Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a negative pressure sufficient for sucking the humor with simple manipulation by adhering a rigid thermoplastic resin member to part of a container wall having elasticity, generating the negative pressure in the container by discharge of the air in the container and constituting the device in such a manner that the humor from the wound part of a human body is sucked and stored by the restitutive force of the container. SOLUTION: The humor suction and collection device 1 is mainly composed of a thermoplastic elastomer member 9, to part of which the rigid thermoplastic resin member 8 is adhered. The humor suction and collection device 1 is provided with a liquid collection port 3 for connection of an induction tube 2. A back flow preventive valve 4 is installed at this liquid collection port 3 and a liquid drain port 5 is disposed alongside the liquid collection port 3. To use the device, a user sufficiently compresses the plane part of the humor suction and collection device 1 with the hand to discharge air from the liquid drain port 5 and closes a cap 7 of the liquid drain port 5. When the negative pressure is generated in the humor suction and collection device 1 and the plate clamp 6 of the liquid collection port 3 is removed to open the port, the humor oozing out of the wound cavity is sucked through the induction tube 2 into the humor suction and collection device 1 by the negative pressure in the humor suction and collection device 1.

A mechanism for generating a negative pressure in the suction liquid collector is as follows.
Those known so far are roughly classified into the following four types. The first type is a so-called vacuum bottle in which the inside of a rigid hermetically sealed container is preliminarily depressurized. This type has the convenience that it can be used immediately after connecting the tube. The second is a method disclosed in JP-A-59-97666 or the like, in which an expandable and contractible container is compressed in advance to reduce its internal volume, and a negative pressure is applied to the container by utilizing the recovery force of the container. This type has the advantage that the configuration is relatively simple.

A third method is disclosed in JP-A-57-81346, JP-A-57-78861, or the like, in which a stretchable elastic member (spring or rubber) is built in a container. This is a mechanism that compresses the container, that is, contracts the elastic member to reduce the internal volume, generates a negative pressure in the container by the recovery force of the elastic member, and performs suction liquid collection. And
The fourth is JP-A-48-65791, and JP-B-55-6571.
As disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 15220 and the like, an elastic member (balloon or diaphragm) capable of being inflated and contracted is built in a rigid container, and the elastic member is inflated by internal air supply or mechanical means. In accordance with this, the rigid container is evacuated, a negative pressure is generated in the container by the force of contraction of the elastic member, and the liquid is sucked and collected.

[0005] When aspirating body fluid from the wound cavity, there is a difference depending on the site to be used. However, since the body fluid is viscous in orthopedic surgery, the negative pressure of the suction collector is -80 mmHg continuous suction, and In surgery (mamma), since the body fluid has a low viscosity, continuous suction of about −40 mmHg is desirable. However, in the first type, since the suction pressure in the container is merely reduced in advance, the suction pressure decreases as the suction collection proceeds in the container, and the negative pressure cannot be maintained during the suction collection. ,
It has the drawback of not being able to sufficiently aspirate body fluids,
When the container is full of drainage, use of this product is completed, and it cannot be set after the second time, and the function can not be fulfilled. Even if it can be set after the second time, the user uses another negative pressure source. Therefore, a negative pressure must be applied to the inside of the container, and there is a disadvantage that handling is complicated.

In the second type, a soft plastic material, such as a soft vinyl chloride resin, which can compress the container by hand is often selected. However, as the body fluid accumulates in the container, the negative pressure drops rapidly. This has the disadvantage that the negative pressure cannot be maintained during the suction liquid collection, the appropriate negative pressure cannot always be applied to the wound cavity, and the body fluid cannot be sufficiently suctioned. Therefore, some rubber materials are used in order to reduce fluctuations in suction pressure due to an increase in body fluids. In this case, however, the initial recovery of rubber elasticity is large, and similar to the above-mentioned materials, body fluids are stored in a container. Accumulates and a negative pressure drop occurs. In the case of a material having a small initial rubber elasticity recovery force, the negative pressure is kept almost constant at about −20 mmHg. However, this suction pressure is insufficient in an actual clinical setting, and a negative pressure always suitable for a wound cavity is required. There was a drawback that pressure could not be applied and body fluid could not be sufficiently suctioned. Furthermore, with these materials, when the container is compressed to generate suction pressure, the entire surface of the container is sufficiently compressed and it is difficult to exhaust all the air in the container. It is necessary to design by taking the volume into account, and there is a disadvantage that the container is bulky.

