Abstract
本物品は主に高齢者を対象にしたエクササイズ用のマットである。ピアノ鍵盤が左から右に音階が上がるのに対し、参考写真に示すように逆方向で鍵盤を配列した。鍵盤上には音階が明示され、かつ使用者が踏みやすいように一オクターブを二段配置とした。底面には安全のため滑り止めを施している。 使用にあたっては、楽譜を目で読み取り又は旋律で耳から刺激を受け、受けた刺激をマットに表記された音階を踏むことで連動することができ、音楽の効用（リラクゼーション、思い出の曲で当時の記憶を呼び起こす、歌詞や題名が自然とよみがえる等々）が高まり、生きるたのしみにつながる。使用者は旋律などのリズムに合わせ、演奏者気分を味わうことができる。 また、幼児を対象に知育発達にも使用可能である。 素材の特徴として、厚さはおおよそ５ミリメートルであり、折り曲げることはできないが女性や５歳前後の幼児の力でも、手で丸めて筒状にすることができ、携帯性や収納性に優れている。
