US 4,050,462 relates to a diaper having an elastic body, said elastic body being in a flat state
The diaper crotch area to extend straight at
Means to increase the unit volume and surface area of the absorber by shrinking and pleating
Illustrated.
A diaper having an essentially straight elastic body forming a V-shaped configuration is disclosed in WO 88/00010.
It is shown. The elastic body extends inside across the absorber of the diaper, causing the elastic body to contract.
Define the boundaries of the area that will be deformed by use. Extending the elastic body mainly at the straight section
The elastic body tries to reduce the overall length of the article, so that the pleating of the article as a whole
Is done. The area enclosed between the many linear elastic parts is reduced by the contraction of the elastic parts.
The ur shape is given.
A method for producing diapers is disclosed in US 4,801,345. This method is for diaper crotch
Including the application of elastic along the minute. In this method, the elastic is along the long edge of the diaper.
Therefore, it extends concavely to the outside and extends entirely toward the absorber. The purpose of the elastic body is
It is fundamentally to achieve a tight connection of the diaper's edge to the wearer's leg.
A further effect is the constant shrinkage and pleating of the absorber across the crotch.
In a flat diaper, extend completely straight and extend completely to the side of the absorber
A diaper having an elastic body is disclosed in EP 0,219,326. Elastic body is both crotch
Located along the outer edge of the diaper on the side and also trimmed on both sides of the absorber
I have. In addition to maintaining an upright seal edge by trimming, the elastic
Ensure constant crimping and shrinkage of the container.
GB 2,234,157 around the waistband of the training pants, on the legs of the wearer
Trainee having an elastic body extending along the edge of the crotch and across the crotch
About trousers. Elastics surrounding the legs reduce the risk of leakage, but
The cutting elastics are only arranged to allow a reasonable application of continuous elastic yarn.
No. The structure and method are particularly adapted for training pants type diapers.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
It is an object of the present invention to disposable liquid absorption to apply a very effective collecting shape during use
Is to provide a sexual article.
Diapers with leg elastics according to US 3,860,003 became common in the 1960s
Since then, a huge number of patents on diaper elastics have been filed around the world.
ing.
The elastic body may be longitudinally and / or longitudinally to form a three-dimensional shape or a leakage barrier.
Or it has been adapted laterally.
The elastic body is also applied in a curved shape along the cover edge outside the side edge of the absorber
However, the curved shape has been selected for better application to the user's body type.
It just does.
According to the invention, a completely new elasticity which gives the product many advantages in a particularly simple way
Body effects made.
The above objects and novel advantages are attained according to the present invention, that is, the features apparent from the appended claim 1.
Achieved by the goods.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:
The present invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of an article of the present invention according to a first embodiment of a diaper,
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the diaper of FIG. 1 essentially in use;
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the article of the invention according to the second embodiment in use,
FIG. 4 is a longitudinal section along the line IV-IV of FIG.
Yes,
5 is a corresponding longitudinal section along the line VV of FIG. 2 of the diaper in use,
FIG. 6 is a transverse section along line VI-VI of FIG. 2 of the diaper in use,

Figures 10-12 illustrate three additional useful embodiments.
Detailed description of preferred embodiments:
Particularly representative articles of the present invention are selected as specific examples. It is liquid or feces
So-called incontinence diapers, i.e. adults, not children
It is a diaper.
As is clear from the first specific example (refer mainly to FIGS. 1, 2 and 4), the diaper 10
Is constituted by a cover 11 surrounding a core in the form of an absorber 12. Shown in FIG.
In a flattened, unfolded state, the core has two major surfaces facing away from each other (
That is, the interior side 13 intended to face inward towards the user and the exterior side
Represents a relatively flat main profile with an outer side 14) intended to be used. Further absorption
Body 12 provides a suitable outline anatomically adapted to the user's body to absorber 12
The given rounded surrounding edge portion 15 is represented. Absorber 12 is stiffer than the rest of the absorber
A central portion 16 is provided. This is because the basic weight of the central part 16 is larger than that of the rest of the absorber.
Achieved by large absorbers. Even if the central part is thicker than the rest of the absorption layer

The elastic body 23 is bonded to at least one of the layers 17 and 18 of the cover 11, and the first member
In the embodiment, it is bonded to the liquid-permeable layer 17. In the example shown, the elastic is a layer
17, i.e. between the absorber 12 and the layer, but of course instead of the outer layer
It may be applied to the unit side. The elastic body is, for example, a very elastic material (for example, rubber)
With an elongated elastic member having an elastic core in the form of a thread or band and a bonding agent
It consists of an elongated elastic member with a wound thread cover that can be wound.