In the third type, the body fluid accumulates in the container due to the characteristics of the recovery force of the elastic member, that is, the spring, rubber, etc., and the recovery force suddenly weakens. However, there is a disadvantage that the negative pressure cannot be maintained during the suction liquid collection, an appropriate negative pressure cannot always be applied to the wound cavity, and the body fluid cannot be sufficiently suctioned. In the fourth type, by selecting an appropriate elastic member (such as a balloon made of natural rubber), even if accumulation of body fluid in the container progresses, a sudden decrease in negative pressure does not occur, and almost all the suction fluid is collected during suction. It has the advantage of maintaining a constant suction pressure, but requires a mechanism to expand the elastic member (balloon or diaphragm), and the container is bulky and the operation to generate the initial negative pressure by expanding the elastic member is necessary. There was a problem of complexity.

The bodily fluid suction collector (1) of the present invention is a thermoplastic elastomer member (9) so that a constant suction pressure can be obtained in the process of deforming and restoring the bottle by compressing it.
And a hard thermoplastic resin member (8) adhered to at least a part of the wall. With only the thermoplastic elastomer member (9), the suction liquid collecting bottle (1)
As described above, it is difficult to compress and exhaust all the air in the container, and it is necessary to increase the volume in the container in advance in consideration of the uncompressed volume of the container, that is, the volume not evacuated. However, by having the hard thermoplastic resin member (8), the body fluid suction / collecting device (1) can be easily and efficiently compressed, and the air in the container can be almost exhausted, so that the volume of the container is collected. The volume inside the container can be used without waste. In addition, if only the thermoplastic elastomer member (9) is used, the recovery of the container after compression recovers rapidly in the initial stage, and then recovers gradually thereafter. A drop occurs, the negative pressure cannot be maintained during the suction collection, and the body fluid cannot be sufficiently suctioned. However, by adhering the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) to the wall, the thermoplastic elastomer member (9) becomes harder. In order to achieve a constant recovery, a constant suction pressure is maintained during the suction and collection, and an appropriate negative pressure can always be applied to the wound cavity, and a good suction and collection can be performed. Is obtained.

The body fluid suction / collecting device (1) is preferably colorless, transparent or translucent in order to confirm the properties, amount, etc. of the collected body fluid, and the material of the thermoplastic elastomer member (9). It has a toughness to the extent that it is difficult to break when used in mobile walking, etc. In addition, taking into account the generation of negative pressure, the restoring force when the compressed body fluid suction collector (1) is restored, That is, an elastomer having a large elastic modulus, for example, a styrene-based elastomer, an olefin-based elastomer,
It is preferable to use a PVC elastomer, a urethane elastomer or the like. From the viewpoint of weight reduction, styrene or olefin elastomers are more preferable.

The shape of the body fluid suction / collecting device (1) may be any of a round shape (a disc shape), a spherical shape, a square shape (a cubic shape, a rectangular parallelepiped shape), and the like, but a shape which is easy to carry and use is preferable. The structure of the bodily fluid suction / collecting device (1) may be such that the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) may be bonded to either the inner wall surface or the outer wall surface of the thermoplastic elastomer member (9). From the viewpoint of the above, according to the shape of the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) to be brought into contact, a recess is formed in the thermoplastic elastomer member (9), and the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) is bonded to the recess. Preferably. From the viewpoint of easy production, a structure in which the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) is bonded to the outer wall surface of the thermoplastic elastomer member (9) is more preferable. The wall thickness suitable for the body fluid suction / collecting device (1) varies depending on the volume of the thermoplastic elastomer member (9), the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) and the volume of the liquid collection / suction bottle. From the viewpoint of the above, about 3 to 10 mm is preferable.

