Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the excellent form stabilization treatment of textile products and a system therefor, capable of highly easily and inexpensively subjecting textile products, in particular package-like ones to uniform treatment through fully diffusing and infiltrating high-temperature steam up to the interior of such textile products. SOLUTION: This system works as follows: a textile product 3 consisting mainly of cellulose-based fiber and/or animal-based fiber is charged into a treatment tank 1, high-temperature steam is subsequently either continuously or intermittently introduced via an inlet 8 formed on the tank 1 into the tank 1 and then either continuously or intermittently released via an outlet 20 formed on the tank 1; thereby a moving flow of the high-temperature steam is caused and ensured to pass through the textile product 3 while keeping the interior of the tank 1 at a specified form stabilization treatment temperature.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to improve the dimensional stability of textile products, a heat setting treatment using steam has been performed in the finishing process. Among them, cellulose fibers (cotton, rayon, hemp, etc.) have been used. Textiles mainly composed of animal and animal fibers (wool, silk, etc.) are particularly susceptible to wrinkling and shape loss. A special form stabilization process is actively performed to fix (store) the shape of the fiber in advance so that wrinkles are hardly formed and the shape does not collapse.

[0003] As the above-mentioned form stabilization processing, conventionally,
It is well known that a chemical such as formalin-based resin or ammonia is applied to the fiber to form cross-links in the molecular arrangement of the fiber to maintain the fiber shape. Due to the above-mentioned problems, a high-temperature steam (for example, 1
(80 ° C.) has been proposed and partially implemented.

However, when the above-mentioned steam treatment is adopted, particularly when the textile to be treated is in the form of a package (eg, cheese, beam, etc.), it is difficult to sufficiently diffuse the steam to the inside of the package. so,
There is a problem that the treatment is often performed only on the surface.

Therefore, as a method of improvement, a method has been attempted in which the inside of the treatment tank is evacuated before introducing the steam so that the steam easily diffuses and permeates. However, this method is also necessary for stabilizing the form. It is difficult to keep the inside of the package sufficiently replenished with water vapor, and as a result, it is not possible to obtain a processed product that is as uniform as desired.

[0006] As another improvement method, steam is treated as gas, and the steam is blown using a blower (such as a blower).
A method of forcibly circulating the air inside and outside the package has also been attempted, but since steam is a condensable gas, unlike an uncondensable gas such as air, a large amount of condensation occurs in the steam circulation path, There is a problem that the dew water is brought into the packaged fiber product and significantly impairs the uniformity of the heat treatment. Moreover, the blower for high temperature steam is
Since it is extremely expensive, there is an obstacle that the equipment cost is high.

That is, according to the present invention, a part of a processing tank filled with high-temperature steam is released to the atmosphere continuously or intermittently, thereby releasing high-temperature steam from an opening (steam discharging port). The moving flow of water vapor generated at this time is passed through the inside and outside of the textile, so that the interior of the textile is sufficiently contacted with the water vapor. According to this method, utilizing the pressure difference between the high pressure of high temperature steam and the atmospheric pressure, in a very short time and with a small amount of steam,
Uniform shape stabilization processing can be performed. And the processing cost is also low.

Using the above apparatus, the form stabilization treatment of the textile 3 can be performed, for example, as follows.
That is, first, steam is introduced into the treatment tank 1 from the steam introduction pipe 9 and preheated at a normal shape stabilization treatment temperature or higher. This is performed in order to prevent dew condensation on the wall surface in the processing tank 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the pipe. When the processing is repeated, only the first time is performed, and the second and subsequent times need not be performed. In some cases, it is not always necessary.

Next, the fiber product 3 is loaded into the processing tank 1. Then, the steam introduction valve 10 and the steam discharge valve 18 are both opened, and high-temperature steam (for example, saturated steam at 180 ° C.) is introduced from the steam introduction pipe 9 to heat the inside of the processing tank 1. Note that the opening degree control valves 11 and 11 are set so that the amount of introduced steam is slightly larger than the amount of released steam and that the amount of used steam can perform the shape stabilization processing without excess or deficiency. 19 is adjusted in advance.

When the temperature in the processing tank 1 measured by the temperature sensor 16 reaches a predetermined form stabilization processing temperature which is set in advance by the temperature control means 15, the steam discharge valve 18 is opened. , Only the steam introduction valve 10 is closed. Further, when the temperature in the processing tank 1 falls below the set temperature due to excessive release of steam, the steam introduction valve 10 is again opened, and the temperature in the processing tank 1 recovers to the set temperature. By repeating this series of operations for a time set in the temperature control means 15 in advance by a timer (morphological stabilization processing time, for example, 5 minutes), the processing is completed.

Simultaneously with the completion of the treatment, the steam introduction valve 10 is closed, the deaeration valve 21 is opened, and the inside of the treatment tank 1 is deaerated. After the inside of the processing tank 1 is returned to normal temperature and normal pressure, the lid of the processing tank 1 is opened, and the loaded fiber product 3 is taken out. In this way, the fiber product 3 can be subjected to the form stabilization processing.

According to this method, the high-temperature steam introduced into the processing tank 1 is discharged from the steam discharge valve 18.
High pressure of high temperature steam (for example, steam pressure of 180 ° C. =
Due to the pressure difference between 9.2 kg / cm 2 ) and the atmospheric pressure, a moving flow toward the vapor outlet 20 is inevitably formed,
The high-temperature steam moves in the processing tank 1 as shown by arrows in FIG. For this reason, high-temperature steam is forcibly penetrated from the outside to the inside of the textile product 3, and the textile product 3
Even if the cheese is wound at a high density, the high-pressure steam can sufficiently penetrate into the inside, and a uniform shape stabilization treatment can be performed.

Although the apparatus shown in FIG. 1 is set so that high-temperature steam passes from the outside to the inside of the fiber product 3 packaged in a cheese shape, the steam inlet 8 is provided.
By reversing the arrangement of the steam outlet 20 and the steam outlet 20, it may be set so that the high-temperature steam passes from the inside to the outside of the textile product 3. Also, there is no problem if the display is alternately switched from outside to inside and inside to outside. However, in the case of inside → outside, if the separation and removal of the drain mist generated in the steam introduction pipe 9 is not performed completely as much as possible,
May cause wetting of the inner layer, and may hinder uniform heat treatment. Therefore, unless the inside → outside or the remarkable effect by the switching can be expected, basically, the setting is made such that the high-temperature steam passes from the outside to the inside of the textile product 3 as in the apparatus of FIG. It is desirable to do.

As described above, according to the method of the present invention, high-temperature steam is continuously or intermittently introduced into the treatment tank and is discharged continuously or intermittently. Utilizing a pressure difference between the pressure and the atmospheric pressure, a moving flow of high-temperature steam is formed, and this is forced to pass through the inside and outside of the textile product. Therefore,
Even if the fiber product is packaged at a high density, the high-pressure steam can sufficiently penetrate into the interior, and a uniform shape stabilization treatment can be performed. Moreover, according to this method, there is an advantage that the treatment can be performed at a low cost with a very short time and a small amount of steam.
