Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a seal-up perch unnecessary for a twist can or the like which is decompressed at its inside and to make a cover attachable and detachable simply and certainly by a method wherein a means for holding the cover for a printing ink container for sealing-up is not made a caulking, but a one utilizing meshing of protuberances with each other. SOLUTION: An ink can 1 comprises a cover 2 and a container body 3. The cover 2 has a top face 4 and a side face 5, and a groove 6 for housing a packing therein is provided between the top face and the side face. While an outwardly-curled-up part 7 is provided at the lower end of the side face 5, inwardly-projecting protuberances 8 are provided at appropriate intervals at the side face 5 on each of inclined positions. The upper end of a side face 10 of the container body 3 is curled up inwardly so as to be fitted close to the packing 15. A string 12 is provided at the lower side of a part 11 to be covered by the side face of the cover at the upper part of the side face 10 and made to project toward the outside. Furthermore, outwardly-projecting protuberances 13 are provided at positions corresponding to the protuberances 8. Then, the cover 2 is elastically held at the upside of the container body 3 by meshing of the protuberances 13 and 8 on both sides.

2. Description of the Related Art There are various types of printing inks. Among them, those which solidify and form a film when exposed to air (oxygen) prevent exposure to air (oxygen). For this reason, after packing in a can, the top surface is covered with a perch made of vinyl chloride and further covered.

[0003] However, if a perch made of vinyl chloride is put on the top surface of the ink, the cost of the perch made of vinyl chloride is extra, and the manual work of putting the perch is quite troublesome. It cannot be adapted to perform automatically. Further, since the ink adheres to the perch, the ink is wasted by the amount of the ink adhered when the perch is removed.

[0004] Instead of using perch, instead of using perch, vacuum is applied around the can filled with ink to remove oxygen, and then a nitrogen atmosphere lower than atmospheric pressure is used. An ink can that does not require perch by sealing the ink can with a lid having a packing is known.

The above-mentioned draw-can which has a lid sealed in the draw-can cannot be made too thin due to the nature of the draw-can, and the edge of the lid is caulked after the lid is put. The rigidity of the container is also required in that the container and the lid are tightly packed by the operation.
Because the lid-to-container connection is tight, the edge of the lid is in close contact with the perimeter of the can and considerable force is applied. This can
Regardless of whether the lid is opened against the first decompression or the second time when the lid is opened and the inside of the container is no longer decompressed, the rigidity of the squeezing can and the method of coupling the lid and the container described above For this purpose, insert appropriate tools between the lace of the container (the part protruding along the periphery of the container located just below the rim of the lid having the peripheral surface covering the upper part of the body) and the rim of the lid. If you do not open it, it is not easy to open the lid, and if you close it tightly and open it again, you can not open it by hand alone.

Also, when the edge of the lid is swaged, the swaging must be carefully performed with a high-performance swaging machine so that the force required to remove the lid from the container does not change.

Further, when the swaging force is weakened, or when the elasticity between the can and the lid is weak, the lid once opened is easy to remove and the sealing is incomplete. Furthermore, the upper end of the container is sealed with the packing by a caulking force, and the packing may lose the sealing property if the elasticity that plays a role of sealing the container is lost.

On the other hand, a can manufactured by drawing and drawing requires a cost in the manufacturing process itself and requires a certain thickness in nature as described above. Therefore, the material cost is reduced by reducing the amount of metal used. Cans cannot be manufactured.

Part 1 Covered by Side of Lid on Top of Container Body 3
When the cover 2 is put on the cover 1 and the protrusions 8 on the inside and the protrusions 13 on the outside are covered at positions where they do not collide, the cover 16 is pushed to the lowest position where the upper end 16 and the packing 15 collide without applying force. When the lid is rotated in this state, the inward projection 8 and the outward projection 13 are engaged with each other, and the upper end 16 of the side surface of the container body 3 and the packing 15 are strongly pressed by the inclination thereof, so that the container Is sealed.

