By the way, in recent years, planting on the floor surface made of artificial ground has been popular as seen in roof gardens and the like. If you install the roof drain a, large dust such as leaves can be removed by the strainer e, but fine earth and sand will flow into the gutter pipe g together with rainwater, and will accumulate in the gutter pipe g and at its outlet. There was a problem that it would clog the g.

In such a structure, when the earth and sand flow into the drainage pipe together with rainwater from the surrounding floor through the saucer,
Sediment is collected by the storage housing housed in the drain pipe portion, and only filtered rainwater is flowed from the water passage portion to the gutter pipe. As a result, it is possible to prevent clogging of the gutter pipe due to the accumulation of sediment. Further, since the storage housing is removable, the storage housing can be removed from the drain pipe section as necessary to discard the earth and sand accumulated inside.

In such a structure, when the earth and sand flow into the drain pipe together with the rainwater, the earth and sand having a large specific gravity settle in the earth and sand reservoir of the storage housing housed in the drain pipe, and the upper portion of the earth and sand reservoir. Rainwater overflows from the water passage located in the area and flows out into the gutter pipe. As a result, a good effect of separating the sediment from the rainwater can be obtained, and the sediment deposited in the sediment reservoir can be efficiently collected.

Further, in the above-mentioned structure, it is possible to propose a preferred embodiment in which the water passage portion is composed of a wire mesh or a punching metal having innumerable small holes. Here, since it is easy to appropriately set the size of the mesh of the wire mesh and the diameter of the innumerable small holes according to the size of the particles of the earth and sand to be collected, the predetermined particles can be obtained without impairing the water-passing action. Greater than or equal to sediment can be effectively collected.

Next, the earth and sand collecting device which is the gist of the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, this earth and sand collecting device is composed of a storage housing 13 detachably housed in the drain pipe portion 4 of the roof drain 1. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the storage housing 13 has a disc-shaped locking edge 15 protruding in the outer peripheral direction, which is connected to an upper end of a main body 14 formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape. A rainwater inflow port 16 that matches the inner diameter of the main body 14 is opened in the locking edge 15. Then, the main body 14 is inserted into the drainage pipe portion 4 from above, and the locking edge 15 is locked to the upper surface of the opening edge of the drainage pipe portion 4, whereby the storage housing 13 is detachable. Further, a plurality of laterally protruding fixing pieces 17 are arranged on the locking edge 15 at predetermined intervals along the circumferential direction. Each fixed piece 17 has its base fixed to the upper surface of the locking edge 15, and its tip is a folded edge 17 'folded back in two so as to have appropriate elasticity. And
As shown in FIG. 1, the folding edge 17 ′ is fitted into the gap 9 and is clamped by the upper surface of the tray portion 3 and the lower surface of the lower collar edge 7 of the strainer 6, thereby fixing the storage housing 13. I am trying. Further, a handle 22 formed by bending a wire rod into a U-shape is attached to the locking edge 15 so that the storage housing 13 can be easily handled when attached and detached.

The body 14 of the storage housing 13 is provided at its lower part with a sediment reservoir 18 surrounded by a bottom plate 14a and a peripheral wall plate 14b. Further, the sediment reservoir 1 is provided.
A water passage portion 19 is provided on the upper part of 8. The water passage portion 19
Is formed by stretching a wire net 21 in a single or a plurality of window holes 20 formed by cutting the peripheral wall plate 14b into a rectangular shape. Here, the size of the mesh of the wire net 21 can be appropriately set according to the size of the particles of earth and sand to be collected, and in particular, those of about # 10 to 30 can be preferably used. Then, the wire net 21 blocks the earth and sand so that only water can pass through.

In such a structure, when the roof drain 1 is installed on the planted floor surface f, when the rainfall occurs, the earth and sand from the surrounding floor surface f through the saucer portion 3 together with the rainwater drainage pipe portion. 4, the sediment and rainwater flow into the main body 14 through the inlet 16 of the storage housing 13 housed in the drainage pipe 4, and the interior of the sediment storage portion 18 therebelow is filled with water. Then, while the sediment having a large specific gravity is deposited on the bottom of the sediment reservoir 18, the rainwater that has passed through the wire net 21 from the water passage portion 19 arranged at the upper portion of the sediment reservoir 18 sequentially overflows to the gutter pipe 11 Spill to. As a result, the sediment and rainwater can be efficiently separated. In this way, by removing the soil mixed in the rainwater, it is possible to prevent clogging of the gutter pipe 11 due to the sediment flowing into the gutter pipe 11 and accumulated. Further, since the storage housing 18 is removable, the storage housing 18 can be removed from the drainage pipe portion 4 as necessary, and the earth and sand accumulated inside can be discarded.

As described above, according to the present invention, a storage housing having a water passage portion for blocking water and allowing only water to pass therethrough is detachably housed in a drain pipe portion of a roof drain. Therefore, when the earth and sand flow into the drainage pipe together with the rainwater from the surrounding floor surface, the storage housing stored in the drainage pipe can collect the earth and sand,
Only filtered rainwater can be drained from the water passage to the gutter. As a result, it is possible to prevent clogging of the gutter pipe due to the accumulation of sediment. Further, since the storage housing is removable, the storage housing can be removed from the drain pipe section as necessary to discard the earth and sand accumulated inside.

Further, as described above, the present invention provides a storage housing which is provided with a sedimentation portion at the lower portion and a water passage portion capable of blocking the sedimentation and passing only water at the upper portion of the sedimentation portion. Is designed to be removably housed in the drain pipe part of the roof drain, so when soil and sand flow into the drain pipe part with rainwater,
Sediment having a large specific gravity is settled in the sediment storage portion of the storage housing housed in the drainage pipe portion, and rainwater overflows from the water passage portion disposed above the sediment storage portion and flows out into the gutter pipe. As a result, despite the simple structure, a good separating action between the sediment and the rainwater can be obtained, and the sediment deposited in the sediment reservoir can be efficiently collected.

Further, by constructing the water passage portion by a wire mesh or a punching metal having a large number of small holes, the size of the mesh of the wire mesh and the diameter of the large number of small holes are determined by the size of the particles of earth and sand to be collected. Since it is easy to set appropriately according to the above, it is possible to effectively collect the sediment having a predetermined particle size or more without impairing the water-passing action.

Further, the storage housing is provided with an upper surface of a saucer portion,
By providing a plurality of fixing pieces that are fitted into the gap formed between the strainer and the lower surface of the strainer that is attached to the tray to fix the storage housing, the storage housing can be operated by the pressure of rainwater flowing into the storage housing. It is possible to prevent rattling or misalignment. Further, the earth and sand collecting device according to the present invention has an excellent effect that it can be used as an attachment even for an existing roof drain.
