2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a structure of a desiccant packaging material used for packaging a desiccant, a printing layer is provided on the surface of a gas-permeable base material such as paper, and a heat-adhesive resin such as polyethylene is provided on the back surface. After laminating, a polyethylene layer is perforated, a printed layer is provided on the surface of a permeable base such as paper, and a split fiber nonwoven fabric is laminated on the back side through a heat-adhesive resin such as polyethylene. In addition, there is known a method in which polyethylene or the like is laminated on the surface of the split fiber non-woven fabric and then subjected to a punching process. Since the desiccant package is enclosed in a packaging container together with the food that easily absorbs moisture, and the outer surface of the desiccant packaging material comes into direct contact with the food, the desiccant packaging material is used. In addition to those having physical properties such as moisture permeability and strength, those which have no problem in food hygiene even when used in contact with food are required.

[0003] In any of the above desiccant packaging materials, a printed layer is formed on the surface of a paper layer.
The ink on the surface of the desiccant packaging material adheres to or comes into contact with the contents packaged together with the desiccant packaging. Therefore, as the ink for forming the printing layer of the desiccant packaging material, an edible dye or the like is used as a coloring agent, and a resin that does not cause a problem in contact with or adheres to food as a binder of the ink is used. In addition, the ink must be expensive, and the usable color tone is limited. As a desiccant packaging material that has solved the above-mentioned disadvantages, a configuration in which the print layer is provided on the inner surface of a gas-permeable base material layer such as paper so that the print layer does not come out on the surface can be considered. When the thickness is thick, the printed layer is difficult to see from the outside, and when the permeable base layer is thin to make the printed layer easy to see from the outside, the strength of the permeable base layer is deteriorated and the surface smoothness is deteriorated, so that printing is performed. However, there is a drawback that it becomes extremely difficult.

Means for Solving the Problems The air-permeable base material layer, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer, the printing layer, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer, the reinforcing material layer and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer Since it is a packaging material for a desiccant consisting of a laminate, the printed layer is not exposed on the outer surface, and is excellent in hygiene. In particular, the basis weight of the air-permeable base material layer is 9 to 17 g / m 2.
By using Western paper, Japanese paper, and synthetic fiber mixed paper,
Since the basis weight of the gas-permeable base material layer is small, the printed layer can be clearly seen through the gas-permeable base material layer. In addition, although a material having a small basis weight is used as the air-permeable base material layer, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer is laminated on the air-permeable base material layer, and then printed on the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer surface. Therefore, the strength and surface smoothness of the air-permeable base material layer are improved, so that printability is improved and printing is facilitated. Further, since the reinforcing material layer is laminated, the strength becomes excellent even if a small basis weight is used as the air-permeable base material layer, and even if it is broken through by the particles of the desiccant to be packed. It doesn't come out.

In the case of this constitution, as the printing ink for forming the printing layer 3, an ink conforming to the "Self-regulation on Printing Inks for Food Packaging Materials" (NL regulation) established by the Printing Inks Association of Japan should be used. It is possible to use an edible dye as a coloring agent, as a desiccant packaging material with a printed layer formed on the outer surface, and a resin that does not pose a problem in terms of hygiene even if it comes into contact with or adheres to food as an ink binder. Since there is no need to use the used ink, the selection of the type of the ink to be used and the selection of the color tone are not restricted, and the inexpensive ink can be used.

The permeable base material layer 1 has a basis weight of 9 to 17 g.
/ M 2 thin paper, Japanese paper, and synthetic fiber mixed paper are used, and machine-made Japanese paper or non-fluorescent bleached shoji paper is most suitable. Since a thin material having a small basis weight is used as the permeable base material layer 1 as described above,
The printed layer 3 formed on the surface of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 2 laminated on the surface is clearly seen through the breathable base material layer 1 and the transparent ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 2 from the outside. This makes it possible to easily read even if there are fine characters on the print layer 3. In addition, since the printing layer 3 can be formed by printing on the surface of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 2 in a state where the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 2 is laminated on the air-permeable base material layer 1, a thin air-permeable layer can be formed. Even if it is difficult to print on a single permeable base material layer, laminating the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 2 increases the strength of the permeable base material layer and improves the smoothness of the surface, Printing becomes easy, and fine characters can be printed clearly.