Particularly, in the case of the metal container body 3 and the lid 2 whose surfaces are not polished, since the frictional force is not always small, even if the container body is closed, the container body 3 and the lid 2 are relatively moved by hand. It is not easy to rotate. However, when using an automated filling device, it is technically necessary to relatively rotate the lid 2 and the container body 3 with a uniform and strong force over the entire circumference against such frictional force. Easy.

On the other hand, when removing the covered lid from the container body, the lid 2 can be removed simply by pushing up the lid. However, when the inside is under reduced pressure, it may be difficult. In this case, a suitable tool (a tool such as that shown in FIG. 3 is convenient) is attached to the string 12 of the container body 3 and the lid 2.
The lid 2 can be opened by inserting and prying out between the part 7 which is rounded outside. Once the lid has been opened, the pressure can be removed, and the lid can then be easily lifted by hand. However, in the can of the present invention, the lid can be closed again so that the seal can be maintained intact. is there.

In the case of a conventional ink can by caulking,
It is thought that it is necessary to insert a suitable tool between the string 12 and the rounded portion 7 on the outside of the lid 2 to pry open both when first prying open and when prying again with the lid. The lid 2 is elastically held on the container body 3 by the engagement of the outward projections 13 and the inward projections 8 with, for example, rounded projections. The lid 2 can be detached from the container body 3 by applying a force to lift the lid that disengages the projections against the elasticity of the lid 3.
Therefore, in the case of a can once opened, the lid can be closed again so that the sealing is completely maintained, and once the lid is opened against the decompression, the can is manually opened by the hand. Easy to do. Closing the can can be easily performed by a human hand by pressing the lid onto the container body 3 by setting the relative position between the lid and the main body to the position where the outward projection 13 and the inward projection 8 correspond to each other.

Next, the procedure for filling the ink into the container using, for example, an automatic filling machine will be described below. No perch is used in the ink can of the present invention. Instead, the interior of the can must be replaced with nitrogen under reduced pressure so that oxygen does not enter the interior of the can. Use a filling device that can be lowered. When the ink is completely filled in the main container 3 up to just above the string portion, the inside of the filling device, that is, the periphery of the can is evacuated while the lid is held at a remote position above the main container. Then, nitrogen is introduced at a pressure below atmospheric pressure, the part holding the lid of the filling device pushes the lid down and further closes the lid clockwise. Thereby, the upper end of the side surface of the main body container and the packing of the lid are sealed, and the inside of the container is replaced with nitrogen and the reduced pressure is maintained. This can prevent solidification of the surface of the ink.

[Effect of the present invention] a) Since it is not necessary to caulk the lid to the outside of the main container, the filling device can be simplified. B) When a thin metal plate is joined to produce a can, the lid and the main container have high elasticity. Therefore, it can be said that the lid is covered and fixed to the main container by a method suitable for the manufacturing method. That is, the present invention is very suitable for making the can thin and inexpensive. C) Since it is more appropriate to use a can for drawing without drawing, it is easy to provide projections due to its thinness.
Easy to manufacture. D) Since the protrusions elastically mesh with each other, for example, a force is reliably applied to seal the packing of the lid and the upper end of the side surface of the main body container, so that reliable sealing can be achieved. E) In the case of a twist can, the force for pressing the lid against the container body can be easily adjusted. F) In the case of a twisted can, the lid can be closed in some cases without rotational movement. G) When opening the lid, it is possible to easily open the lid without adversely affecting later sealing by lifting the lid without tools by a person without a rotating motion. H) Even if the lid is opened, when the lid is closed again, the force of pressing the lid against the main body is retained by the elastic engagement of the projections, so that the sealing can be kept intact. I) When the projections that engage with each other are slightly inclined from the horizontal, the force for pushing down the lid can be adjusted by appropriately devising their positions. D) Good sealing performance eliminates the need to use a perch to prevent solidification of the surface, eliminates manual work, and can be adapted to automatic filling machines.