As the hard thermoplastic resin member (8), a material having higher elasticity than at least the thermoplastic elastomer member (9) can be used, and the portability and weight of the liquid collecting bottle, the visibility of the liquid collecting contents, and the like can be improved. In consideration of repeated deformation and recovery for liquid collection, the thickness is preferably as thin as about 0.5 to 2 mm, and it is colorless, transparent or translucent enough to allow the contents of the collected liquid to be confirmed, and has bending elasticity and bending rigidity. However, it is preferable to use a material having a large particle size and good impact characteristics and impact resistance. Examples of amorphous resins are styrene resins, polycarbonate resins,
Examples of the methacrylate resin include a crystalline resin, such as a polyethylene resin, a polypropylene resin, a polyamide resin, and a polyester resin. Here, since the styrene resin has high transparency, it is preferable particularly when the transparency of the body fluid suction liquid collector is desired. In addition, since polyamide resin and polyester resin have high heat resistance, it is particularly desirable to heat-mold the resin together with the thermoplastic elastomer member (9). The shape of the hard thermoplastic resin member (8) is not particularly limited, but those having a large number of holes and grooves on the surface are preferable from the viewpoint of adhesiveness to the thermoplastic elastomer member (9).

In using the body fluid suction / collection device of the present invention, the lid (7) of the drain port (5) of the body fluid suction / collection device (1) is opened to guide the body fluid to the wound cavity of the human body. The tube (2) is inserted into the liquid collecting port (3), and the lower part of the liquid collecting port (3) is closed with a plate clamp (6). After completing the above preparation, the flat part of the suction liquid collecting bottle (1) is sufficiently compressed by hand to discharge air from the liquid discharging port (5) into the atmosphere, and the lid of the liquid discharging port (5) is closed. Close (7). Here, the inside of the bodily fluid suction / collecting device (1) becomes negative pressure, and when the plate clamp (6) of the collecting port (3) is removed and opened, induction is caused by the negative pressure in the bodily fluid suction / collecting device (1). The body fluid exuding from the wound cavity through the tube (2) is sucked into the body fluid suction collector (1). When the collection and storage of bodily fluids progresses and the bodily fluid suction / collection device (1) recovers to its original state and the inside of the bodily fluid suction / collection device (1) becomes full, the lid of the drainage port (3) is opened. (7) is removed and the body fluid suction / collecting device (1) is tilted to discharge the body fluid. When re-suctioning, the same operation is repeated.

EXAMPLES Hereinafter, the difference from the prior art will be clarified by Examples and Comparative Examples. [Example] Wall thickness 5 made of styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer
1.5mm wall thickness on the outer wall of an elastic container of 170mm (170mL)
After compressing and discharging almost all the air in the container to the atmosphere with a bottle bonded with a hard member made of polypropylene,
Table 1 shows a suction pressure curve in which a negative pressure is generated in the container by the restoring force of the container and the liquid is suction-collected. [Comparative Example 1] An elastic grenade-type bottle (100 mL) with a thickness of 5 mm made of soft vinyl chloride was compressed to reduce the internal volume, and a negative pressure was generated in the container by the restoring force of the container. Table 1 shows a suction pressure curve for suction and liquid collection. [Comparative Example 2] A container (200 mL) in which upper and lower portions are made of hard members, and a stretchable elastic member (spring) is built in between them.
Table 1 shows a suction pressure curve for compressing, that is, contracting the elastic member to reduce the internal volume, generating a negative pressure in the container by the recovery force of the elastic member, and performing suction liquid collection.
