The upper surface of one of the opposite side walls of the container main body and the opposing surface of the lid member corresponding to the upper surface are provided with engaging portions that can be fitted to each other, and the other opposing side of the container main body is provided. A foamed synthetic resin molded container characterized in that upper portions of both side walls and both side portions of a lid member corresponding to the side walls are slidably engaged with each other.