The elastic core thus allows elastic movement and at the same time the elastic core of the diaper layer 17
Enables the fixation of The elastic body will try to shrink and the elastic thread or band will serve this purpose.
Pre-stressed (ie, to some extent before settling occurs in diaper layer 17).
Will be broken). Anchoring may be at a certain part of the extension of the elastic body or at all
This is performed by the bonding agent 30 applied at the time. In the example shown, the bow
Each of the raised portions 24, 25 is a double elastic, i.e., two adjacently extending bullets.
It is arranged with the sex members 30, 31, 32, 33. One of those curves
One elastic member 33 of the part 25 becomes edge elastic bodies 34 and 35, and
Long edge of the diaper up to the intersecting positions 26 and 27 of the part 24
It extends along both 28 and 29. In the example shown, the edge elastics 34, 3
5 is an arc which extends essentially straight but has a small curvature, ie a large radius of curvature
May be provided.
The diaper is essentially a plan view in FIG.
The contraction effect of the elastic body is shown in a visible state. .
FIG. 2 shows the diaper in a condition for use. This shape handles diapers
Formed as soon as it starts, this effect is described in detail below. Diapers are flat
As far as possible, essentially no shaping takes place except that the absorber is slightly compressed
. Before the diaper is applied to the use position, the area 38 located inside the elastic body is
If pressed down when bending one, the desired shape may be forcibly given by hand.
No. The bow-elastic body attempts to shrink and cooperates with the bonding of the layer to the absorbent core.
By fixing one layer 17 of the cover to the absorbent core,
In conjunction with the deformable properties of the cover, the elastic body is essentially sagging with respect to the flat inside of the article.
A straight bowl wall 39 'is formed. Outside the outer edge of the absorber in the crotch area of the article
The bar part has a bowl wall 39 "surrounding the bowl-shaped space together with the bowl wall 39".
Form.
FIG. 3 shows a diagram corresponding to FIG. 2 of another specific example of the diaper. 23 'in the figure
The elastic body referred to by reference has the same configuration as the first specific example, but the outer layer 18 (
That is, it is bonded to the liquid impermeable layer). Again, the elastic thread or band is
It may preferably be applied by an inner bonding agent. And on the contrary, this is inside
Therefore, it must be bonded to the absorber. The corresponding preferred bowl is this example
Is also essentially achieved. The force acting on the diaper by the bow of the elastic body,
These elastic parts provide the necessary diaper deformation for the formation of vertical bowl walls.
It is particularly important here to be assisted by outward forces before giving.
You.
The elastic part contracts at the wide part of the edge part 19 just before the crotch part 20.
Lifted in both embodiments to try, ie to reduce the length
. When the diaper is used, the raised longitudinal edges 36, 37 are at an altitude relative to the body.
Try to squeeze the wearer's body inside the thigh to form a liquid-impermeable bond.
In particular, in the first embodiment of FIG. 2, a distinct, essentially vertical bowl wall is
Appears inside the elastic part that has been pressed. Furthermore, a certain amount of pleating prevents shrinkage of the layer due to the elastic body.
Therefore, it appears in the horizontal direction. As mentioned earlier, the bow bowl wall is essentially flat on the bowl
May be essentially perpendicular to the line along the bottom. Bow bowl wall is elastic
By choosing to prestress and by the deformation properties of the absorber
Form an acute or obtuse angle with the line along the bottom of the urn. At acute angle, pocket shape
Is obtained near the elastic body. Therefore, the surrounding elastic body 23 is a body product.
To form the upper edge of the bowl 39 which acts as a collecting space. This has a relatively large capacity
It is especially useful in cases of severe incontinence that can grow. Feces are collected in the diaper collection area
It can be received in this space without danger of going outside. Absorber 12, special
The portion located inside the elastic body 23 has a function of absorbing the liquid,
The purpose of the wall is before the absorber 12 can completely absorb all the liquid volume,
The purpose is to prevent leakage of liquid to the outside of the diaper. The raised edge 19
Due to the position of the diaper, for example when the wearer is lying
Keeps liquids that are not immediately absorbed. As soon as the wearer changes body position
The liquid can be absorbed by the absorber.
