this with a bar arrangement.
In addition, tightening reduces the force required to engage the latch in the capture device.
It is desirable to combine it with a mechanically convenient operation to eliminate it.
In addition, this device does not require special connectors to be attached to the boots,
It is desirable to be able to adapt to soft or hard boots.

Description of the preferred embodiment
Referring to the drawings, FIG. 1 illustrates an engagable and releasable device in accordance with the present invention.
Figure 2 shows a user's boot mounted on a standard binding. Here, the whole of the present invention
Body function is best understood from FIG.
The user's boot is held in the binding device by a set of straps.
You. This fastening band is such that the tightening lever 10 is used for the front fastener 30 and the rear fastener 20.
After engaging internally, it is initially adjusted for a comfortable level.
This operation lowers the bar 11 to a predetermined position. Boots from binding 1
To release, the user applies pressure on the rear fastener 20 to release the clamping lever 10.
Add. With this pressure, the tightening lever 10 is disengaged from the front fastener 30 and crosses over.
Bar 11 moves as well. One end of a set of fixing strips is attached to the bar 11
The straps holding the boots in the binding 1 are loose.
Thus, the boot can be removed from the binding 1.
Most fixed bands have a buckle with ratchet adjustment mechanism that tightens it tightly
With or otherwise attached. This fixed band is bound at one end
The other end is attached to the bar 11 across the other end.
After the fastening lever 10 is engaged with the fastener, wrap the toe of the boot of the user.
One end of the fixed band is fixed in position, and the fixed band is operated by operating the ratchet.
At this time, the fixed band is worn in the binding 1 following the user's boots.
