[Claims] 1. A liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an absorber positioned between these two sheets, and extending outward in the width direction from both longitudinal edges of the absorber. In a diaper with a pair of side flaps provided, on the surface of each of the side flaps, a pair of folds formed to be stretchable and having free edges are provided along the absorber, respectively. A sheet-shaped leak-resistant member is formed by fixing the gripper along the longitudinal direction of the diaper, and one of the pair of folds has its free edge inward in the width direction of the absorber. The diaper of the present invention is characterized in that each free edge is provided so as to face outward in the width direction of the absorber. 2. The diaper according to claim 1, wherein the leakage resistance members forming the pair of folds are provided so as to stand up at the crotch when the diaper is used. 3. The diaper according to claim 1, wherein each of said folds has an elastic member on said free edge. 4. The diaper according to claim 1, wherein the front and rear portions of the leakage resistance member in the longitudinal direction are fixed to a topsheet.