The longitudinal section in FIGS. 4 and 5 and the transverse section in FIG. 6 illustrate the effect of forming the shape of the elastic body.
You. This will be described in more detail. The elastic body shrinks and therefore tries to reduce its length
With this, the shape forming action of the elastic body occurs. By fixing the elastic body to the cover,
The bar is subjected to a contraction movement of the elastic body. Cover layer absorbs across those surfaces
It is in turn connected to the body, whereby the plane tension of the cover layer is transmitted to the absorber. Sucking
The elastic body across the main part of the spread across the collector is applied in a curved form
The contraction action is caused by force components 40 and 41 at each point crossing the curved portion of the elastic body.
(See FIGS. 1 and 4), wherein the force component is a pair for each point of the curved part.
Directly directed to the corresponding center of curvature. If the curved part has a different radius of curvature
If so, there are different centers of curvature for each different point. However,
The diaper absorber 12 exhibits a certain compression resistance, which is reduced by the contraction force 40, 41 of the elastic body.
This is illustrated in FIG. 4 by opposing reaction force components 42,43. Resistance to compression
Is transverse to the symmetry plane 44 of the disk-shaped absorber (ie, the force direction in the plane of the paper).
(Transverse to 42, 43). Especially this is more
This is the case for a change to a rigid central part 16. As mentioned above, the absorber is the rest of the absorber
The inside of the curved elastic part is stiff and therefore more elastic at the stiffer central part 16
More deformable around and outside the body. The absorber 12 is preferably a so-called
It is made of lulose fluff pulp, and is relatively easy to bend with the cover 11,
The stiff central portion 16 exhibits a certain resistance to compression. These characteristics are bow
In order to cause deformation of the article in the area with the stiffener, a pair of forces 41, 43 and
And torsional moments caused by each of
It is represented by arcuate lines 48, 49, 50, 51 which schematically represent the partial bending directions.
Due to the position of the elastic body outside the plane of symmetry 44, the bending moment of the absorber 12 is already
It occurs in a flat state. However, the article does not deform when it is flat
This deformation does not begin until the article is handled.
FIG. 5 illustrates a bowl formed by an elastic body, the elastic body being related to the plane of the article.
Extending essentially outside the absorber wall and essentially vertical bowl wall 39 'along the bow
It is limited by a bowl wall 39 "formed by a portion of the cover.
These parts are formed by the action of the edge elastic bodies 34 and 35 combined with the bow elastic body.
Lifted.
The cross section in FIG. 6 shows that the bowl is relatively deep and therefore can hold a large amount of waste.

[Procedure for Amendment] Article 184-8, Paragraph 1 of the Patent Act [Date of Submission] December 6, 1997 (1997.12.2.6) [Content of Amendment] (Corrected on the 3rd page of the original text of the specification) GB 2,234,157 is training A training pant having an elastic body extending around the waistband of the pant, along the edge of the crotch to the wearer's leg, and across the crotch. While the elastic surrounding the legs reduces the risk of leakage, the elastic across the crotch is only positioned to allow for reasonable application of continuous elastic yarn. The structure and method are particularly adapted for training pants type diapers. GB-A-2 156 681 is located inwardly in an arcuate edge and in a central longitudinal direction along each of said edges, and preferably outwardly from the seal with a fluid permeable cover attached directly to the fluid impermeable barrier. A sanitary napkin provided with the provided elastic body is disclosed. This causes the elastic to clamp the end of the napkin to provide a cup-shaped profile with a profile bottom generally corresponding to the wearer's perineal area. Summary of the Invention: It is an object of the present invention to provide a disposable liquid absorbent article that applies a very effective collection shape during use. Since the diapers with leg elastics according to US 3,860,003 became common in the 1960s, a vast number of patents on diaper elastics have been filed worldwide. Elastics have been adapted longitudinally and / or laterally in the diaper to form a three-dimensional shape or leak barrier. Elastics have also been applied in a curvilinear shape along the outer cover edge portion of the absorber's side edges, but the curvilinear shape is only selected for better application to the user's physique. The invention has created an entirely new elastic effect which gives the product a number of advantages in a particularly simple manner. The above objects and novel advantages are achieved by the present invention, an article according to the features apparent from claim 1. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS: The invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Claims 1.
