Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cost reduction by connecting a coaxial cable to corresponding connection parts of a communication apparatus with a one kind connector, in the case of a coaxial-cable connection device adapted so that the earth and the core are exposed by stripping off a cable covering and an inner insulation coating, and then the earth and core are connected to corresponding connection parts of an antenna of a communication apparatus by respective connection means. SOLUTION: On a control circuit board 11 of a communication apparatus, an earth pattern 13 is formed for supporting an earth 12 of a coaxial cable 1 and soldering them, and a live pattern 14 is formed by soldering a live connector 16 thereto for connecting a core 15 thereto. The live connector 16 is adapted to be elastically opened by inserting the core 15 therein, and formed into a U shape with its front end narrower than the diameter of the core and its rear end side wider than that so as to keep elastic contact with and conduct to the core 15 at all times. After the earth 12 is supported on the live pattern 14 of the control circuit board 11 and the core 15 is inserted into the live connector 16, the earth 12 is soldered to the earth pattern 13 and the coaxial cable 1 is connected to the control circuit board 11.

The live connector 16 allows the core wire 15 of the coaxial cable 1 to be elastically inserted from the ground pattern 13 side, and is always in elastic contact with the outer peripheral surface of the core wire 15 with a predetermined resilient force so as to be electrically connected. In order to conduct electricity, a metal strip having a predetermined elasticity is bent to form a U-shape on the front end side which is narrower than the diameter of the core wire 15 and the rear end side is wider than the diameter of the core wire. The width of the connector 16,
That is, the width of the strip is set slightly larger than the diameter of the core wire 15.

The support base 17 is made of a plate material having good electrical conductivity, and the height thereof is set to the live connector 16 by the core wire 15.
The height is set to insert smoothly. For this reason, when the ground 12 is placed on one end of the ground pattern 13 and the end of the ground 12 faces in the extending direction of the ground pattern 13, the core wire 15 of the coaxial cable 1 faces the insertion port 18 of the live connector 16. When the coaxial cable 1 is slid from the ground pattern 13 to the live pattern 14 in this state, the core wire 15 is smoothly fitted to the live connector 16.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a pair of regulating plates 19, 19 for vertically guiding both side surfaces of the live connector 16 are attached to the control board 11 with the live pattern 14 as a center, and the live pattern is mounted on the control board 11. If the inclination of the connector 16 to the left and right is regulated and the torsion is regulated, the work of inserting the core wire 15 into the live connector 16 can be further facilitated. In this case, the pair of regulating plates 19, 19 are formed by resin molding, and the live connector 1
6 and the support bases 17 are integrally formed by press molding, and both ends of the pair of support bases 17 are buried in the regulating plates 19 at the same time as the resin molding to form an integral part. The live connector 16 can be locked to the board by forming an engaging / disengaging portion that is engaged and disengaged by both the regulating plates 1 and 17 and the control board 11, pins, holes, and claws (none of which are shown). Well, and as shown in FIG.
The upper ends of the pair of regulating plates 19 are connected to a connecting plate 20.
The connecting plate 20 is provided with a window 21 for allowing the live connector 16 to expand in a vertical direction.
The two sides are integrally joined to form an integral part. As described above, the engaging and disengaging portions which are engaged and disengaged by the control plates 1 and 17, the control board 11, the pins, the holes, and the claws (none of which are shown). With this configuration, the live connector 16 may be locked to the board. At that time, each component can be used as a single connector, so that the handling of the components is greatly improved, and the number of steps for mounting the components on the control board 11 is greatly reduced. .

As shown in FIG. 4A, a U-shaped grounding metal 2 is placed on the grounding pattern of the control board 11 in advance.
2 is soldered, and when grounded, Fig. 4 (B)
As shown in FIG.
After the earth 12 is inserted between 3, 23, FIG.
As shown in (1), both the flanges 23 may be bent inward to fix the earth 12 to the earth metal fitting 22.
At that time, it is possible to prevent the deterioration of the connection quality due to the fraying of the ground 12 as much as possible, and it is possible to improve the reliability of the entire connection device as much as possible.
