2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 11A, a conventional pillow has a central portion 1 of an upper surface U of a pillow P which is low and a right end 2 and a left end 3 are gently raised. As shown in FIG. 11B, the central portion 1 of the upper surface U of the pillow P is depressed in a round shape, and the right end 2 and the left end 3 are high. As shown in FIG. It is common that a hole is made in the center 1 of P in a round shape. In these prior arts, as shown in FIG. 12, when the head 71 is placed directly on the central portion 1 of the upper surface portion U of the pillow P, the central portion 1 is lowered and the right end 2 and the left end 3 are raised. , The pillow is shaped so that the directly upward head 71 does not move.

When sleeping, humans frequently move their bodies rather than staying in the same posture for a long time. In particular, the head moves a lot to improve blood flow in the neck. However, with conventional pillows, the head position is fixed and the structure is difficult to move. Therefore, when the face of the head is turned sideways while lying on its back, as shown in FIG. 12, in the pillow P in which the depression in the center 1 is large and the right end 2 and the left end 3 are high, FIG.
As shown in FIG.
The face is turned to the right like the right-sided head 72 in (b), and the pillow P is replaced. Further, as shown in FIG. 14, in the pillow P having a small depression in the central portion 1, the head 71 has a face facing directly upward.
With the right-sided head 72 with the head turned to the right and the face turned to the right side, and similarly the left-sided head 73 with the face turned to the left side, the upper surface U of the pillow P is climbed toward the left and right end portions. Thus, the trajectory L of the head center O draws a downward arc where the right lateral head 72 and the left lateral head 73 are high, and the overhead head 71 is low. Therefore,
The head is most stable when the head is directly upward 71
The left lateral head 73 is unstable and tries to roll toward the central part 1. For this reason, a force is required on the neck and shoulders in order to turn sideways, and a holding force is required on the neck and shoulders in order to maintain the sideways state.

[0004] As described above, even when the conventional pillow is lying on the back, it is impossible to place the face in a horizontal position, and a burden is applied to the neck and shoulders. In addition, due to this burden, the movement of the head and neck is restricted, resulting in insufficient blood circulation, and many people suffer from difficulty in sleeping well and suffering from headache, neck and shoulder stiffness, and the like. An object of the present invention is to provide a pillow that eliminates these drawbacks and enables a good night's sleep and a comfortable wake-up.

In general, when a person is lying on his back and turning sideways, he rolls his head and turns his face sideways. Therefore, if there is a low dent in the valley between the central part of the upper surface of the pillow and the left and right side edges, when the face is turned sideways, a force acts on the head to roll down into the valley. By this action, the head inevitably rolls, and the face can be turned easily and effortlessly. When the face is turned sideways, the head becomes stuck in the depression in the valley, and the depression supports and stabilizes the head. Also, when the face is turned back, the head has a large diameter and the pillow is soft, so that the head can be rolled lightly and returned without difficulty. In addition, the provision of the recess in the center stabilizes the head even when the face is directed directly upward.

[0008] As described above, according to the pillow of the present invention in which the valleys are provided between the central portion of the upper surface of the pillow and the left and right side edges, and the recess is provided in the central portion, the head can be easily and laterally moved. It has the effect of being able to sleep without burden on the neck and shoulders.

The operation of the pillow P of the embodiment will be specifically described below with reference to FIG. The directly upward head 71 placed on the recess 4 in the central portion 1 of the upper surface U of the pillow P is lightly supported by the recess 4 and is stable. When a slight force is applied to turn right, the head 71 directly overturns easily and easily to the right with a sense of rolling down to the right valley portion 5, and stabilizes in the right valley portion 5 like the right horizontal head 72. Also, when returning, the right lateral head 72 is rolled with a small force to the concave portion 4 of the central portion 1 because the radius of the head (not shown) is larger than the depth of the right valley portion 5 and the pillow P is softly dented. It can be returned to the head 71. Similarly, when going to the left, the head can be easily turned to the left lateral head 73 and returned.

Thus, the pillow P according to the embodiment of the present invention is described.
According to the head center O, the right lateral head 72 supported and stabilized by the right valley 5 and the left lateral head 73 supported and stabilized by the left valley 6 are the lowest. A stable straight upward head 71 draws the locus L of the highest loose convex arc. Therefore, the head can be easily turned sideways without any excessive force. In addition, the head can be stabilized at the positions of the right-sided head 72 facing right, the left-sided head 73 facing left, and the right-sided head 71 facing directly upward, and during sleep, the head is moved unconsciously. Even so, the burden on the neck and shoulders is small. Also,
Since the right valley portion 5 and the left valley portion 6 are V-shaped, their ears do not obstruct when facing sideways.

Therefore, even if the head while sleeping is moved,
Even if it is stopped, there is not much burden on the neck and shoulders, so it is in a free state, and the number of times of movement is inevitably increased. This results in good neck exercise and good circulation to the shoulders, neck and head. From this, neck and shoulder fatigue is eliminated during sleep, and neck and shoulder stiffness can be reduced. Also,
By not putting an unreasonable burden on the neck and shoulders and improving blood flow to the brain, you can sleep better, sleep less often, and wake up better. Furthermore, because the head can be moved easily,
Turns frequently, reducing snoring and apnea. Furthermore, by having dent in the center part and being able to move head freely,
It is also ideal as a pillow to shape the baby's head. Furthermore, since it can be turned sideways easily, it is a gentle pillow for inpatients and the elderly.
