As described above, the type in which the drain plate is slidably fitted and supported on the guide rail is as follows.
In the fully closed state of the lid, a space is required between the rear edge of the lid and the drain plate, which corresponds to the downward stroke of the rear of the lid when the lid is opened. The height of the front wall must be set considerably lower than the height of the rear wall.If water leaking from the rear edge of the lid drips into the drain plate and bounces, water enters the room over the low front wall. In order to prevent such a risk, a vertical wall member made of an elastic material is conventionally fitted to the front wall surface of the drain plate, and the vertical wall member projects above the front wall surface of the drain plate. By doing so, splashing in the room direction is prevented, and when the rear part of the lid is lowered, the vertical wall member is elastically deformed by being pushed by the lid, so that the lowering of the rear part of the lid is not hindered.

When the vertical surface portion 71 is elastically deformed by the raising and lowering operation of the lid 3 as described above, the reaction force is applied to the fitting portion of the mounting portion 72 to the front wall surface 42. Since the wall surface and the inner surface of the front wall surface 42 are in contact with the projection 74, they are much more easily elastically compressed and deformed than in the case of the entire inner wall surface, and the spring action due to the elastically compressed deformation is large. The pressure contact between the inner wall surface on the front side of the vertical groove 73 and the outer surface of the front wall surface 42 is further increased, the mounting strength of the mounting portion 72 as a whole is sufficiently increased, and the reaction force of the elastic deformation of the vertical surface portion 71 is ensured.