As the reinforcing material layer 4, a lattice mesh material, paper, synthetic fiber mixed paper, or nonwoven fabric is used. The lattice mesh material is, for example, polyethylene such as Meltac cloth (manufactured by Hagiwara Industries), Nisseki Warif (manufactured by Nippon Petrochemical), Klenett (manufactured by Kurabo), sofnett, sofcloth (manufactured by Nippon Sofu), and polyethylene. Nets can be used. The spacing between the lattices is suitably 1 to 5 mm. 1
In the case of mm or less, the lattice-shaped fibers occupy the majority of the area of the packaging material, so the area through which water vapor easily permeates is narrowed. Fiber prices increase. On the other hand, when the grid spacing is 6 mm or more, the granular material of the contents breaks out from the gap, or the tear strength is reduced, and the practicality is lacking. The most preferred spacing is in the range of 2-4 mm. By using a lattice network material made of polyethylene, polypropylene, or the like, the adhesiveness to the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer becomes excellent. When paper, synthetic fiber mixed paper, or nonwoven fabric is used as the reinforcing material layer 4, it is preferable to use one having excellent interlayer strength.

The ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 2, 4, 6
It is necessary that the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer used has a high water vapor permeability and is excellent in extrusion lamination suitability. Therefore, the vinyl acetate content is 6-30.
It is preferable to use an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an MI of 5 to 30 by weight. When the vinyl acetate content is 6% by weight or less, the moisture permeability becomes small, and the use of the desiccant packaging material is limited. On the other hand, when the vinyl acetate content is 3
If the content is 0% by weight or more, the extruded film has poor lubricity and is difficult to commercialize, and the vinyl acetate odor is undesirably high. When an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 6 to 30% by weight is used, the moisture permeability required for a desiccant packaging material can be obtained without performing perforation processing. The surface of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer forming the printing layer is preferably subjected to a corona treatment, a flame treatment or the like in order to improve the adhesiveness of the ink. In addition, since an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a high vinyl acetate content is used, if the adhesive strength to the air-permeable base material layer is reduced and becomes a problem, modified ethylene-vinyl acetate is added to the air-permeable base material layer surface. An anchor coat layer made of a copolymer resin or the like may be provided.

With respect to the thickness of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layers 2, 4, and 6, the moisture permeability increases as the thickness decreases, but there are problems in workability during extrusion lamination and heat seal strength. The problem of workability and heat seal strength at the time of extrusion lamination processing is eliminated, but the moisture permeability decreases and the price increases. Therefore,
The thickness of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layers 2, 4, 6 is suitably from 10 to 15 .mu.m.

The air-permeable base material layer, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer, the printing layer, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer, the reinforcing material layer, and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer comprise a laminate. A basis weight of 9 to 17 g / m 2 as a breathable base material layer;
Paper, Japanese paper, and synthetic fiber mixed paper, and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer has a vinyl acetate content of 6 to 30.
By using a weight-% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and using a grid mesh material, paper, or non-woven fabric as the reinforcing material layer, the printed layer is not exposed to the outside, so it is excellent in hygiene and has a breathable base. Since the basis weight of the material layer is small, the printed layer can be clearly seen through the breathable base material layer, and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer is laminated on the breathable base material layer to form an ethylene-
Since printing is performed on the vinyl acetate copolymer layer surface, even if the basis weight of the air-permeable base material layer is small, printability is good and the formation of the printed layer is easy, and since the reinforcing material layer is laminated, the strength is also excellent. It is not pierced by the desiccant particles. Further, since no holes are formed, water does not permeate into the inside even when wet with water, and there is no danger that the packaged desiccant such as lime generates heat. In the above desiccant packaging material, the surface treatment of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer on which the print layer is formed is subjected to a surface treatment for improving the adhesion of the ink, whereby the adhesiveness of the ink is improved. Selection becomes easy and printing suitability is improved, so that printing becomes easier.
