PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a metal fixture which enables a receptacle to be mounted simply and reliably on a wall surface. SOLUTION: This receptacle metal fixture is constituted of mounting screws 3 extending from upper and lower parts of a mounting plate 2 of a receptacle body 1, threadably mounting bifurcated U-shaped insert plates 4 having leaf- spring elasticity on the mounting screws 3, cutting slide grooves 6, 6 in leg parts 5, 5 of the insert plates 4, and causing straddle plates 7 to stride them and to be threadably fitted at the middle to the mounting screws 3.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a metal fitting for attaching an electric outlet to a wall or the like.

Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 4, a conventional outlet is provided around an installation plate, and an outlet main body and a U-shaped metal fitting are screwed with mounting screws. However, in this case, the mounting hole of the metal fitting is a small hole having a diameter of 2 to 3 mm, and the mounting screw is aimed at the mounting hole and depends on the intuition of a craftsman. According to the present invention, there is provided an outlet mounting bracket in which a mounting screw is vertically extended from a mounting plate of an outlet body, and the mounting screw is provided with a bifurcated U-shaped clamping plate having the elasticity of a leaf spring. The clamping plate is screwed, a slide groove is cut in a leg portion of the holding plate, and the open leg plate is made to crotch and screwed to the mounting screw at the center.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A mounting screw 3 is extended from a mounting plate 2 of an outlet main body 1. A bifurcated U-shaped clamping plate 4 having the elasticity of a leaf spring is combined with the extended mounting screw 3. The leg-opening plate 7 is engaged with the mounting screw 3 while being put on the forked legs 5 and 5 of the holding plate 4 and combined. Slide grooves 6 and 6 are formed in the legs 5 and 5 so that the opening leg plate 7 can be moved up and down by rotation of the mounting screw 3. According to the above construction, the present invention provides: (1) In mounting the outlet on the wall surface, the mounting is completed only by rotating the mounting screw. The troublesome work of inserting the mounting bracket into the wall and fitting a screw into the small hole as in the conventional case is eliminated. (2) Even work in a narrow place can be performed without difficulty. (3) The configuration is also simple because the clamping plate is a combination of an open leg plate, so that the manufacturing cost is low.
