Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the component cost and to obtain stable antenna characteristics by providing an inverted F type antenna made of a metallic plate and a printed circuit board which has its earth pattern connected thereto. SOLUTION: The inverted F type antenna 11 consists of a radiation conductor plate 11a, a connection part 11b connected to the upper surface 13a of the printed circuit board(PCB) 13 of a low-noise amplifier, and a conductor part 11c which holds the radiation conductor plate 11a and connection part 11b in parallel. A circuit part such as an antenna circuit is present on the reverse surface 13b of the PCB 13 and is connected to the radiation conductor plate 11b through a conductor part 14. The inverted F type antenna is formed of a metallic plate of iron, copper, stainless steel, etc., and the GND solid surface is used on the side of the upper surface 13a by providing a GND plate on the reverse surface of the component surface of the PCB 13. The metallic plate used as the material of the inverted F type antenna 11 has high heat radiation and never varies characteristics with the heat of the sunshine, and therefore no influence is exerted on the antenna characteristics and this device is more inexpensive than ceramic, thereby reducing the component cost.
