2. Description of the Related Art A conventional ring to which a jewel such as a diamond is attached is formed by bending a fixed claw, which is called a standing claw, provided upright so as to surround the jewel, so that a pressing portion of the fixed claw is an inclined surface of a crown portion of the jewel. The jewel is fixedly attached to the main body of the ring by contacting the middle part of the fixed claw with a wide area of the papillion part. However, jewelry that uses a conventional fixed nail to attach a jewel to the mounting part is also a ring of Tiffany's, a renowned jewelry store in New York that is said to shine the most diamond in the world, and the fixed nail is a crown of jewels The contact area between the fixed claw and the jewel increases due to the contact between the part and the papillion part in a wide range. However, since the fixed claw that abuts on the jewel changes the refraction of the light, the light of the jewel that is calculated and cut so that the light incident on the jewel does not efficiently refract and emits light effectively Reduce radiation. As a result, there is a problem that it is difficult to make the jewel shine as much as possible.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIGS. 1 to 9 show an embodiment of a jewel mounting portion and a mounting method according to the present invention. In this embodiment, a case where a diamond as a jewel is attached to a ring as an attachment will be described as an example. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the ring-shaped main body portion 12 of the ring 10, which is an attachment portion, is formed of a known platinum 900 including 90% by weight of platinum and 10% by weight of palladium. A finger hole 14 is formed in the main body 12, and a mounting recess 16 is formed in the head of the main body 12 so as to be depressed in an arc shape in vertical section. The inner surface of the mounting recess 16 has a substantially hemispherical reflecting surface 1.
8 so that light can be reflected more efficiently. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 7, a through hole 20 having a perfect circular shape in a plan view is formed at the bottom of the mounting recess 16.
The through hole 20 is formed through the finger hole 14. Four fixing claws 22 are fixed to the mounting recess 16 by so-called brazing so as to surround the through-hole 20 and stand upright. These fixed claws 22 are fixed so as to gradually expand from the base end 22A. When the fixed claws 22 are expanded and erected, the outer peripheral surface of the girdle portion 28 of the diamond 24 is fixed when the papillion portion 26 and the culet portion 27 of the diamond 24 to be disposed enter the through hole 20. A diagonal dimension W (see FIG. 7) of the fixed claw 22 is set so as to be supported by the abutment 22.
The fixed claw 22 is formed of platinum 900 having high elasticity. This platinum 900 rich in elasticity is different from the platinum 900 constituting the main body 12 so that it is richer in elasticity than the platinum 900 forming the main body 12 by adding another material instead of 10% by weight of palladium. Has become. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a diamond 24 is disposed inside the four fixing claws 22 in the mounting recess 16. As shown in FIG. 1, a papillion 26 and a curette of the diamond 24 are provided. 27 is inserted into the through hole 20. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the bent portion 22 </ b> B of the fixed claw 22 corresponds to the girdle portion 28 of the diamond 24. The bent portion 22B sandwiches the girdle portion 28 of the diamond 24 and a small portion 26A at the upper end of the papillion portion 26 by the elasticity of the fixed claw 22, and the small portion 26A at the upper end of the girdle portion 28 and the papillion portion 26 It is designed to cut into the bent portion 22B. Moreover, since the platinum 900 forming the fixing claw 22 is rich in elasticity, the diamond 24 is fixed by strongly holding the diamond 24. Pressing portion 2 of fixed claw 22
2C is formed short, and the crown portion 30 of the diamond 24 is formed.
Slightly in contact with the inclined surface 30A, and presses the diamond 24. Thus, the diamond 24 is attached to the attachment recess 16 of the main body 12 while being fixed by the fixing claw 22. The fixed claw 22
The tip of the pressing portion 22 </ b> C is rounded off to prevent clothes or the like from being caught on the fixed claws 22 as much as possible. Therefore, in this ring 10, the diamond 24 attached to the main body 12 is such that the short pressing portion 22C of the fixed claw 22 abuts against the inclined surface 30A of the crown 30 of the diamond 24, and the girdle portion 28 and the papillion portion 2 having a small width.
6 is the bent portion 2 of the fixed claw 22.
Since it is fixed only by biting into 2B, the contact surface between the fixed claw 22 and the diamond 24 can be extremely reduced. For this reason, since the influence of the fixed claw 22 is hardly affected, the brightness of the diamond 24 can be calculated and the cut made on the diamond 24 can be fully utilized. As a result, as shown in FIG.
H incident on the table surface 30B of the crown portion 30 of FIG.
1 is efficiently refracted in the diamond 24 and radiated from the table surface 30B. The light H2 that has entered from the table surface 30B is emitted from the papillion portion 26, then enters the diamond 24 again, and is emitted from the table surface 30B. Further, the light H reflected on the reflecting surface 18 of the mounting recess 16 is
3 also enters from the papillion section 26 and is radiated from the table surface 30B, so that the brightness of the diamond 24 can be maximized. In addition, since the through-hole 20 is formed at the bottom of the mounting recess 16 of the ring 10, when the ring 10 is exhibited at a store or the like, light also enters through the through-hole 20 to shine the diamond 24. The value can be further increased and the commercial value can be further increased.

Next, a method of attaching the diamond 24 to the ring 10 will be described. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the main body 1 in which the mounting recess 16 is formed in advance.
The fixed claw 22 in a long state is arranged in the mounting recess 16 of the second,
The base end portion 22A of the fixed claw 22 is erected and fixed so as to surround the through hole 20 by so-called brazing. At this time, the fixed claw 22
Is fixed so as to gradually expand upward from the base end 22A. Next, as shown in FIG. 8, a diamond 24 is disposed between the long fixed claws 22 from above, and the table surface 30B of the diamond 24 is strongly pressed with a finger or the like to push the diamond 24 into place.
The girdle portion 28 of the diamond 24 is pinched and supported by the inclined fixed claw 22 at the point where the linear dimension of the girdle portion 28 and the diagonal dimension W (see FIG. 7) of the fixed claw 22 coincide with each other. Is prevented from falling any further. At this time, the papillion 26 and the curette 27 of the diamond 24 are already inserted into the through-hole 20. Then, as shown in FIG. 9, the distal end portion of the long fixed claw 22 is bent toward the fixed claw 22 facing each other. At this time, the pressing portion 22C of the fixed claw 22 is positioned on the inclined surface 3 of the crown portion 30 of the diamond 24.
The fixed claw 22 is strongly bent so as to press 0A. By bending the fixed claw 22, a bent portion 22B is formed in an intermediate portion of the fixed claw 22, and the bent portion 22B strongly contacts the girdle portion 28 of the diamond 24, and the girdle portion 28 and the papillion portion 26 A small portion 26A of the upper end portion is in a state of deeply biting into the bent portion 22B of the fixed claw 22. Further, the diamond 24 is slightly pressed downward by bending the fixed claw 22, and is strongly held by the fixed claw 22 due to the elasticity of the fixed claw 22. When the pressing force applied to the fixed claw 22 is released in this state, the tip of the fixed claw 22 is restored, but the diamond 24 is securely fixed to the fixed claw 22. Then, the front end of the pressing portion 22C of the fixed claw 22 is cut off, and the front end of the pressing portion 22C is chamfered, thereby completing the operation of attaching the diamond 24.
