のや、図5に示すような肉厚の薄い軟質塩化ビニル材等
で凹凸形状に形成したものがあるが、これらダクトホー
ス23の外周面はいずれも凹凸形状になっている。この
ため、上記構成のダクトホース23を丸鋸21に接続し
て被削材24の切断作業を行うと、図4及び図5に示す
ようにダクトホース23の外周凹凸面が被削材24の端
面角部に引っかかり丸鋸21による切断作業を円滑に行
え難くなるという不具合が生じていた。そこで、上記不
具合を解消するために外周部や内周部に凹凸を有さない
ダクトホースを使用することが考えられるが、引っかか
り難い反面、集塵機22の吸引圧力に耐えるべくホース
の厚さを薄くすることができないため、屈曲性が悪くな
ってしまうと共に重量も重くなってしまうため、集塵用
のダクトホース23には適していなかった。更に外周部
を平坦形状にすると共に内周部に凹凸を形成したダクト
ホースは、屈曲性が良く軽量である反面、ダクトホース
内の凹凸箇所に粉塵が溜まり易いという不具合が生じる
ことから、上記同様集塵用のダクトホース23には適し
ていなかった。

坦形状のカバー5を配している。ダクトホース3の外周
部とカバー5の内周部との間には、上記丸鋸1の電源コ
ード6を挿通可能な空間を設けている。またカバー5の
円筒形両端部には、カバー5をダクトホース3に固定す
るための紐7を縫いつけ、この紐7にはマジックテープ
(登録商標)を縫いつけることにより、カバー5はダク
トホース3に着脱自在に固定できる。丸鋸1の電源コー
ド6は、ダクトホース3を集塵機2または丸鋸1に接続
する前にカバー5の内径穴部に差し込むようにして組み
込む。このようなカバー5で覆われたダクトホース3
は、屈曲性を損なうことなく且つ外周面が平坦であるこ
とから、作業中にダクトホース3の外周凹凸面が被削材
