In the air chamber connection structure according to the second aspect of the present invention, a reinforcing tape is applied along a bonding portion between the outer peripheral surface of one end of the air chamber and the outer peripheral surface of the other air chamber. The reinforcing tape is configured to cover the joint between the two air chambers and the bonding margin of the lid cloth folded back and adhered to the outer peripheral surface along the opening edge of one end of the one air chamber. Therefore, the reinforcing tape improves the bonding strength at the bonding portion, and effectively prevents the bonding between the bonding surface of the cover cloth and the outer peripheral surface of the other air chamber from peeling off. At the same time, the joint part of both air chambers exposed in the same part and the adhesion allowance of the cover cloth are completely covered to improve the appearance. Also,
If the reinforcing tape is provided with airtightness, all of the bonding margin of the cover cloth folded back and adhered to the outer peripheral surface along the opening edge of one end of one air chamber is covered. In the case where an airtight leak occurs in the bonding margin portion, it is possible to reliably prevent the airtight leak by applying the reinforcing tape.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, the one air chamber and the other air chamber are configured as independent air chambers, and each of the air chambers is connected before the two air chambers are connected. Air is supplied from the air supply / exhaust ports provided for each air chamber, and the airtightness of both air chambers is inspected. It is possible to perform an airtight inspection for each individual air chamber. Therefore,
Compared to the case where both air chambers are connected and the airtightness inspection is performed in a state where they are connected in a single air chamber, the airtightness inspection of both air chambers can be easily performed in a relatively small state before connection, and Even when an airtight leak is found, the location of the airtight leak can be specified for each air chamber, so that the work of finding the airtight leak can be easily performed.
