この意匠に係る物品は、脱落防止ねじであって、例えば２枚のパネルを組み立てる際に使用されるものである。使用時には、まず、使用状態を示す参考図１に示すように、１枚目の板に本物品を螺合する。次に、ねじの先端部で２枚目の板の穴を探りながら、フローティングナットで固定する。ここで、大型パネルを組み立てる際には、１枚目の板に設けられたねじ穴の位置と２枚目の板に設けられた穴の位置とがずれることがある。本物品のねじ頭下面には曲面が設けられると共に、ねじ頭とねじ部との間に設けられた非ねじ部がねじ部外径よりも小径に設けられている。そのため、使用状態を示す参考図１のように、１枚目の板の穴越しに２枚目の板に設けられた穴の位置を視認できない状態でも２枚目の板に設けられた穴を探りやすい。また、使用状態を示す参考図２に示すように、板に対して本物品が傾いた状態であっても、ねじ頭下面の曲面と球面座金上面に設けられた曲面とが面接触するために、ねじをしっかりと固定することができる。The article according to this design is a captive screw, which is used, for example, when assembling two panels.
