Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both energizing and assembling performance of a rod antenna by attaching the rod antenna in a contact state to mounting metal fittings that are inserted into a printed board and conductive to a land and also fixing the rod antenna of a rod antenna attachment mechanism to the fittings by means of a screw. SOLUTION: The mounting metal fittings 2 is inserted into a hole of a printed board, dipped into a solder vessel and soldered to a land. A screw 4 which is holding a housing 5 with the parts 2 is screwed into a screw hole 1a of a rod antenna 1 to fix the antenna 1. The fastening force of the screw 4 affects a contact surface between the antenna 1 and the parts 2 to secure the satisfactory contact pressure. Thus, the satisfactory energizing performance is secured and also the assembling performance is improved since no soldering job is required. The screw 4 which is inserted at the lower side of the housing 5 holds the parts 2 with the housing 5 and screwed into the hole 1a of the antenna 1. Thereby the screw 4 can be fastened at the lower side of the housing 5.
