Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously watch and monitor four sets of VDTs without lateral movement of a person by turning many VDTs (display) toward the center of a circle and installing them as if he is surrounded by them. SOLUTION: One set of VDT is installed in a disk unit 4 and the chief part of the VDT is constituted of an operating top plate 5 and an upper shelf 6, and shaped to have such a form that a polygonal annular ring is radially cut out and a fan-shape viewed from the center of the ring. Sixteen sets of disk units 4 are connected to each other and an opening E is formed at a part of them so that one can get in or out the inside. In this way, one can simultaneously watch and monitor four sets of VDTs without his lateral motion and hence, watching and monitoring oversight can be remarkably reduced. Further, when the VDTs are put also on the upper shelf 6 to turn them outward, they can be simultaneously watched from both inside and outside and hence space efficiency can be improved.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional computer desk for dealing has a large number (about eight) of computers mounted thereon, and its shape is annular, but its operation surface is outside. In other words, the operator is outside the ring and operates and gazes toward the inside of the ring, that is, toward the center.

In the business of dealing, it is necessary for one person to keep a close watch on a large number of VDTs (displays). FIG. 1 is a plan view of a conventional desk. Even if a person A tries to view two VDT Bs at the same time,
Since the VDT screen has an angle of view “looking in the back” to humans, it is difficult to recognize it. Therefore, it was impossible to gaze at three or more alone without shifting the chair left or right. However, because of the task of monitoring and monitoring around the clock, it was necessary to watch three or four vehicles alone at night, and the person in charge had to run around the outside of the computer desk. Therefore, the worker in charge was very tired, and monitoring errors and omissions occurred frequently, and important economic information was often overlooked. It was said that the damage caused by this could be worth tens of millions of yen, so the stress on the person in charge was great. Further, the conventional computer desk for dealing required a large occupied area, and the space efficiency was extremely poor. Surprisingly, such problems have been going on for more than a dozen years. An object of the present invention is to solve the above problems.

The drawback of the conventional desk is that a person is outside the desk, and from outside to inside (in the direction of the center of the circle).
This is caused by manipulating and watching the VDT toward. In the present invention, the idea is completely reversed so that a human can operate and gaze from the inside (the center side of the circle) to the outside. In other words, many VDTs were turned to the center of the circle and reversed so as to surround the human. Thus, for the first time, it is possible for a human to simultaneously inject and monitor four VDTs without moving left and right.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. FIG. 2 shows the first embodiment.
FIG. Human A can easily look at four VDTBs by himself without moving the eyes left or right. D
Is a computer main body, which is installed according to the number of VDTs.
The main part of the desk unit 1 includes an operation top plate 2 and an upper shelf 3. The shape of the operation top plate 2 and the upper shelf 3 is a shape obtained by radially cutting the ring, and is divergent when viewed from the center of the ring. The desk unit is one and two VDTs
Can be installed, but it is divided in half and one unit
DT installation may be used. In the first embodiment, four desk units are connected. Similarly, connecting six desk units results in FIG. 3 (Embodiment 2), and connecting eight desk units results in FIG. 4 (Embodiment 3). FIG. 5 shows a polygonal ring according to a fourth embodiment. In this case, one VDT is installed in the desk unit 4. The main part is composed of an operation top plate 5 and an upper shelf 6, and the shape thereof is a shape obtained by radially cutting a polygonal ring, and is divergent when viewed from the center of the polygonal ring. Embodiment 4 is achieved when 16 desk units 4 are connected. It should be noted that, when 17 units of the units 4 are connected, a continuous annular shape is formed. However, it is inconvenient to enter and exit the inside, so it is better to provide the opening E. Reference numeral 7 denotes a central table, which could not be provided conventionally (even if provided, could not be used because it could not be inserted inside), but can be provided by the present invention, and the convenience effect is large. 6 and 7
1 is a longitudinal sectional view of an embodiment. FIG. 6 shows an example in which the VDT is embedded obliquely, and FIG. 7 shows an example in which the VDT is installed normally.

The VDT all faces the center of the ring and acts so as to surround the man who operates and gazes. This is exactly the opposite of a traditional dealing desk. This is because the VDT is conventionally surrounded by humans.
