Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated tube mounting fixture capable of covering an overlapping corrugated tube, so that the direction of an overlapping part is kept constant without sliding the corrugate tube on a wire harness. SOLUTION: This fixture body 5 includes a pair of sidewalls 5b, 5c on both sides of a bottom part 5a, so that its cross section may have a substantially U-shape with such a width that the wire harness is put into the bottom 5a, and the bottom 5a is inserted into an overlapping corrugated tube 1B from a slit part 2, and both sides of respective slit ends 2a, 2b of the slit part 2 of the overlapping corrugated tube 1B are supported by both sides walls 5b, 5c to keep an expanded condition. A notch 6 is formed at the rear part of one sidewall 5b of the fixture body 5 so as not to support one end 2b of the overlap type corrugate tube 1B supported by one sidewall 5b.

[0012] According to a second aspect of the present invention, a wire harness is provided by using a corrugated tube mounting jig to expand a corrugated tube provided with an expandable slit along the longitudinal direction. A method of attaching an overlap-type corrugated tube to a wire harness attached so that the slit edges on both sides of the slit portion are overlapped with each other, wherein the corrugated tube attaching jig is:
One on each side of the bottom so that the cross-sectional shape is almost U-shaped.
A pair of side walls are provided with a width capable of dropping the wire harness to the bottom side, and the bottom is inserted from the slit into the corrugated tube, and the both side walls are provided on both sides of the corrugated tube slit. A jig body that supports each slit edge and maintains an expanded state is provided. One of the side walls is a rear portion in a direction in which the jig body advances relatively to the corrugated tube. ,
A corrugated tube supported by the one side wall is provided with a notch so as not to support one edge of the slit, and the jig body is placed inside the corrugated tube with the bottom thereof facing down. The slit portion is expanded and inserted into the jig body, and the side wall portions of the jig body support the respective slit edges on both sides of the slit portion of the corrugated tube to maintain the expanded state. The wire harness is dropped to the bottom side from the upper portion between the jigs, and in this state, the jig body is relatively moved with respect to the corrugated tube so that the notch portion is located rearward, and the jig body is extracted.

According to such a method of mounting the overlap type corrugated tube on the wire harness, the slit portion is expanded in the corrugated tube with the jig main body with the bottom thereof down using the corrugated tube mounting jig. Opening and inserting, supporting the slit edges on both sides of the slit portion of the corrugated tube with both side walls of the jig body to maintain the expanded state, Since the wire harness was dropped to the bottom side from above and the jig body was moved relative to the corrugated tube and pulled out in such a state, the relative movement of the jig body As the slit edges on both sides of the corrugated tube come off from both side walls of the jig body at the rear in the direction, Each slit edge of each side of the cube is rather winding the wire harness so as to overlap.

[0014] At this time, one of the side walls of the jig body is provided at a rear portion in a direction in which the jig body is relatively advanced with respect to the corrugated tube. Since the notch is provided so as not to support one of the slit edges of the corrugated tube supported by the portion, the notch is supported by the notch behind the jig main body in the relative traveling direction. One of the slit edges is wound around the wire harness first,
Next, the other slit edge is wound so as to overlap with the one slit edge, and each slit edge on both sides of the slit portion of the corrugated tube is always one lower and the other upper. The corrugated tube can be attached to the wire harness so that the corrugated tube is oriented and overlapped.

This movement causes the slit edges 2a, 2b on both sides of the slit portion 2 of the corrugated tube 1B to be sequentially disengaged from the side walls 5b, 5c of the jig body 5 behind the jig body 5 in the traveling direction. Around the outer periphery of the wire harness 3. At this time, since the portion of the slit edge 2a of the corrugated tube 1B located at the location of the notch 6, that is, the rear end of the slit edge 2a is slightly wound inward, the jig is first used. The slit edge 2a not supported by the notch 6 behind the main body 5 in the relative traveling direction is wound around the wire harness first (FIG. 4), and then the slit edge 2b is connected to the slit edge. Wrap so as to overlap the part 2a,
When the jig body 5 is pulled out of the corrugated tube 1B, the corrugated tube 1B is overlapped with the slit edge 2b of the slit portion 2 of the corrugated tube 1B on the slit edge 2a. (FIG. 5).

As described above, when the corrugated tube 1A is mounted on the wire harness 3 using the corrugated tube mounting jig 4 according to the present invention, it is the jig body 5 that relatively moves. The jig body 5 has a relatively short length and a small frictional resistance with the wire harness 3, and there is no rubbing between the corrugated tube 1A and the wire harness 3, so that the corrugated tube 1A is connected to the wire harness 3. Installation work becomes easy.

Further, the both side wall portions 5 of the jig main body 5 are provided.
One of the side walls 5b of the corrugated tube 1B, which is supported by the side wall 5b, is provided at the rear of the side wall 5b, which is one of the side walls 5b and 5c, in the direction in which the jig main body 5 advances relatively to the corrugated tube 1B. The slit edge 2a
Since the notch 6 is provided so as not to support the jig body, the jig main body 5 is notched with respect to the corrugated tube 1B.
When the corrugated tube 1B is moved relatively so that it is later, the corrugated tube 1B always has the slit edge portion 2a supported by the side wall portion 5b provided with the notch portion 6 wrapped around the wire harness 3 first. The slit edge 2b is wound around the slit edge 2a so as to overlap the slit edge 2b, so that the direction of the overlap of the slit edges 2a and 2b on both sides of the slit 2 of the corrugated tube 1B is always constant. The corrugated tube 1

As described above, in the jig for mounting a corrugated tube according to the present invention, the jig body is inserted into the corrugated tube with its slit portion expanded with the bottom thereof facing down, and both sides of the jig body are inserted. The wall supports each slit edge on both sides of the corrugated tube slit to maintain the expanded state, and drops the wire harness to the bottom from the top between both side walls of the jig body, and cures in this state. The jig body is moved relatively to the corrugated tube, and the corrugated tube is wrapped around the wire harness at the back of the jig body in the relative traveling direction. The jig body has a relatively short length, a small frictional resistance, and can be mounted with a corrugated tube on a wire harness with good workability. One of the side walls has a rear portion in the direction in which the jig body advances relative to the corrugated tube, and one of the slit edges of the corrugated tube supported by the one side wall. Since the notch is provided so as not to support the part, when used for mounting the overlap type corrugated tube,
The corrugated tube can be attached to the wire harness such that the direction of the overlap portion is always constant.
