A power supply circuit of a subscriber circuit is generally composed of a power transistor or the like and can supply a power supply current only in a fixed direction. In the case of a line fault detection circuit configured to detect a voltage-applied fault based on loop current information flowing through the subscriber's circuit and transmit the information as SCN information to the control system of the exchange, the fault such as AC power supply cross fault or the like is added. If an abnormal voltage exceeding the power supply voltage range of the power supply circuit is applied to the subscriber line, the supply current does not flow due to the direction of the transistor, and there is a time when the SCN information is not generated. There is a problem that the voltage application state cannot be transmitted accurately.

First, the outline of the operation of the AC cross-contact protection of the fault detection circuit shown in FIG. 1 will be described. When the overvoltage S2 due to AC cross-contact with the B line (L1) is cross-contacted, if the cross-contact voltage from the B line (L1) becomes higher than the G earth of the power supply NPN transistor of the power supply circuit 2, the overvoltage detection circuit 3 will operate. The overvoltage detection information S4 is transmitted to the information holding circuit 6. When an overvoltage due to AC cross-contact causes cross-contact to the A-line (L2), the cross-contact voltage S1 from the A-line (L2) changes to the power supply PN of the power supply circuit 1.
When the voltage is lower than the power supply voltage of the P-type transistor,
The A-line side overvoltage detection circuit 3 transmits the overvoltage detection information S3 to the overvoltage information holding circuit 6.

Normally, upon detecting the SCN signal, the exchange control system recognizes the subscriber's off-hook condition and shifts to waiting for dial reception. However, when an SCN signal due to a failure is received, the dial information is not received even if the operation shifts to a dial waiting state, so that the dialing information is recognized as abnormal, and the subscriber circuit is controlled to a high and dry state by the control signal S8 to control the thyristor. By operating the thyristor switch 8 to be turned off by the signal S7, it is possible to cut off the line side so that the abnormal AC voltage is not continuously applied to the subscriber circuit.

When only the B line (L1) side has an AC touch, the output S4 of the B line (L1) side overvoltage detection circuit 4
If only the SCN signal is sent to the SCN signal transmission circuit 11, the period during which no SCN signal is generated increases, and during the period when no SCN signal is generated, the overvoltage S2 due to AC contact is applied to the power supply circuit 2. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, the holding circuit 6 for holding the overvoltage detection
Provided before the N signal transmission circuit 11. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2, the output signal S6 of the overvoltage information holding circuit 6 can make the time during which the SCN signal is output longer than the overvoltage information S4 on the B line (L1) side. Even in the case of single-line AC cross contact in which an overvoltage is applied only to the side ()), the overvoltage can be prevented from being applied to the power supply circuit for a long time.

Further, the sum information S5 sent to the SCN signal generation circuit 11 is output to the SCN signal generation circuit 11 even in the case of single-line contact due to the circuit configuration of the overvoltage information holding circuit 6, for example, until the next SCN signal comes in the capacitor discharge circuit. , The overvoltage can be prevented from being applied to the power supply circuit at all.

1. A fault detecting circuit for a two-wire subscriber circuit, which superimposes an abnormal condition such as AC touch on a subscriber line on an SCN signal and transmits the superimposed signal to an exchange control system, on the L1 side of the two-wire subscriber line. L1 side overvoltage detecting means for outputting overvoltage information when a voltage higher than the earth potential of the power supply circuit of the provided subscriber circuit is provided, and a power supply circuit power supply provided on the L2 side of the two-wire subscriber line L2 side overvoltage detection means for outputting overvoltage detection information when a voltage lower than the voltage is applied; sum information output means for outputting sum information of these two overvoltage detection information; A fault detecting circuit for a two-wire subscriber circuit, which is superimposed on a signal and transmitted to an exchange.
