Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a function by sticking asphalt on both faces of a net woven with twisted yarn made of glass fiber or the like to form a sheetlike mat. SOLUTION: Asphalt layers 3 are laid on both faces of a mesh-like net 2 woven with twisted yarn and untwisted yarn made of glass fiber to form a sheet, and fine sand 4 is shot on the whole face, and a release sheet 5 is provided at the other face to constitute a mat 1. When repairing cracks on an asphalt road face, the mat 1 is laid on the road face to overlay it in case of cracks in slight degree, but the road is cut and the mat 1 is laid and then, asphalt is overlaid in case of serious cracks. When repairing a recess of a wheel track, the flowable part is cut off and tack coat of asphalt emulsion is scattered, and after the mat 1 is laid and attached with pressure, it is further overlaid. In this way, stresses on the overlaid layer can be reduced owing to the stress-relaxation function of the mash, and since the mesh restricts the whole asphalt mixture, the recess of wheel tracks can be prevented. Further, it can prevent the mat from hindering crushing of the mat on reusing the pavement.

2. Description of the Related Art When asphalt concrete or cement concrete structure is damaged by cracking, breakage, etc., if asphalt concrete composition or cement concrete composition is paved and constructed immediately on the damaged portion, it will be formed on the lower layer damaged portion. It is inevitable that cracks will propagate to the new upper pavement in a short period of time due to the stress concentration (reflection crack generation). In order to prevent the occurrence of such reflection cracks, a mat formed by attaching asphalt to both surfaces of a metal wire mesh as a repair reflection crack prevention mat for repair and forming a sheet is used to prevent reflection cracks and on a road. Has been proven to be effective in preventing rutting by flow. (For example, Utility Model No. 1790
However, in recent years, when performing major repair work on paved roads,
A method is adopted in which the excavated pavement material is put into a crusher at a construction site to reuse the pulverized pavement material. However, if the excavated pavement material contains a metal wire mesh, There is a new problem that the crushing is impossible and the separation is difficult.

Twisted glass fiber is used as an alternative to the metal wire mesh used as the core layer of the conventional reflection crack preventing mat. Alternatively, the present invention provides a crushable reflection crack preventing mat by means of using a net woven of non-twisted yarn as a core layer. Since the tensile strength of the glass fiber is equal to or higher than that of the metal, the fiber diameter of the glass fiber and the mesh interval can be made equal to those of the metal wire mesh used for the conventional reflection crack prevention mat. In addition, the asphalt application process and the laying work on the damaged portion of the road can be performed in the same manner as the conventional reflection crack preventing mat.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The reflection crack preventing mat of the present invention is obtained by immersing a mesh of twisted or non-twisted glass fiber in a mesh form into asphalt melted at a temperature of about 150 ° C. on both sides thereof. It is obtained by attaching asphalt and molding to a thickness of about 2 mm. The asphalt preferably has a penetration of about 30 and a twisted or non-twisted glass fiber thread diameter of about 0.5 mm. The mat can be suitably formed by roll forming, but it is preferable to perform roll forming while spraying fine sand on the surface of the asphalt in order to prevent asphalt from adhering to the roll. The mat of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view showing an example of the present invention. The mat 1 has a mesh 2 as a core layer in which a twisted fiber of glass fiber is plain woven in a mesh shape, an asphalt layer 3 attached to both surfaces thereof and formed into a sheet shape, and a large number of fine sands 4 sprayed on one surface of the asphalt layer 3. And a release sheet 5 provided on the other surface. Release sheet 5 for use
Is removed. Hereinafter, a method for repairing a cracked asphalt road surface using the mat of the present invention will be described. In the case of mild cracks, lay this mat on the existing road surface and overlay it, and in the case of advanced cracks,
After cutting the existing road surface and laying this mat, overlay is performed. In order to improve the adhesiveness between the base layer concrete and the present mat, a method of laying the present mat on a tack coat of asphalt emulsion, laying the present mat, and pressing the mat with a roller or the like is preferable. When repairing the location of rutted pits caused by the flow, the existing pavement that has the flow is cut, the tack coat is sprayed, the mat is laid, and the mat is pressed and the overlay is performed. In this way, by inserting the mat between the base layer and the overlay layer, the stress, relaxation, shear, bending, and tensile stress generated in the overlay layer by the stress relaxation function of the glass fiber mesh that is the base material of the mat is reduced. This prevents the occurrence of reflection cracks. Similarly, the glass fiber mesh restrains the entire asphalt mixture, suppresses deformation due to flow, and suppresses rutting due to flow.

The reflection crack preventing mat of the present invention can be manufactured in the same manufacturing process as a conventional mat having a metal wire mesh as a core layer, and can be laid by the same method. Glass fiber has a smaller elongation than metal,
It has a high stress relaxation function and a large binding force against flow. or,
Since the glass fiber is flexible, it fits well in the unevenness of the base layer and can maintain good adhesion to the base layer. The greatest effect is that the mat does not hinder any pulverization of the dug pavement material when it is reused.
