Therefore, even when the air-conditioning operation is stopped, the operating power is constantly supplied from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit, and an outdoor temperature sensor for detecting the outdoor air temperature by the power supplied to the outdoor unit is provided. There is known a hot water heating type air conditioner in which a freezing prevention operation is performed by operating a heating means or a circulation pump in accordance with a temperature detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor. According to this hot water heating type air conditioner, when the outdoor air temperature becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature at which there is a possibility of freezing when the air conditioning operation is stopped, an antifreeze operation in which a heating means is operated in addition to the circulation pump or the circulation pump is performed. This can prevent the water in the circulation circuit from freezing. However, even when the air-conditioning operation is stopped, it is not preferable to supply operating power from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit in terms of saving power consumption.

When the user operates the remote controller 6 to start the air-conditioning operation, the relay switch 14 is closed by the power supply control means 9 in response thereto, and electric power is supplied from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2. At this time, the gas solenoid valve 25 is controlled by the second control means 21 in the outdoor unit 2.
Is opened, the opening of the gas proportional valve 26 is adjusted, the ignition plug 23 is operated, and the relay switches 31 and 32 are closed. As a result, gas is supplied from the gas supply path 22, and the ignition plug 23 ignites the gas and the combustion fan 24
As a result, combustion air is sent to burn the burner 19. Then, the water in the circulation circuit 3 is heated through the outdoor heat exchanger 18 to become hot water, and the hot water is supplied to the circulation pump 2.
0 circulates through the circulation circuit 3. At this time, the relay switch 17 is controlled by the first control means 7 in the indoor unit 1.
Is closed, the indoor fan 5 operates, and the heat of the hot water in the circulation circuit 3 is radiated to the room through the indoor heat exchanger 4.

When the user operates the remote controller 6 to stop the air-conditioning operation, the relay switch 14 is opened by the power supply control means 9 in response thereto, and the power supply from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2 is stopped. Then, the indoor fan 5 is stopped in the indoor unit 1 and the operation of the burner 19 and the circulation pump 20 in the outdoor unit 2 is stopped. When the air-conditioning operation is stopped, power is supplied to the indoor unit 1 unless the plug 11 is removed from the outlet,
The outdoor air temperature sensor 8 constantly detects the outdoor air temperature. When the temperature detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor 8 is higher than the predetermined temperature, the relay switch 14 remains open, and power is not supplied from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2.
On the other hand, when the temperature detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor 8 is equal to or lower than the predetermined temperature, the relay switch 14 is closed by the power supply instruction means 10, and electric power is supplied from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2. In addition, the first control means 7 sends the communication line 3
An anti-freezing operation signal is transmitted to the second control means 21 via the control signal 3. Then, the circulation pump 20 is operated by the anti-freezing operation means 27, and the burner 19 is burned as required. Note that the predetermined temperature is set to a temperature at which water in the circulation circuit 3 may freeze when the outdoor air temperature falls below that.

Thereafter, when the temperature detected by the outdoor temperature sensor 8 becomes higher than a predetermined temperature, the transmission of the antifreeze operation signal from the first control means 7 to the second control means 21 is stopped. Then, the combustion of the burner 19 and the operation of the circulation pump 20 are stopped by the anti-freezing operation means 27. Further, the power supply instructing means 10 opens the relay switch 14 to stop the power supply from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2. Thereafter, while the air-conditioning operation is stopped, the above operation is repeated depending on two cases, that is, the temperature detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor 8 is higher than the predetermined temperature or lower than the predetermined temperature.

As described above, the electric power is supplied from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2 only when the temperature detected by the outdoor air temperature sensor 8 is equal to or lower than the predetermined temperature while the air conditioning operation is stopped. Also,
At this time, an antifreeze operation signal is transmitted from the first control means 7 to the second control means 21, the circulating pump 20 is operated by the antifreeze operation means 27, and the burner 19 is burned as required. Therefore, from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2
As a result, it is possible to prevent water in the circulation circuit 3 from freezing while the air-conditioning operation is stopped, while saving power consumption as compared with the case where power is constantly supplied to the air conditioner.

In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the indoor unit 1 is installed with its rear surface in contact with a wall 34 separating the indoor and outdoor. A communication hole 35 is provided in the wall 34, and a tube 36 that collectively covers the circulation circuit 3, the communication line 33, and the like is inserted through the through hole 35. Further, the outdoor temperature sensor 8 is connected to the first unit of the indoor unit 1 through the connection line 37.
It is connected to the control means 7 and provided near the outdoor side of the communication hole 35.

As shown in FIG. 2, since the outdoor air temperature sensor 8 is provided near the outdoor side of the communication hole 35, the outdoor air temperature can be accurately detected without the influence of the indoor temperature. Further, by using the communication hole 35, the outdoor temperature sensor 8 can be easily led out of the indoor unit 1 to the outside without providing a new hole in the wall 34. Further, by providing the outdoor temperature sensor 8 near the communication hole 35, the length of the connection line 37 can be minimized. Therefore, the outside air temperature sensor 8 can be easily installed without the connection wire 37 being entangled.

When the air-conditioning operation is stopped, power is supplied to the indoor unit 1 unless the plug 11 is disconnected from the outlet, and the indoor air temperature sensor 38 constantly detects the indoor air temperature. When the detected temperature of the indoor air temperature sensor 38 is higher than the first predetermined temperature, the relay switch 14 remains open, and power is not supplied from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2. On the other hand, the temperature detected by the room temperature sensor 38 is the first temperature.
When the temperature is equal to or lower than the predetermined temperature, the relay switch 14 is closed by the power supply instructing means 10 and electric power is supplied from the indoor unit 1 to the outdoor unit 2. When power is supplied to the outdoor unit 2, the outdoor air temperature sensor 39 detects an outdoor air temperature. When the detected air temperature is higher than a second predetermined temperature, the burner 19 and the circulation pump 20 are not operated, and the temperature is lower than the second predetermined temperature. At times, the circulation pump 20 is operated by the anti-freezing operation means 27, and the burner 19 is burned in addition to the circulation pump 20 as necessary. Note that the second predetermined temperature is set to a temperature at which water in the circulation circuit 3 may freeze when the outdoor air temperature falls below that, and the first predetermined temperature becomes the second predetermined temperature when the indoor air temperature falls below that. The temperature is set to be expected to be:
