収納する外筒と、該外筒の内周と該ハニカム構造体の外
周間に介在して該ハニカム構造体を該外筒に支持する支
持部材とを備えた、耐熱性金属材料からなるメタル担体
において、該支持部材として複数のリング部材を採用し
て、これらの各リング部材を該ハニカム構造体の軸方向
に間隔を保持して配設したことを特徴とするメタル担
体。1.
